”Hyukkie what the hell happened? Kyuhyun is once again locking himself in his room!”

> And Siwon doesn’t want to get out from the swimming pool. He’s been there for two hours, doing laps non-stop! <

”Apparently our plan only made it worse *sigh*”

> Can you come over to my place? We’ll figure something else <

”We should. This can’t go on any longer. See you in an hour?”

> Ok. I’ll be waiting <

And here are the EunHae couple yet again trying to make another plan for Siwon and Kyuhyun to get together, without making Hyukjae get in trouble.

Donghae actually had many times last night where he could've told Kyuhyun the truth and get it over with, but he promised Hyukjae he won’t do that so instead, he now agrees on a second plan. 

“You think this will work?”

”It will. Hopefully”

Kyuhyun’s POV
I’m seriously mad at Donghae for tricking me like this. Last night was horrible because of him. After I opened up to him, this is what I get? I spent the whole night crying … again. I can still feel Siwon’s touch on my lips. How I wished he would’ve kissed me back then. I really wanted to feel him again.

What am I saying? Of course he can’t! I’ll just focus on work and to my luck, Hae is not working today so I won’t have to deal with him for now ...

”Kyu Kyu!” 

Or so I thought. I sigh when I see Donghae coming towards me with his goofy smile and sparkly eyes. He sure seems happy with Hyukjae. I’m glad for him though.

…

“Kyu, where are you going?” Just when Donghae came closer to Kyuhyun, the latter turned around and left him dumbfounded.

”Yah! Kyuhyun-ah … Don’t walk out on me!” Donghae, who clearly seems to have something in his mind, follows Kyuhyun around the hospital not caring about how the latter kept on ignoring him because he knows his friend and he knows he can’t ignore him for long, which he was right about …

“Stop following me!” Kyuhyun angrily snaps at Donghae before turning again and stepping into the on call room.

”Well, stop ignoring me”

”Oh yeah? Why should I? You’re not my friend anymore”

”Oh come on! What did I do?”

Kyuhyun doesn’t have to answer that. He just glares at Hae, who’s pretending to be all innocent, until he finally gives up and gets to the chase.

“Come on! I didn’t know it was Siwon’s house”

”And I’m supposed to believe that?”

”Well … Yeah!”

”Hae, please. I’m really not in the mood for this. Go play with your new boyfriend”

”Aaaw is my Kyu Kyu jealous?” Donghae beams at Kyuhyun’s words, he sure was afraid Kyuhyun would be so mad at him but he always knows how to make his friend smile just like now.

Kyuhyun on the other hand, is tired of arguing. So he just takes a seat on the couch and pulls out his phone to play with.

”You’re childish”

“Oh seriously? You mean you don’t miss meeee” Donghae walks to sit next to Kyuhyun, who’s already focusing on some game on his phone, and crashes him into a tight side hug.

”Haaae! Stop it! I can't breathe!” Well Kyuhyun can’t deny that Donghae does really know how to make him smile. He’s the first person who was able to make him forget about Siwon even if it’s for a short second.

”I’ll make it up to you”

“How?”

“Dinner tonight … On me” Kyuhyun is actually really hungry since he hasn’t been eating well in the last few days, precisely since he met Siwon again. So a free dinner sounds really good right now. Besides, he’ll make Donghae pay for what he did last night by ordering the whole menu.

”It better be someplace expensive”

“We’re doctors! Expensive is not an issue”

“Okay. But I still have an hour so I don’t want you roaming here”

“Well I have nothing to do, how about I’ll help?”

“That’s a wise offer. Now shoo, I need to finish this game first”

Kyuhyun’s focus is back on his phone while Donghae just smiles and silently prays that tonight will be a good night. ‘You’ll be okay Kyu’

“So? Is this expensive enough?” Kyuhyun and Donghae just stepped into one of the most expensive restaurants in Seoul. It’s really undeniable that Kyuhyun is very impressed by Donghae’s choice, which makes him a bit hesitated about his small revenge since this looks very, very expensive.

“Hae … are you sure you want us to have dinner here?

”Yep. Don’t worry about it”

Kyuhyun just smiles and continues to walk inside the restaurant, and thanks to the delicious scent that’s nuzzling his nose, he doesn’t care anymore if it’s expensive or not. However, as the waiter leads them to their table, Kyuhyun spots a familiar someone.

”Hae … Isn’t that your boyfriend?”

”Really? Where?” Donghae turns his head pretending that he didn’t know about Hyukjae being here and sitting exactly at the table where the waiter is taking them. But, being a bad actor, Kyuhyun starts to get suspicious as they walk closer to their table and especially, when there were two people sitting on that table.

”S-Siwon?” Kyuhyun’s eyes widen when he sees that Siwon is the other figure sitting with Hyukjae at the table. He nervously looks at Donghae who immediately avoids his gaze and goes to sit next to his boyfriend.

Siwon’s POV
I should’ve guessed! Hyukjae inviting me for dinner? And at this expensive restaurant? That’s a first. I should’ve known that there’s a catch!
However, I can’t help but feel glad to meet Kyuhyun again. Even though seeing him frequently in the last few days has become even more painful than not seeing him at all, but I’m glad he’s here. Hopefully tonight I’ll get to know how he truly feels about me.

Kyuhyun’s POV
I can’t believe I got tricked again! Ughhh damn you fishy! I hate this! Don’t you know how much I’m suffering just thinking about him? And now being near him, how the hell am I supposed to stay calm! I can feel my heart beating already just by him looking at me.
He looks surprised too, so maybe he was also tricked? Yeah that must be it. He can’t honestly want to meet me.

Donghae’s POV
I’m seriously doomed if this does not work. I’ll do anything for them to just talk. So, me and Hyukjae came up with this idea. Luckily, Kyuhyun wasn’t stubborn enough to deny my invitation. Well I was right. Food is the most suitable excuse to get him here.
They’re staring at each other, aaaaw how cute! Wish they would kiss hehe that would be awesome!
I chose to sit next to Hyukkie so Kyuhyun would sit next to Siwon.

Hyukjae’s POV
It was really hard to drag Siwon here especially when I said I’ll pay. He knows I can’t afford dinner in such a place but I really want to pay. He’s in this situation because of me and I truly want to help him. So whatever it takes, I’ll do it.
I motion for Donghae to sit next to me so Kyuhyun would have to sit next to Siwon.

So this is how the night began, awkwardness over load. Each one of them is burying his face in the menu. Two of them are discussing their plan behind the piece of cardboard, while the other two are nervously reading it, even though not quietly focusing on what’s written but on their beating hearts.

“Want to order Shrimps … Hyuk-ah?” Siwon emphasized on the shrimps word, implying to the recent poisoning incident, making Hyukjae shift in his seat at Siwon’s clear angry tone.

Kyuhyun couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, but of course he doesn’t let them see it. He clears his throat before also deciding to attack his friend.

”How about you Hae? Want to order dead fish” It’s Siwon’s turn to laugh at that but unlike Kyuhyun he doesn’t hide it, which makes the latter turn his gaze at him and shot him one of his bright smiles.

Oh my poor heart! Siwon thought

So here they are, silently waiting for their food to arrive. Hyukjae and Donghae keep on whispering even though they think Siwon and Kyuhyun don’t notice it. Siwon is busy playing with his entwined fingers and Kyuhyun is letting his eyes wander at the rest of the restaurant, until Donghae decides to break the silence …

”So …”

”So …” Yeah, it wasn’t that successful as he and Hyukjae didn’t quite know how to start a conversation. Siwon and Kyuhyun glanced at them waiting for the rest of the sentence but the older soon clears them from their misery

”So … Donghae, you really like Hyuk-ah?”

”Yes. I do”

“Tsk … cheesy” Kyuhyun teases, when Hyukjae holds Donghae’s hand and kisses it, making the both blush at the comment.

Finally the food came and now they have something to focus on … eating.

Kyuhyun can’t deny how he enjoys the feeling of sitting next to Siwon, and how his stomach flips every time their elbows touch. Siwon on the other hand, can't help but steal glances from the corner of his eye, watching in delight how Kyuhyun eats. Just like a five year old baby. Siwon can’t help but smile at his own thought…

”Is something wrong Siwon-ah?” Hyukjae asks, making Siwon realize that it wasn’t just a smile but apparently a laugh that drew the others attention.

”N-No. I Just remembered something” he clears his throat and shifts in his seat

”Care to share?” Donghae playfully asks but before Siwon can answer, Kyuhyun strangely starts to freak out …

“Oh no! I need to go”

”Kyu, what’s wrong?” All the three are curiously looking at Kyuhyun who’s trembling in his seat.

”I can’t stay. She can’t see me like this. I need to leave” Kyuhyun is trying to hide his face with his hand while completely freaking out …

”Kyuhyun-ssi, who’s she?” Hyukjae asked but Donghae quickly squeezes his hand since he knows who Kyuhyun is talking about.

”This is not how I want to meet her after all this time. I have no one by my side” 

Kyuhyun’s POV
This is definitely not how I pictured meeting her and him again. I can’t face them like this! Meeting like this is too miserable. I’m alone while they apparently still together. I can’t! I just can’t! I have no one by my side. I have to leave …

Siwon’s POV
Could he be talking about his ex? So he still never had met her since that night?
Kyuhyun-ah … you have me by your side.

So before Kyuhyun can stand up and leave the place, Siwon’s hand already landed on his stopping him from leaving ”Yes you do” he whispers while softly caressing the back of Kyuhyun’s hand.

The younger, bewildered with the fact of meeting his ex again, and Siwon’s words plus the latter’s warm hand on his, doesn’t know what to do anymore. He just stares at Siwon’s eyes that are showing him nothing but sincerity. Just looking in those black orbs makes him relax and forget about his surroundings.

Lost in Siwon’s touch and intense stare, Kyuhyun doesn’t realize the two figures that are now standing in front of him until she speaks …

”Oppa? Is that you?”

Siwon’s smile is all that Kyuhyun needed to get his courage and turns to face her. And there she is. With her innocent look and her fancy dress while holding his arm and putting the most fake smile ever. She is waiting for Kyuhyun to speak and the latter realizes for sure that he needs to say something, just anything. Unfortunately, words wouldn’t come out of his mouth. Instead, Siwon who sensed how uncomfortable Kyuhyun is, in one swift move, he throws his arm over Kyuhyun’s shoulder while his other hand is still holding the younger’s.

”Oh you must be Kyunnie’s ex girlfriend and ex friend. I actually wanted to meet you guys”

Kyuhyun’s eyes broaden when Siwon’s arm landed on his shoulder and even more when he was the one to answer her.

”Why is that?” She nervously asks while Siwon just smirks at her, and while diverting his gaze between the two of them, he states …

”Because if you both hadn’t cheated on him … I wouldn’t have found him. So … Thank you”

And with that, Siwon’s hand that’s on the younger’s shoulder reaches for Kyuhyun’s cheek and turn it to the side, making Kyuhyun’s lips reachable to be claimed.

The sudden act sure made both her and him startled, but that’s the least Siwon cares about right now.

First, he only dares to on Kyuhyun’s bottom lip, kissing it and it slowly as if trying to get the younger used to the unexpected move, but seconds later, Siwon’s mouth captures the full lips that he had been desiring since the day he met Kyuhyun again.

Kyuhyun, clearly startled by the abrupt intrusion on his lips, takes a few seconds before finally figuring out what just happened and realizing that Siwon is kissing him right now. The kiss that he has being longing for, for a long time. Without further ado, as he starts melting into the kiss, the brown orbs are becoming heavy and closing as he enjoys how Siwon’s mouth is abusing his lips.

Slowly, the younger relaxes into the delicate feeling as he titles his head a bit more to the side, letting Siwon take control of his mouth, while gently moving his own lips and kissing back, leading to a smile to form slightly on Siwon’s lips as he feels moderately flattered when Kyuhyun returns the action.

Soon, a need formed deep inside of both them, a strange aching desire that was so familiar but yet longed for.

However, Siwon not quite satisfied by the slow yet luxuriously kiss, carefully parts Kyuhyun’s lips as he lets his tongue to be pushed inside of the latter’s mouth, tasting his burning, sultry, sweet flavour. Gladly, Kyuhyun parts his lips even more, letting his tongue mate with the older’s as they dance, map out and seduce each other. Siwon’s tongue is surely magical as it managed to bring soft moans out of Kyuhyun’s throat.

At this moment, it wasn’t about preventing Kyuhyun from looking pathetic in front of his ex girlfriend, nor planting jealousy in her, no. It’s more like two people drowning in their feelings that are too strong to ignore, two people who are feeling the ultimate desire just from kissing each other, two people who destiny brought together twice. Even though, the reason they started this kiss is already gone in the first five seconds of the kiss, Siwon and Kyuhyun are lost in their own world, and although they ran out of air, neither of them is ready yet to let go of the other, afraid it will all end the moment they break contact.

Eventually, Siwon pulls away but slowly to see Kyuhyun’s reaction. The latter is just staring blankly at him, making Siwon feel his heart drop to the edge of his stomach. He knows he shouldn't have done this … Kyuhyun was in a panic mode and he took complete advantage of him.

…

On the other side of the table, Donghae and Hyukjae are sitting there mouths slightly agape, admiring the view in front of them. They sigh in relief when the kiss ended and there was no slap or anything, just both men staring at each other for a quite sometime until Kyuhyun frees his hand before averting his gaze to the two dumbfounded across from him.

”Hae … It’s getting late, we should go”

Still a bit astonished about what he just witnessed, Donghae just nods before turning to Hyukjae to inform him about ending the night. The latter, even more astonished, nods back before turning his attention to Siwon.

“Siwon-ah … should we also leave?”

The expression on Siwon’s face is unreadable. He’s just staring at his unfinished meal but his mind is somewhere far away. He can still taste Kyuhyun on his lips and no matter how hard he tries to calm his beating heart, it won’t stop racing fast.

”Yes. Let’s go” He finally answers but just as they all stand up, Donghae states …

”Kyun-ah, do you mind going with Siwon? I have your nightshift to cover remember? So Hyukkie will drive me there” Donghae knows that it’s really risky what he just said and that Kyuhyun will be once again upset with him but for now, he only cares about helping him and Siwon be together.

Surprisingly, Kyuhyun doesn’t show any reaction of being mad at Donghae right now. He just nods and starts walking out of the restaurant. Apparently he’s still under the spell of Siwon’s kiss.

So Siwon says goodbye to Donghae and Hyukjae before following Kyuhyun. Once he’s at the door, Kyuhyun is just amazingly standing there waiting for him. Siwon pulls out the keys and walks to his car, opening the front door for Kyuhyun to get in.

Obediently, Kyuhyun steps into the car and even though it wasn’t the same one as Siwon had two years ago, it didn’t stop the memories of their first meeting from flashing back into his head.

The drive was quite and very awkward. Not a single word was uttered except Kyuhyun stating his home address, but that was in the beginning of the ride. As Siwon parks the car in front of Kyuhyun’s house, without glancing at him, the younger slowly bows his head before unlocking the door.

However, as he is about to step out of the car, Siwon reaches for Kyuhyun’s hand and softly slips it into his. There’s one question that he’s being meaning to ask and this is the moment for it.

“I just have one question. If we have met, before all of this happened. Before her, before my ex … Would you have given us a chance?”

A sad smile pricks on Kyuhyun’s lips while his eyes are focusing on how their hands are clasped loosely together. He then moves his grip until their fingers are entwined. He tightens his hold before looking up at Siwon and says …

”Definitely” With that, he quickly let go of Siwon’s hand that was setting his body on fire, before stepping out of the car and disappearing inside the building.

The Next Morning

Kyuhyun wakes up to his phone ringing. Sleepily, he picks up without checking whose calling

”Hello?”

> Kyuhyun-ssi, It’s Dr.Kim <

”Oh chief, good morning”

> Sorry to wake you this early, but I just wanted to inform you on something <

”No problem Sir. What is it?”

> The hospital is having a charity event tomorrow night. You and Donghae-ssi must attend. Clear? <

”Y-yes Sir. We’ll be there”

> 5pm, don’t be late <
