Lina's Boarding House: All Aliens Welcome

Gaaaah I changed my mind. A lot of people were thinking of Yongguk or Himchan or something like that, so whatever. They're all love interests, I don't care anymore!!!

Anyway, I just bought a B.A.P NO NO NO, NO MEEERCY mini-album cd with an included poster. The plus side of having a two-month vacation in Taiwan. And I just watched Music Bank on TV. I love Asian countries.

Anyway, sorry it's been so hectic over here, I've been ignoring my readers. I love you guys for continuing to subscribe ^^

When the aliens finally finished eating, you headed towards the shopkeeper to pay for the meal. You felt a bit nervous. The boys were no small eaters, and you really weren't sure how much it would cost.

The shopkeeper tallied it up, then hesitated. He glanced at you. "Um, miss?"

"Y-yes?"

"You were the one with those six boys, right?"

"Yes....."

"It's going to cost you.....uh....well......it's 91000 won." (about $80 CN, if coinmill.com's Canadian-Korean converter is correct)

"WHAT???!!!" You shrieked, your head spinning in shock. "H-h-how?"

"Er, well......a large bowl of ramyeon is about 10000 won, and the side dishes are 2000 won each. And you ordered seven of them, so, well.....you know the math."

Youngjae noticed the distressed look on your face and instantly went on alert. "Lina? What's wrong?" He turned to the shopkeeper. "Yah, how much did it cost?"

"91000 won," the shopkeeper repeated.

Youngjae's brain quickly converted the amount into Mato currency. "WHAT?"

The sound of his voice attracted the other boys, who were by their side in a second. "Youngjae, what's wrong?" Yongguk demanded.

Youngjae pulled them aside and told them in an undertone how much money the bill cost.

"WHAT?!"

"Yah, you, are you crazy?!" Himchan yelped, grabbing you and pulling you into a one-armed hug while glaring at the shopkeeper. "Are you trying to extort money out of her? Look at this girl! She's a precious, delicate creature! How could you ask this much from her? Do you think she goes around with a money-growing tree?!"

"There are trees that grow money on Earth?" Zelo whispered in shock. "I never knew that!"

"Shut up, maknae," Youngjae whispered back.

Himchan wasn't done ranting. "You extortionist! You mafia member! You loan shark! Making Lina upset, why I oughta....."

"H-Himchan, that's enough!" You squeaked before things got really ugly. "Really!"

You opened your wallet with a shaking hand and withdrew all the bills you had in there. "T-this is all I have, sir," you said in a wavering voice. "I'm sorry." You ducked your head in shame and embarrassment. You were a good 70000 won short. (about $61. If it's wrong, don't blame me, blame coinmill.com)

The shopkeeper sighed as he took the money. He was a kind man, and he felt bad for you. "I'm really sorry, young lady," he said in a regretful voice. "I would like to let you off just this once, but I'll get in trouble for it. And I can't let you leave either, I'm sorry. Is there a parent you can call to pay the rest off?"

"N-no. There isn't!" Your voice broke when you said this. You had nobody. No friends, no family. Antonio was gone who-knows-where, and you were stuck in this shop with no money. You were beyond mortified, you were almost in tears from the stress of the situation.

B.A.P noticed your tears and instantly ran over. "Yah yah yah yah!" Himchan said in shock. "Lina, don't cry!"

Yongguk walked over to the shopkeeper. You were pretty certain he wasn't TRYING to look so absolutely menacing. All the same, the shopkeeper flinched, as though expecting Yongguk to hit him.

"Can we work?" He asked seriously in his deep voice, surprising everyone. "If we work here, we can pay it off, right? We'll wash dishes or do chores, whatever."

"Hyung!" Jongup said in awe. Yongguk, Mato Planet's coldest and most ruthless killer, leader of Sector B.A.P, one who never bowed down to an Earthling! Yongguk, reducing himself to a mere chore boy, just to stop Seo Lina's tears!

"So admirable!" Zelo chirped eagerly. "You're awesome, hyung!"

"Be quiet, kid, adults are talking." Himchan said, pushing him aside. Zelo scowled and shoved him right back. "I wanna change generals!"

"Well," the shopkeeper scratched his head, smiling. "I guess I could use some extra help in the kitchens. You only have to work an hour, maybe two, and it would be paid completely off."

"Alright, let's do it!" Yongguk said, clapping his hands together. "Get into the kitchens, brats!"

"Wait! I'll come too!" You said, rushing forwards. Daehyun stopped you.

You glared at him. "What's your problem? I wanna help too! It's my fault I don't have enough money, anyway."

Daehyun stared back at you. No, it's our fault, that we were stupid enough to make you pay so much money for one meal.

"It doesn't matter how much you look at me, I still won't understand unless you say something!" You exploded, stomping your foot in frustration. Daehyun really annoyed you with his mask.

Daehyun couldn't help but smirk at your mini fit of rage and pointed to a chair. Just stay out of the way, Seo Lina. This is our way of repaying you.

You pouted angrily. Even if he still didn't talk, you couldn't misread a pointing finger. You trudged to the chair, disheartened, and sat down in it.

They were gone for a very long time. You sighed and propped your head up with your hand, blowing out air from your cheeks in impatience. They should be done any time now.

Suddenly, the door opened, and the sound of loudly chattering and laughing teens echoed throughout the store. You looked up, and your heart sank.

"Hey, look who it is! Loserina!" Taena called out in malicious delight. You ducked your head, sighing deeply. There was no getting out of this now.

Taena walked over to you, followed by her circle of close-knit friends. "What's up, Loserina?" She said, calling you by her favourite pet name, the one she always called when no adults were around to hear. "Eating here alone? That's pretty sad."

"Sad?" One of her friends snorted. "That's downright pathetic!" The group erupted into laughter as your cheeks burned, trying desperately to pretend they weren't there. It wasn't working very well.

You really didn't understand why Taena hated you so much. Everyone else treated you, if not nicely, then at least civilly. But Taena, she hated you right from the start. She picked you out as the one outcast to bully. Her friends, of course, were more than willing to follow along.

"So, Loserina? Where are your friends? Don't tell me you actually are here eating alone."

You hesitated. You would give anything to tell Taena that you DID come here with -- well, not friends, more like possibly psychopathic alien boarders -- but then you would have to explain where they were, and what they were doing, and you knew from experience she would start making fun of you having no money or something silly.

But keeping your mouth shut would prove her point that you had no friends -- you did, but none were close enough to hang out with you outside of school -- and she would bully you all the same.

Neither choice sounded pleasant.

You hesitated too long, however, because Taena crowed out, "So, you DON'T have any friends?" And her friends laughed triumphantly.

You looked down until you were stairng at your hands, which were clenched into fists on your lap. You had to keep repeating Antonio's words of "If you fight fire with fire, you just create more fire" to stop yourself from retaliating on Taena. However, your face grew redder and redder as she continued to jab at you.

"Lina, where are you? We're finished!"

Your head shot up at the blessed sound, as the aliens trooped back out of the kitchen, looking tired but pleased. You jumped up from your seat and pushed through the small crowd of teens. "Guys! You're finished!" You were almost ready to hug them. But not quite.

"Who are THEY?" Taena demanded, looking at the six hot aliens in shock. Several of her female friends were already checking them out and giggling to each other.

"They......" You paused, but couldn't help but say, "They are my friends." Smiling at the dumbstruck look on Taena's face, you turned to them and said extra-sweetly, "Are you ready to go?"

"Sure," Himchan said with a smile, clueless as to your smug expression. "Let's go, then. Zelo, did you bring the skateboard?"

"Jongup has it and he won't give it back to me!" Zelo whined, vainly trying to grab at the skateboard with his long arms. However, Jongup easily pushed him aside. "I don't want him to run away again," Jongup whispered meekly.

"Alright, let's go then." You tromped out of the shop, happy to finally have Taena speechless.

"Who was that, Lina? Your friend?" Youngjae asked curiously.

"Um, no, not exactly....." You hesitated. You didn't really feel comfortable telling them you were bullied at school.

"She was an enemy, then?" Yongguk demanded, a killer gleam in his eye. "Should we go back? Should we eliminate her?"

"No no no no NO!!!" You waved your hands frantically. "Let's get something straight, guys! There will be NO "eliminating" of any kind while you're on this planet, got it? She's an enemy, but she's MY enemy!" You gritted your teeth as you thought of the many years of hardship you endured from her torture. "I swear, some day I'll get her back, but I'm doing it my way, without any help!"

They stared at you in amazement. "Wow, Lina, I didn't know you had this side to you!" Youngjae said. "I'm impressed!"

"Getting revenge is nothing to be impressed about," you said importantly. "Antonio always said that to me. You may feel satisfied once you've knocked them down, but you won't feel happy about it. It's not something you can be proud of, especially if you stooped to their level in order to do it."

"Your godfather is really smart," Jongup obversved.

You beamed. "Isn't he? He's the best. He always has a saying and a quote for everything, and he can speak lots of different languages! He actually taught me, you know. I can speak five different languages. I'm trying to learn French, too, but it's a bit tough because of school lately. In the summer, I'll definitely learn French! And he has lots of money, although I don't know where he gets it. But he goes to places all over the world, and always brings back stuff for me! One time, he got me this doll from India, and......"

B.A.P listened to you talk about Antonio with a huge smile on your face. They had never seen you get so excited when talking. Your cheeks were slightly flushed, and your eyes sparkled brightly.

A few members (Himchan and Zelo in particular) were just staring at you in surprise and delight at your smile, but Daehyun frowned behind his mask.

I don't care if he's her godfather or not, why does she talk about him so lovingly like that? It pisses me off for some reason.
