I ripped open the letter from the University and read its contents. All my hard work, tears, extra credits, all-nighters, pulled hair and determination to get accepted has finally paid off.

I called up my best friend, Jennifer as soon as I got the letter.

*ring ring*

“Gosh, Jenn! Pick up already! I hope you’re not in class though…” I said out loud.

“Hello~”

“Jenn! I’ve got GREAT news! We still on to work out tonight? I’m gonna tell it to ya then, ok?!”

“Uhh, yeah. Sure, I’ll ya tonight then?”

“Ok! I’ll see you tonight! Bye!~”

*later that night at the gym*

“So what’s the big news?” asked Jennifer as I greet her outside the University’s gym.

“I’ll tell you after we work out” I said slyly.

“… you’re going to make me wait till we get done working out!?” she said frustrated.

“Yes!” I replied back laughing.

“That’s cruel…”

I gave her a merong~ (:P)

After two hours of intense cardio, we decided to end our workout sesh there. “Ok, what’s the good news then? I had to wait two hours in class and two hours of working out trying to figure out the good news. What in the world is it woman!?” yelled Jennifer laughingly.

I broke out into a huge grin, my heart was racing in anticipation as I grabbed the letter that determined my future and held it out to Jenn.

“What is this?” she asked.

“… read it you dummy!”

“ok, ok…”

…..

“YOU GOT INTO KOREA UNIVERSITY IN SEOUL!? OH MY GOD! I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!” she screamed and hugged me while we jumped up and down.

“Hahahah! I know right!? I can’t believe I even got in! this is surreal…”

“When do you leave?! How long are you going to be over there anyways? You’re leaving me!?” Jennifer whinned.

“Chill out woman! I leave next week… I haven’t even called my parents to them about it. I’m going to be over there this summer since it’s only a summer semester for international students but I’m ok with that. I’m only going to be gone this summer Fluff! (her nickname) don’t you dare use  those puppy dog eyes on me! You know how much I wanted to go to Korea…”

“I know… I just can’t believe you’re actually going! This is just crazy! My roomie is leaving me… but I really am happy for you. What did Chelsie say about it though?” she asked worriedly.

I cracked up like no other at the mention of my best friend and sidekick. The picture of the text message she replied popped up in my head after I told her about my acceptance to Korea University was the usual, scary and shocking.

“Here, I’ll show ya what she said after I texted her.”

“I’LL KILL YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O.O YOU’RE SO LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! But guess what!!!!???.... O.O”

“WHAT UNNIE!!!????”

“I GOT ACCEPTED TO KOREA UNIVERSITY TOO!!!!!! I’M LEAVING NEXT WEEK TOO!!!!!!!!!! I GET TO GO TO KOREA WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Jennifer let out a sigh at the text while I continued laughing at Chelsie.

“Where are you going to stay over there then? At a dorm right?”

I looked away knowing she was going to ask that and said, “about that…. Come on, let’s hit the showers first. I’ll tell you after we clean up.”

Jennifer gave me a “what do you have up your sleeves” look but went with me to the showers.

“Jenn, head in first, I’ve got to do something really quick.”

“Kay!”

I ran up to the guy who was still working out with his earphones plugged in and tapped in him on his shoulder. He looked up, pulled his right earplug and looked questioningly at me.

“Hey Cody, do you mind if we turn up the radio in the showers?”

Cody gave me his signature crooked smile while his baby blue eyes underneath his sandy bangs sparkled and said, “sure, I don’t mind at all, you.

Wow… that crooked smile and those baby blues sure do kill me… I’m going to miss his smile…

I mentally shook myself from his gaze and blushed saying, “thanks, Cody. Really appreciate it!”

 Cody laughed then went back to his work out.

I yelled back at Jennifer, “Hey Jenn! Cody said we could turn up the radio! Blast it up woman!!!”

15 mins later

“Wow… So let me get this straight…” Jennifer began as we changed into our sweats and tee.

“You’re going to be working in JYPE? The music producer and company that 2PM works for? As a 'dorm mom’ for the summer?” “What the heck does that have to do with Physical Therapy?”

“It has nothing to do with PT, but I told them I needed a job this summer and JYPE was hiring so… I told them I’d take it ‘cause it pays good! I’m not sure if I am going to be working for 2PM… they haven’t really told me who I’m working for. For all I know, I could be working for either miss A or 2AM, their brother group. Being able to work for JYP is an honor! I can be ‘near’ 2PM and if I personally work for Papa J himself, I will most likely work in the building where the boys practice and rehearse. I’m more than happy with that," I said trying to conceal my disappointment at the possibility of not working for 2PM.

“I can see through you, you know that right?” Jennifer looking at me

“I know… but, if I convince myself enough times that I’m happy with it, I’ll start to believe it. Now, let’s dance!” I yelled as I plugged in my iPod and put on 2PM’s song, “Electricity”

“WHOO!!!!! COME ON, JENN! MOVE THOSE Y HIPS THAT WE’VE EARNED! I’M LEAVING NEXT WEEK AND I WANT YOU TO DO DANCE!!!” I screamed over the song

Cody saw us dancing like a bunch of monkeys but joined in nonetheless. “Why are you dancing!?” Cody yelled at me.

“I go accepted to the Study Abroad Program to study in Korea for the summer! I’m leaving next week!”

What I didn’t see was his face dropping and looking hurt but quickly changed into a full out smile and gave me a hug saying, “congratulations you! That is so awesome!”

I laughed heartedly and enjoyed the company of Jennifer and Cody while it lasted.

*end of flashback*
