Eunmi's POV

Home. Got to get home now.

I lived 45 minutes away from the school via transit. I couldn't wait for the bus. I ran home. Running through the park, the stores, the highway. I ran ran ran until I reached the foot of the hill where home was. Climbing up the stairs I didn't even notice a silver Porsche was parking in the drive way. 

"Baby sis! School doesn't end til` an hour later, why are you home so early? ... AND WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY FROM ME AND HAVE BANDAGED UP KNEES?" Jay's voice was crazily screaming at me.

I quicken my steps, reached the front door and raced towards my bedroom.

I slammed the door shut just as Jay reached the front door.

"BABY SIS, COME BACK HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANCE."

Pills. Find the pills quick. Get rid of the flashes. 

I scurried to the desk drawer that was beside my bed and opened the compartment searching for the orange container. The one that contained my pain reducer helpers. I swallowed 2 at once and gulped it down with the water bottle I always keep beside my bed in case of emergency. Thank god I did.

Slowly, my vision was beginning to appear in focus. And the lights were gone.

I put the container back in the desk drawer, snuggled deep inside my precious handkerchief.

Just when I closed the drawer and got up to open my door, Jay barged in in full brother mode.

"Lee Eunmi, what do you think you're doing." 

He never calls me by my name, much less add Lee, unless he was pissed. 

'Uh-oh,' I thought as I stared back at his flaming eyes.
