Kyuhyun was an only child. His mom died in an accident, when he was only eight years old. And he could remember that his dad always shouts at his mom. All he could do back then was wonder why their family was like that.

One night, he was playing in their living room when his mom went downstairs with a big suitcase.  His mom went to him telling him s he loves him so much but she needs to go. His dad tried to stop his mom but she hurriedly went outside the house. He saw her getting inside a car. After a few hours, someone reported to his dad that the car his mom was riding crashed. With a guy whom he heard his mom’s new lover.

His dad loves his mom so much, that his dad went crazy. No one could ever talk to him. And his classmates we’re always teasing him for his dad is crazy. When he was already a teenager, his dad’s condition became better.

And he knew that his mom never really loved his dad, that his parents we’re together because of him. And that’s why he promised himself that what happened to his dad won’t happen to him. He won’t let himself fall for a girl.

His mom left his dad because of love. His dad went crazy because of too much love for his mom. If he ever feels special for a girl, he won’t let that happened.

His dad always tells him to work for the company, but he refused.

Now he works as a web designer. And he’s enjoying his work, especially if he can play Star craft anytime. He has now his own house but he always visits his dad.

“Hi, dad,” He said. He saw his dad cooking in the kitchen.

“Did you eat?”

He nodded. Then he went to the living room. His cell phone rang.

“Hey, Yoona!” This was one of his ex-girlfriends. And he knew that they were over.

“Guess where I am now?”

“I’m busy right now. Could you-“

“I’m outside your house.”

“I’m not there, besides there’s no more reason for us to see each other. We’re done with each other, okay? Take care of yourself.”  He ended the call. Maybe it’s time for him to stay in a new place. Suddenly he thought of Cho Towers. His family owned it, and he can get a free unit there.

What unit does he want? The one beside Seohyun’s

He smiled. He likes it when he sees her irritated. What if he continues teasing her and makes her more irritated?  He felt that he’s safe with Seohyun because he won’t be seduced by her, and it looks like she won’t even like him. What would be her reaction if she knew that they will always see each other? He grinned. He’ll receive a cold welcoming from her for sure.

Seohyun was waiting for a taxi when a car stopped in front of her. And she knew the owner of that car, it was Jinwoon. He also works as a travel agent. She could buy her own car anytime but she doesn’t want to. There was one time when she practiced driving, and she almost bumped a puppy. What if it was a person? As expected she failed on the driving test.

Jinwoon wants her to ride with him, but she signalled him that it’s okay, no thanks. But still, he got off his car.

“No thanks, Jinwoon.”

“Are you sure?”

She smiled at him. Jinwoon is handsome and nice. And they are friends for a not really a long time.

“Yes. Maybe your girlfriend will get mad.”

“Actually, I’m single right now.” He said.

“Oh really? But you’ll get back together for sure.”

“I doubt it. She replaced me with a richer guy.” He said then smiled bitterly.

She tapped his shoulder trying to make him feel better.

“Oh, well, I have to go.” He said.

“Okay, take care.”

Jinwoon nodded before he went inside his car. She then decided to just walk; besides Cho Towers is not far from where she’s working. While walking she thought, Relationships these days don’t last that’s why there are a lot of broken hearted like her.

After five minutes, she was now in the lobby of Cho Towers. She was about to press the up button of the elevator when a familiar guy went to her. The guy looked... mad? Her eyes widened because she could not believe. The man was none other than Kyuhyun.

“So, you’re going out with him?”

She looked at him, clueless. She doesn’t know what he’s talking about. She didn’t answer and waited for the elevator to open. It was unexpected seeing him there. Why is he here? Does he have a girl staying here in Cho Towers?

Obviously.

Kyuhyun stood beside her, “Well, you’re beautiful. But guys like him; they want girls with big s. Believe me.”

She glared at him. “Excuse me?” then looked at her chest.

“As your friend, I’m warning you.”

The elevator then opened. They both went inside. Their arms touched accidentally. The sensation she felt was weird, And wonderful. She pushed the fifth floor button. She wished that some people will also get inside the elevator besides her and this arrogant man who just came out from nowhere.

“Are we close? As I remembered, we’re not friends. And what are you doing here? Don’t dare insult my... you know what I mean.”

“Whether you like it or not, Seohyun, we will be close. Especially now that we will always see each other.”

“You’re annoying.”

She really had no idea of what he’s talking about. She then decided to just ignore him. If she talks, he will continue to irritate her. So silent treatment is good. When they were on the fifth floor, she then hurriedly went to her unit. But she stopped in front of the door, and then looked back. Kyuhyun was still following her, and also stood on a unit beside hers.

“Are you stalking me? Why? No woman is hitting on you right now and you choose to bug me?” She said, glaring at him.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He said innocently, and then pushed the lock button of the unit beside hers. The door opened.

So, he is not really following her. The person staying beside her unit is the reason why he’s here. But she froze. That unit beside hers is vacant!

“Oh, I forgot to tell you. Starting from now, we’re neighbours.” Kyuhyun then grinned that made her more irritated.

“Wow, lucky me.”
