3 tasks?

Reconciled concert (repost)
“Jaejoong, I need to show you something.” I saw his face stiffened. I smiled and held onto his hand. I brought it up to my neck, where something lies. Jaejoong gasped. “You...” he said as I smiled. Putting a lot of force in his hand and I heard it snap. I could tell he was shock...
End of Jaebin’s POV

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yoochun’s POV
The first thing that happened when I stepped into the house is having Omma shouting in my face, asking me to get married. It’s been like this ever since Jaebin left for Japan with Jaejoong to clear her mind. “Omma. I know.” I said as I dragged myself to the dining table where appa was already there, seated, waiting for Omma and I.
I rushed through dinner and locked myself in my room, rushing through unfinished designs. I was so caught up with work that I didn’t notice that I have already spent 4 hours sitting on my work desk’s chair until my phone rang. “Yoboseyo.” I picked it up without looking at who the caller is.
“Park Yoochun.” The other party said and I dropped my pencil, looking at the clock, 11pm. “Seulgi. I…” But I was stopped by her. “Yoochun, Don’t get too caught up in work until you fall sick.” She said gently like how she usually sound like. “I lost track of time. I really need a girlfriend like you to keep me healthy” I joked and I could hear her giggling on the other side. “It’s good that you promised to call me every day at 11pm sharp or else I’d have to call you.” I could hear her smiling through her tone.
“I’ll call you back when I’m done showering.” I suggested since now I realised how sticky I feel. “Sure.” With that, both of us hung up. Seulgi is the best girl any guy could ask for. She’s rich but very gentle, not spoilt. She cares about others more than herself. Others I don’t only mean myself. Friends and family are included. She doesn’t spend all her time sitting at home, doing spa. She works. Although at her father’s company, she’s still working. She started from a very small position and climbed to her current position, head designer.
Her father owns a interior design company. She is one of the head designers and ever employee respects her as she cares for them and doesn’t make impossible demands. When I was done showering, I kept my work and sat on my bed, calling Seulgi. “Yoochun.” She said and I could tell immediately something was bothering her. One problem, nothing bothers her. “What’s wrong?” I asked, knowing there’s a high chance she won’t say anything. “It’s nothing.” Ok now I’m sure she’s hiding something from me and it is a very serious thing. “Are you free tomorrow?” I tried to change the subject. “Apart from a meeting in the afternoon, I’m free.” Talking till 12 mid night, we wished each other goodnight before heading to bed knowing that the next day, we will still meet each other.
Running down the stairs, “Morning, Omma.” I said and grabbed a piece of toast off the table before running towards the door. “Bye Omma.” I closed the door before she was able to speak. Getting into my car, I used my wireless headset, calling my secretary. “Soo young, get me a bagel and coffee on your way to work. If you’re reaching the office, get it for me downstairs. Thanks.” I drove with one hand and munched on my toast which will never make me full. To escape my Omma’s nagging on getting married yet again, I had to run out of the house. This is my routine ever since Jaebin went Japan.
When I reached my office, I was greeted by Soo young. “Your coffee and Bagel is on the table.” She said with a smile before I nodded my head and closed my door. I took a sip of coffee before pulling out my phone, calling a certain someone.
“Yoboseyo” The other party said. “Ya! Park Jaebin, you’re killing me.” I exclaimed. “Yoochun. No need to shout. Even if I’m not deaf, you’re going to make me deaf.” I heard a soft chuckle behind and I knew it was Jaejoong. “What? I need to forget the past to move on without any hurtful feelings” She sounded totally fine to me. I pushed the thought aside before going back to the main topic. “You know Omma has been going on about me getting married ever since you left. I am like hiding from her every single day.” I heard her laugh this time. “Yoochun. You’re their only son. Of course they would want you to get married.” She was holding back her laugh. I can tell. “Anyway. Just come back soon. I want to live to see the next sunrise.” I said. “We’re going back soon. Don’t worry. Don’t miss me. Bye.” She hung up.
I ate my breakfast as I did my work. Time was passing slowly since I really wanted to know what was on Seulgi’s mind. Minutes passed like days. I couldn’t draw anything since my mind was so focused on what will happen tonight. Crushing papers after papers, there was a knock on his door. ‘That’s weird. Soo-young didn’t call me saying there’s someone at the door’ Yoochun thought. “Come in.” Soo young was at the door. “Boss, time for lunch.” I looked at her. I wasn’t really hungry since breakfast was keeping me full for the time being. “I think I’d pass.” I said but she didn’t leave. “Miss Seulgi will scold me if you don’t.” Since I didn’t want to make life hard for her, I nodded my head. “Buy something light.” I said. She nodded before leaving.
My phone rang. It was Seulgi. “We’re having dinner together right?” She asked. “Yah. New York Deli?” I said. “I like that.” She said and we hung up. Soo Young came back not long after with Sandwich and I left it at one side since I was not hungry yet. I slumped on the table since there was nothing for me to do. Taking vogue from the corner of my table, I flipped through it page by page. It was so boring. Giving up, I took a nap on the couch.
“Boss, Boss.” Someone shook me and it’s Soo young. “Miss Seulgi called a few minutes ago.” I looked at my watch and cursed at myself. It’s fifteen minutes to 4pm when I promised to fetch her at 3pm. I took my coat and ran out of the office. “I have something to do. I won’t be back till tomorrow. Knock off at 5pm.” I said and Soo young gave a bow as the lift door closed.
When I reached Seulgi’s office, I saw her sitting in the lobby. I ran there, panting like crazy. “I’m sorry. I fell asleep.” I said and she smiled standing up. “Fell asleep during work? Yoochun, you’re good.” She joked as I opened the car door for her.
We arrived at New York deli shortly. It is our favourite restaurant. The atmosphere was good, it has a very good touch on the ambiance and the service and food are the best. “Table for 2.” We came here often that most of the waiter and waitresses knew us. “The usual?” Seohyun asked and both of us nodded. “You look different today.” Seulgi said and I looked at her. She looked as if nothing had happened. “There’s something on your mind.” The smile on her face faded and she looked at me. “There’s nothing.” She smiled yet again. However, she can never fool me.
“There is something and I know Seulgi. You can fool others but not me.” I said my voice stern. I could see that her eyes turned gentle again. “Appa wants me to get married.” She said. It was a shocking statement. I never thought the thing that would bother her would be about marriage. “Then let’s get married.” I said and she looked at me. “He said if we were to get married, you’d have to come to do 3 task.” She said and that was what alarmed me the most. “Tasks?” I almost stuttered. She nodded her head and our orders came. Both of us just looked at our plates, not meeting each other’s gaze. It was so silent, I wasn’t used to it. I had totally no appetite. Thinking about 3 tasks, I don’t know what kind of challenges would he give.
“I’ll do it.” I said and I heard her gasp. “The tasks are not easy. Are you sure?” She asked and I nodded. “We’ll go today. After this.” I said and she smiled. “Yoochun, I put my trust in you.” She held my hand. In no time, we were standing in front of her house. I gulped when I stepped into the gates. One thing I’m puzzled about is that why doesn’t he agree when he and Appa was the one who wanted to set us up in the first place.
“Appa, Yoochun’s here.” Seulgi popped her head into a door. I heard a gruff voice calling us to wait in the living room and we did what we were told to. A few minutes later, Mr. Bae came out and took a seat on the sofa. “You’re asking for my daughter’s hand?” He asked and I paused. “Yes.” He smiled and it doesn’t seem good to me. “Alright. Now the 3 tasks.” I stiffened, but Seulgi held my hand and it seems like nothing now.
“Come with me son.” He said as he guided me away from Seulgi, into his study room. I looked at Seulgi and she gave me a reassuring smile. We sat down and he smiled yet again. “What will happen if Seulgi were to die?” He asked and I thought for a while. “I’ll never get married ever again.” I said firmly and he nodded his head in approval. “How many kids would you want?” His questions were getting weirder and weirder. “I don’t mind. If Seulgi wants a dozen, A dozen it is. If she doesn’t want, then I’m also ok with it.” He nodded yet again. “last question. Why do you want to marry Seulgi?” this was something I knew long ago. “We’re both deeply in love and there’s a trust bond between us and it’s a bond that will never break even if we die.” He smiled and stood up. “You’re free to leave.” He said and I was shocked was that the 3 task he was talking about?
We walked back to the living room and Seulgi stood up once she saw us. “He passed the test.” Seulgi squealed and came to hug me. When we pulled away, she looked at her father. “Thank you so much Appa.” She kissed him on the cheek before he motioned us to go to my house t break the good news to my parents especially my omma.
When I reached my house with Seulgi, Omma was standing at the door as usual. “Yoochun, you...” She stopped what she was about to say when she saw Seulgi. “Auntie.” She gave a slight bow and Omma bowed back before inviting her in to take a seat. She motioned the maids to get her a cup of tea.
“Seulgi, what bring you here with Yoochun?” Normally Omma doesn’t ask Donghae that question, so why is she asking Seulgi that now? Seulgi looked at me and I looked at her. She smiled and I did the same. “Why are the both of you smiling at each other? Maybe I should give you some privacy.” She was about to stand up when Seulgi pulled her to sit down.
“Omma, calm down. It’s good news.” I smiled and she looked at me. “What good news? You getting married is the only news that is good.” Omma said as Seulgi and I looked at each other and smiled yet again...
