Bad memories shared [EDITED]

Reconciled concert (repost)
Jaejoong’s eyes were blue and it was watery. What added on to it was that he had a drop of tear sliding down his cheeks...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Jaejoong!” I said and sat down on the chair beside him. He wiped the drop of tear away quickly and smiled brightly again. However, I can see that his eyes were not showing the same expression as his face as a whole.
“I’m ok.” He said as he looked at the piano keys pressing one of them. “You’re not. Guy’s don’t cry so easily.” I said and he continued looking at the piano, pressing random keys. I placed my hand on his shoulder and I notice drops of tears were found on the piano. I stooped down lower to see Jaejoong crying silently. He didn’t make a sound, but tears flowed out of his eyes uncontrollably.
“Jaejoong.” I said softly, shaking him lightly, but he just sat there not moving. “I’ll call Omma.” I turned back wanting to leave when Jaejoong held on my wrist. “Don’t.” He said with his voice all hoarse, tears choked in his throat. I turned back to look at him looking at me, with his cheeks stained with tears.
I pulled him softly to sit on the floor so we could talk. “Are you really alright? If you’re not, we could stop for the day.” I said and he looked up, shaking his head. “I’m fine. It’s just memories got back to me.” He said with a sad smile pinned on his face. I patted his back softly. “It’s ok.” I said and he just turned away.
“I’m quiet because music is my source of communication...” He started. However, knowing this is a sensitive topic, “Jaejoong, it’s ok if you don’t want to say.” I said, causing him to turn around to look at me. “I need to lift this from my heart long ago.” He said and continued where I cut him from.
“My father never approved of me getting obsessed over playing the piano. He always says that studies are more important. I was always top in class, doing my best for studies. Piano has been my source of entertainment. However, my father got more and more strict on my studies, thinking that what I got is not enough. Playing the piano got to me more and more as I was so stress that piano was something not allowed in the house. My father threw away my piano allowing me no choice but to use the one in school. One day, my music teacher heard me play the piano, saying that I have the potential. Then she applied for a Vienna scholarship for me. Omma has always been supportive of me playing the piano. She then secretly agreed and sent me to Vienna. Ever since, I have not contact my father. He’s the one that made me lose all my voice in front of him. I have always wanted to play the piano in front of him, showing him that even without studies, I can also earn money, I can also do my family proud.” He said as he started crying again.
I went up to him and pat his shoulder. “You’re father will get to understand you soon. When you perform, you invite him. Not in person, but ask Dongho to. Since the concert doesn’t state your name, he will only see you when you’re on stage. Do the best for him. Show him what you’ve always wanted to. He will definitely be proud of you.” I said with a warm smile. He stopped crying and gave a smile. A smile which he really meant. He gave me a hug. “Thank you Jaebin, thank you.” He said and I pat his back, giving him the comfort I can give.
He pulled back a while later, wiping his tears away. “Sorry for making you hear my complains.” He smiled and I shook my head. “It’s a good this that I’m able to help.” I smiled and went out, getting him a cup of water.
Practise that day was not so tedious. Due to the burst of emotions Jaejoong had, he went home earlier to rest, leaving me alone to practise with the CD. When I was too tired to continue, I sat on the floor panting.
I took my phone which I left above the piano and looked at it. It was already 8pm. I was not hungry and what puzzled me was Donghae didn’t call or leave a message and Omma didn’t call me down for dinner. It was like Donghae could hear me as a message arrived and it was from Donghae. ‘Baby, I’m stuck at work and can’t visit you. I’ll see you tomorrow. Don’t miss me too much. Love you -Hae.’ I smiled at the message and headed down stairs. The house was dark and I was a little puzzled where Appa and Omma were? I headed downstairs and switched on the lights to find dinner on the table covered. I then saw a not. ‘Jaebin-ah, Omma and Appa went for a function. We’ll be home late. Don’t practise so hard till you forget dinner. –Omma.’ I sighed and sat on the table, staring at the food. It was a lot of food to start off with.
Since I can’t finish, I decided to ask Jaejoong if he wanted to join me. I gave him a call and he say he’ll be here after he’s done showering. He arrived in 15 minutes and we had a fun dinner. He was not so quiet anymore. Suddenly, the lights flicker and everything went black. I screamed, dropping my utensils and covered my ears. “Jaebin.” Jaejoong exclaimed as I felt myself shiver in my seat. I pulled my leg to my chest and sat there not moving, not talking.
End of Jaebin’s POV
Jaejoong’s POV
I went home and calm down after practising with Jaebin. I pulled out my phone and called Dongho. “Dongho, bring 2 tickets to my parent’s place. Ask for Kim Seung mi. Give it to my Omma. Tell her that this is my debut concert in Korea and ask her to bring my Appa along, but don’t tell him that it’s my concert. I really want Appa to see my accomplishment.” Dongho agreed and we hung up. I looked at the clock and its only 6pm. I covered my eyes with my palm as I sat in the living room, trying to rest a little before showering.
It seems like I slept for too long. I got woken up by a phone called. I answered it without looking at who it was. “Yoboseyo.” I said.
“It’s me Jaebin.” The other side said and I sat up straight away with my eyes wide.
“Oh Jaebin. What brings you to call me at this time?” I asked, hiding a yawn.
“I was asking if you would like to join me for dinner. Apparently Omma prepared so much food and I can’t finish. If you haven’t had dinner you could come.” It seems like once she brought up dinner, my stomach growled.
“Sure. I’ll be there after I shower.” She agreed and we hung up. I was done in 15 minutes and went over. We were eating happily when the lights flicker and everything went black. Jaebin screamed and I heard utensils being dropped on the floor. I could see her covering her ears, looking down and she pulled her knees up so that she was scrunched into a ball.
I made my way towards her slowly. I placed my hand on her should and one of her hand made her way to my shirt, tugging on it tightly. “Jaebin” I said softly and nothing came from her. When I looked at her closely, I can see her shaking violently. What was happening? I asked myself. I stoop down to take a closer look at her face and I could see tears flowing down.
I carried her to the living room and sat down, placing her on my lap since she changed her position when I was carrying her. She s her arms around my neck and placed her head on my shoulder. I had no choice but to make do with it till someone comes back. “Should I call yoochun for you?” I asked her softly and she nodded. I pulled out my phone and called Yoochun.
“Yoochun, Jaejoong here. Your sister is very scared and traumatised about something and she cannot stop shivering.” I said.
“Did the lights flicker?” He asked with his voice all anxious. I could hear things dropping at his side.
“Yes it did and it went dark. Now we’re sitting in the dark.” I said.
“Alright. I’ll be home soon. Help me take care of her in the mean time.” He said and hung up. I placed my phone back in my pocket and pat her back softly. I could still feel her shivering. I wanted to shift a little bit when she held on my neck tighter. “Oppa, don’t leave me alone.” Her voice was filled with fear and agony. I placed both my hands on her waist. “Oppa won’t leave you.” She then relaxed and her grip loosen.
We stayed like that for around 15 minutes. I felt her breathing became deep and slow. Her grip was loose and I figured out that she was asleep. I then carried her up to her room in the dark. Entering her room, I settled her down on her bed, feeling her grip on my neck fall off and her hands on the bed. I then tucked her in and sat there. The girl who was comforting me in less than 10 hours ago was suffering because of her own traumatic experience. I guessed so through the way she acts.
She puts up a strong front all the time and never would I expect she would have a secret hidden deep inside her. I then heard the door opening. I turned to find Yoochun panting. He ran to her side and heaved a sigh of relief. “How’s she?” He asked me, gazing at her with worried eyes.
“She fell asleep. She should be fine.” I said and Yoochun nodded, mouthing a thank you. I nodded again and went downstairs, to try to see how to fix the lights so that it would switch back on. I tried turning off the switch and flicked it back on and it worked. Everything returned to normal. I headed upstairs to see Yoochun caressing her cheeks.
“Yoochun, the lights are fixed.” I said and Yoochun nodded, turning to look at me. I took a seat beside him as he just continued to look at her. We stayed silent for some time before Yoochun stood up, pulling me along. We headed inside his room. He offered me to sit down but I rejected. “She’s been like that ever since the time we went to Australia and she accidentally locked herself in their work shed. The lights in there never stopped flickering. She got lock inside for hours. When we found her, she was unconscious. Ever since then, when lights flicker, she would hyperventilate and start shivering and scared. None of us know why she ended up inside. The owner said that the work shed was the oldest part of the house and none of them really used it so it was in very bad condition. That’s why we didn’t search the inside till we searched everywhere. That was the last place we went.” Yoochun explained and I listened closely.
“I’m glad you were with her today. I can’t imagine what will happen if she was alone.” Yoochun smiled. “It’s nothing. I’m glad to be able to help.” I smiled and Yoochun gave me a pat on my shoulder. “This sister of mine is everything to me. Everyone in the family loves her a lot and none of them want her to feel this way ever again. We had actually thought through the years, seeing the doctor, it would get better, but it’s still the same. After an incident of relapse, she would stay quiet for a few days. We’re always worried for her. But she would turn back to normal. So I think these few days, Practise with her will be more non- verbal.” I nodded my head and both Yoochun and I jerked up as we heard a high pitch scream...
