Jiyeon’s POV

So, we arrived at the rooftop and I told Hyomin what I planned to do. I knew she would freak out, but I didn’t expect her reaction to be that big. “WHAT? NOOOOO! JIYEON AH! Pleasethinkright. Youcan’tjointhatbunchofjerks, andalso, onlyguysareallowedfortheaudition, Idon’tseehowyoulooklikeaguy.” She stared at me while talking in a rushed manner. “Hey Hyomin ah. Chill chill. Please don’t rap, you are speaking too fast right now for me to comprehend what you are saying.” I stared at her in disbelief. I guess she was too worked up so that’s why she started talking like as if she was rapping. But after hearing what I said, she started to speak slower. “What I just said was please think right. You can’t join that bunch of jerks, and also, only guys are allowed for the audition, I don’t see how you look like a guy.”

“I am not doing this for fun Hyomin. You know how I am like. And don’t try getting me out of this; you know I won’t change my mind after making a decision.” I replied. Hyomin knows it. This is me. Whenever I made a decision, it means I must do it. I am the type of stubborn girl who does everything that I want. Hyomin sighed and replied. “Alright…But can I know the reason?” I nodded and looked at her. “It’s for you and Junhyung. You know how agitated I was, after seeing what those Apink girls have done to you two? I mean, the two of you made it seemed like nothing happened and just lead life as it was. But I can’t take it. I won’t sit down and have a cup of coffee after what have happened. I am going to make sure they apologize and yes, I mean what I said. “I spoke in such a firm voice that made Hyomin shocked upon hearing what I just said.

So in the end, she just gave me a worried look and replied. “Alright. But you know there are other ways to …” she was going to continue talking, but was cut off by me. “If you are going to say there are other ways to solve this, I know. But I am going by my own decision. So if you still have the idea of asking me to quit this idea, just drop it.” She kept quiet for a while before answering. “You have to let me help you if you are going to do this. I am not going to let you suffer all these stupid things a lot.”

So this is why Hyomin is my best friend. No matter what I do, or how foolish my decisions may seem, she will always agree with it and lent me support and make me feel better. I nodded and said: “So, what should we do now?” She gave me a smile, and pulled my hand. “Let’s change your gender first.” And I got dragged to the shopping mall with her. We bought wigs and even clothes for guys, so that I could have enough clothes to wear when I transform into a guy. While we were shopping for clothes in the guy’s section, we saw 7 familiar figures walking towards us. “Infinite.” I muttered under my breath. I was going to run away since I can’t let them know what I am currently planning, but Hyomin doesn’t seem to notice the guys and in the end, they called out to us. I was mentally scolding myself and praying to god that they won’t know what had happened. But luckily for me, Hyomin was there. And instantly, I got saved.

WooHyun’s POV

After the stupid conversation with the guys about Hyomin and Jiyeon in the practice room, we proceeded to practice for another 2 hours before leaving the dancing studio. “Hey, let’s go out since it’s Friday and there is no school tomorrow!” Hoya suggested. All the other members agreed to and so did I. At first, I was going to reject the idea since it has a been a long day for me, but I realize that I need some to keep doing stuffs in order to get the load off my mind, so I agreed.

Sungyeol suggested going to the shopping mall that was near our school since he was hungry. Geez, that guy is always hungry for no reason. Before going to the food court, we dropped by the apparel shop for guys. While we were looking around, I spotted Hyomin and Jiyeon shopping for clothes. Well, it is actually kind of weird for girls to shop for guys clothes, unless, they are attached. For the next 5 minutes, I just stood there, like as if I was rooted to the ground, staring at them.

Myungsoo’s POV

It was a complete bore for me since I wasn’t really interested in shopping and looking around for clothes. So in the end, I decided to go somewhere far far away to wait for them until they are done with looking around. When I was about to leave, I saw WooHyun standing at one corner staring at somebody. It was kind of weird and abnormal to see him behaving like that since WooHyun is the type of guy that loves to doll up more than anything. Even though he is a guy, he is actually quite vain sometimes. I looked over to the direction where he was staring at and I saw Jiyeon and Hyomin.  Not being able to comprehend the meaning of his actions, I couldn’t help but ask him what’s going on.

I walked over to him and tapped on his shoulder. Well, he seems shocked for some reason. “Hey bro, what are you doing there? Spying over someone huh?” He gave me a totally shocked look and kept on denying. “ No No No! I am not spying over someone. I am just LOOKING at someone.” He emphasized on the word looking. “Alright chill! Hyomin or Jiyeon.” I asked while looking towards the direction of the girls. “Hyomin.” His answer was definite, but after a while, he tried changing his answer. “I..I mean I am looking at both! Not only Hyomin!” and he avoided my gaze. Something is wrong. Really wrong.

I kept quiet not knowing what to answer. And because of my silence, WooHyun started acting awkward. “Not Hyomin! Alright?” He kept reminding me this. “Ok! Stop saying it already!” I stared at him while replying. He nodded and acted like he was talking to me; but actually, his gaze was always fixed on the two girls. Geez, I really don’t know what he is thinking. I turned around to look at Jiyeon’s direction and I saw Jiyeon looking at me. I smiled at her but yet, she returned my smile with a frightened look. It made me felt like she did something wrong to me.

While I was looking at Jiyeon, WooHyun patted my shoulder. “Hey L, do you think I should go and apologize or something? To Hyomin and Jiyeon. Because of the matter that we were talking about today in the practice room. Remember?” I nodded and reply. “I remember. Just go and apologize then. It is the right thing to do anyway.” So upon hearing my answer, WooHyun started walking towards Hyomin and Jiyeon’s direction, and I followed suit. Every step we moved forward, Jiyeon looked even more panicked. Oh, and Hyomin didn’t notice us at all. She was busying choosing clothes and all. She didn’t notice us until we were about to reach them.

Hyomin’s POV

I was busying choosing clothes for Jiyeon that I didn’t notice what happened. I called out to Jiyeon to ask her opinions on the clothes but no matter how many times I call out to her, there was no reply. Finally, I looked up at her to see that she was looking in another direction. I followed her gaze and saw those infinite guys walking over to us. WooHyun and Myungsoo, if I am not wrong. Well, I am not really interested in them so I didn’t even bother trying to remember their names.

I shook Jiyeon’s shoulder in order to get her attention. Finally, she turned to me and gave me a blank look. I place the clothes back into their respective places and pulled Jiyeon out of the mall. There are several reasons why I did that. As much as I hated those guys, I didn’t mind staying there to hear what they have to say. But for now, that was impossible. We have to avoid as little contact with them as possible. This is to make sure that whatever Jiyeon is planning will go smoothly. If those guys there see Jiyeon shopping for guy’s clothes and wearing the same exact clothes, they will bound to get suspicious over it. So in order to make sure that nothing like that happens, I have no choice but to play hide and seek with them.

After the encounter with them in the mall, WooHyun had tried to talk to me for a few times, but before he had the chance of doing so, I am already meters away from him. Other than that, what we did was just study and practice. After school hours, we will always rent a music studio from the school to practice singing and dancing. Well, to be exact, Jiyeon’s singing and dancing. But it wasn’t that hard, since Jiyeon had the experience of singing and dancing in a dance group before, it was a piece of cake. All she needed was practice and more practice. Finally, the day of the audition came, we had everything prepared. Every single aspect of it, and every single question that the people had, we already thought of an answer to tackle it. And since Infinite won’t be looking at the participant’s particulars, it was kind of safe then.  We waited outside the music room that infinite always used to practice in, and waited for our turn. Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting, Park JiWoo was being called. And yes, Park JiWoo is Park Jiyeon. And Park Jiyeon is Park JiWoo.
