Hyomin’s POV

I could feel the awkward atmosphere right now. None of us was talking and what we did was just walk. Unable to keep quiet anymore, I stopped walking and instantly, WooHyun stopped walking too since he was holding onto my hand. He faced me and asked. “Is anything wrong?” I held my hand up to his eye level and said. “Can you please stop holding my hand? It kind of hurt.” Immediately he let go of my hand and apologized. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean it though.” I shook my head and started walking. He followed behind me quietly and there, the awkward atmosphere began again. I cursed him mentally in my mind and finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I turned behind to face him and folded my arms, staring at him.

WooHyun’s POV

This is awkward. She doesn’t know what to say and I don’t know what to say either. But this is the first time that the two of us had some time together alone. Normally, it would either be Myungsoo and Jiyeon with us or the T-ara members with us. OR, Junhyung would stick along, and that’s the most annoying thing on earth. After releasing Hyomin’s hand, she walked ahead of me, and all I could do was follow behind her quietly and let thoughts run through my mind. For some reason, I felt that she detested me, and wanted me gone. Especially today, since she didn’t even allowed me to hold her hand like I normally did, and she didn’t even want to walk beside me anymore. I sighed and tried judging myself if I was really that annoying.

All this while, I was walking with my head drooping down, so I didn’t realize that Hyomin stopped walking and was in fact staring at me. When I realized that, I started stuttering. “Wh…What’s wrong?” She continued staying in her position and after a moment of silence, she started talking. “You have something to say?” Wow, this girl has psychic power, and I mean it. I was going to ask her if I was really that annoying to her. I gulped and said. “Yeah, I do. I just want to ask … Do you feel annoyed by me?”

At first, her expression was like are-you-seriously-joking? But after a while, her expression began to soften and she started giggling. I don’t get her, I am all serious here and yet she is laughing there. “What are you doing?” She stopped her giggling and replied. “I am just amused by your question. You ain’t annoying, and you never will be.” And she flashed me her killer smile, and yes, I melted. She placed her hand on my face and started gently caressing it. “Nam WooHyun, you are too precious to be annoying to me.” There, my smile appeared again. Just one sentence from her can make all my worries go away.

“I will wait for you forever, no matter how many times you reject me; I am still going to like you and nobody else.” She shook her head when she heard me saying this. Gosh, is this her way of rejecting me again? “Who says I am going to reject you and when did I reject you? The last time when you confess, I didn’t even had a chance to say out my point and you just deduced that I didn’t like you. Remember?” I started thinking back and well, it seems true though. I thought that Hyomin doesn’t like me so I kind of like rejected myself. I sighed and nodded. Wait, what? She isn’t going to reject me? What did she meant by that?

I looked at her and saw her smiling. “Looks like you figured it out. Yes, Nam Woo Hyun, I ain’t going to reject you because I like you.” By right, I should be jumping and shouting like a mad man, but instead, I stood rooted to the ground, refusing to believe that whatever I heard was true.

Hyomin’s POV

So his reaction wasn’t what I expected. Did something go wrong? I looked at him and said. “What’s wrong?” He gave me a fake smile and said. “I don’t know why, but I can’t believe it. I mean you have never shown affection towards me, and now… I can’t really determine that you really do have feelings for me.” I sighed and shook my head. How insecure is this guy actually. Without realizing what I was doing, I placed both of my hands on his face and leaned closer to him, giving him a kiss on his lips. A kiss so real that even I myself was shocked by it.

After a minute of staying in that position, I broke the kiss and started fanning myself. Oh my god, why is it so hot today? I saw WooHyun touching his lips and smiling and I can’t help but shake my head. “So, you believe now?” and he nodded his head. “I’m sorry if I hurt you in anyway, but it’s just due to bad past experience. I didn’t think that a guy would make my heart leap again, but yes, WooHyun, you did it.”

He came over, took my hand started shooting questions. “So, what now?” I laughed and said. “What do you think?” “Well, I think, we are going to lead a happy life with each other from today onwards. With Park Hyomin being Nam Woo Hyun’s property and Nam Woo Hyun being Park Hyomin’s property. What do you think about it?” I nodded my head and said. “I like the idea of it!” and we laughed.

After that, he just sent me home and kissed me goodbye. Oh well, I am able to live my life happily with him from today onwards, or so I thought.
