Author’s POV

Jiyeon and Hyomin were seen hanging out at their usual place after school. Since there was still time before Jiyeon’s practice with infinite, they would hang out and gossip. And since they thought that it was safe, Hyomin started asking. “Jiyeon ah, ain’t you tired of living as JiWoo some time?” Jiyeon nodded and said: “How can it not be tiring? All the lies, all the practicing. It is tiring me out physically and mentally.” Just as Hyomin was about to reply, a voice could be heard. “If that’s the case, then why are you still doing this?”

WooHyun’s POV

In order to confront Jiyeon, I followed her and Hyomin every single moment in school. And finally, I got the chance to. I followed them up to the rooftop and started eavesdropping. When I heard Hyomin asking Jiyeon about JiWoo, I knew this was it. Jiyeon was really JiWoo. But I had to listen to the answer regarding Hyomin’s question first. I could hear Jiyeon reply. “How can it not be tiring? All the lies, all the practicing. It is tiring me out physically and mentally.” When I heard her reply, I couldn’t help but budge in and asked. “If that’s the case, then why are you still doing this?”

When I appeared, I saw Hyomin and Jiyeon’s shocked face. But I didn’t care much. “Tell me the reason! Explain!” But all Jiyeon did was kept quiet. In the end, Hyomin voiced out instead, but she didn’t use the tone that she always used to talk to me. She replied in a softer voice. “I am sorry for lying; I mean we are sorry for lying. But we had a reason why.” I was going to flare up when I saw Jiyeon and Hyomin being nervous, and fidgeting around. When I saw Hyomin’s face, I started to soften up. I sighed and went nearer to them and sat down. When Hyomin saw me sitting down, she did it too.

I looked at her and said: “Mind telling me the reason why you are doing this?” Jiyeon looked at Hyomin and Hyomin did the same. Finally, Jiyeon started speaking up. “I just did it for the sake of revenge. You know how Apink bullied us right? I was thinking of using infinite to seek revenge, but I gave up halfway since I didn’t bear to.” I stared at Jiyeon and scoffed. “So, you wanted to use us just for a stupid revenge? How stupid!” I was basically fuming with anger now. Infinite was something that was really important to me and I can’t believe the fact that some person just used it as a tool for revenge. I looked away and had the urge to curse when I felt someone touching my arms. “I’m sorry. We are sorry. We didn’t mean it. And now, she has another reason for doing so.” I turned around to see Hyomin looking at me with her puppy eyes, and she looked like she was going to cry.

Ok, does this girl have supernatural powers or what? Whenever I feel angry, she will be the one who cleans up the situation and make my anger go away. I stood up and stomped my feet. ‘Aish! Alright, I forgive you girls! But just make sure you don’t do anything that will harm infinite. Or else, you will get it.” When they heard my answer, they jumped in joy basically. I smiled when I saw their reaction.

Hyomin’s POV

At first, we were really shocked when we heard WooHyun’s voice and when we saw him barging him. But after a while, we gained his forgiveness and because of that, Jiyeon and I felt relieved and squealed out of joy. And without realizing it, I gave WooHyun a hug and thanked him. I didn’t release him until I felt Jiyeon pulling me away. “Yah, Hyomin! You are killing him! His face is totally red now! It must be because you were suffocating him and he can’t breathe!” I panicked when I heard Jiyeon. I began fanning him to make him relax and so that he could breathe much more easily.  He thanked me and smiled. Well, this guy wasn’t as bad as I thought him to be in the first place.

Just then, I thought of a question.”WooHyun-ssi, can I ask you something? Is there a reason why you came here at the time when Jiyeon and I were talking about this matter?” He nodded and replied. “Please call me WooHyun without the formalities. Well, it’s actually because of LeeJoon Hyung. He saw JiWoo, and he asked me who he was and so I told him the truth. And in the end, he told me that Jiyeon doesn’t have a brother, and there, I began my investigation. And also because of Jiyeon’s necklace. I saw it on Jiyeon when she was disguising at JiWoo yesterday.  It was actually kind of weird to see the same necklace appear on the two different people. And since the necklace has the name Yeonnie engraved on it, I knew it was a unique necklace, so it was kind of impossible to have the same engravements on two different necklaces, so thus I kind of suspected Jiyeon. And in order to find out the truth, I followed you girls here, and you know what happened next.”

We were really engrossed in his explanation. When he was done explaining, I started scolding LeeJoon. It is always like this. Whenever he is around, nothing good will happen, and in the end, bad things happens. Geez, can he just disappear into thin air and disappear from our lives from today onwards? Just then, Jiyeon spoke up. “Do you know anything about Yeonnie? I mean did anybody like talk about it before?” WooHyun hesitated a while before shaking his head. I have never heard anyone talking about it. Is something wrong?” Jiyeon shook her head.

I turned to WooHyun. “Hey, thank you. Really. But can I trust you to keep this a secret? I don’t want people to know about this and make use of the chance to diss Jiyeon.” He nodded his head. “Thank you again.” And I smiled.

WooHyun’s POV

I felt like I was going to die when Hyomin hugged me. I could feel my blood rushing. Ok, so this is the feeling of being excited, or what? I just couldn’t get all this feelings right. They are just making me insane. Despite hugging me for quite long, and the fact that my face was tomato red, she still continued hugging me, until Jiyeon pulled her away and told her I was being suffocated. Feeling apologetic, she began fanning me to cool me down and perhaps, make me feel better. I looked over to Jiyeon and she gave me an OK sign. Alright, this girl is just full of ideas sometimes.

After that, I started explaining the process and there, Hyomin was scolding LeeJoon in front of me even though she knew that his cousin was right beside her. I laughed at her reaction and that was when Jiyeon started asking me about the word Yeonnie. I was going to tell her what I told Myungsoo but then I remembered him telling me that he wants her to find out about him herself. So in the end, I lied about the necklace and luckily, she believed me. So in the end, Hyomin asked me to keep this a matter a secret, and of course, how could I refuse her? I would be nuts if I did that.

After that, we went to the practice room acting like nothing has happened.

Author’s POV

The three of them thought that their secret was safe, and nothing like this would happen again. But who knows, there was a fourth person at the scene. An unknown fourth person.

“Tsk, acting as a guy huh? I will make your life miserable because of this, Park Jiyeon and Park Hyomin. I am going to pay you back for that day.”
