Jiyeon’s POV

So what mess did I get myself into by agreeing to join the competition? It didn’t seem ridiculous when I agreed to it when APINK said that infinite was one of the bet. But thinking back, it was actually quite childish, and what’s worse was that Hyomin also agreed to it. HYOMIN! THE HYOMIN THAT HATED ATTENTION, HATED BETS, HATED EVERYTHING, agreed to this . Well, I guess it wasn’t that bad after all, but then, hell has just started.

For the next few days, we did nothing but practice, practice and practice. We started digging out our old songs and started practicing the songs. After a while, we decided on 4 of our old songs and since it wasn’t enough, we used Hyomin’s song bank and started choosing. I was practically amazed by her talent in writing songs, I could never have written a song. After deciding, we finally came up with 6 songs, and started practicing for it. In these days, I never had a chance to talk to Myungsoo at all. By right, we would have been able to talk to each other in school, but it seems that Eunjung always appears at the wrong time and drag me away. She even accompanied me home and took away my phone. I felt like I was staying in jail, no contacting other, no connections with others, and my life just repeats its cycle every day. I sighed just by the thought of it, but I guess I had no choice.

Myungsoo’s POV

Damn it, I miss Jiyeon so much. I just didn’t have the chance to meet up with her. Eunjung pulls her away every time I see her and I could get through her phone. What will happen if they lose, does that mean I can’t meet Jiyeon anymore? Gosh, my head hurts a lot now because of this.

Finally, the day of the competition came. It has been 1 week since I last saw Jiyeon and I saw her change a lot. Maybe not a lot in other people’s eyes, but I felt that she has grown skinnier and that breaks my heart. The infinite members gathered at the auditorium in order to watch their so-called “Showdown”. When we got there, the auditorium was almost filled up. Well this was new, since the students in the school have never been showed interest in these kinds of stuffs. But oh well, who cares. We got into the seats and waited patiently for it to start.

WooHyun’s POV

I got to admit that my mouth dropped wide open when I saw the amount of people in the auditorium. It seems like the whole school was in it. But we didn’t cared much and just sat on the seats and waited. Finally, after 5 minutes of waiting, one person came out from the backstage and started speaking. “Hello people, this is Ham Eunjung from T-ara. Thank you all for coming down and witness this breathtaking moment. So let’s just cut the words and start performing alright?” screams were heard all over and once again Eunjung disappeared into the curtains and music started playing. Looks like it was APINK who gets to start first, they performed Hush. Well, I could hear those fan boys shouting, but well, I ain’t interested. Not one bit. I could feel like eyelids dropping just by listening to their song. Finally, after a long time, they finally ended. And there, it was T-ara’s turn. Myungsoo and I stood up straight getting ready to see them perform for myself.

I have seen Jiyeon dancing and singing and she was quite good, but Hyomin? I have never seen her singing or dancing at all, and it kinds of worries me, but I was proved wrong. They came out in white and started dancing to the music. If I wasn’t wrong, the song was called Day by Day. My eyes was glued to Hyomin all these while. Her rapping skills, dancing and singing skills was perfect. Wait, way more than perfect. I stood up and cheered on her name like as if she was a real idol. I could feel people staring at me, but who cares.

After them, APINK came out. Oh well, I fell asleep again. LOL. The cycle just repeats. When APINK performs, I go all restless and looks like I wanted to die, but when T-ara comes out, I go fanboying them all over. There was a stage where Hyomin and Chorong were having a y dance battle. I could feel my nose bleeding soon from all the iness. When I heard the guys of me shouting: “PARK HYOMIN, Y LADY BE MINE!” I felt like tearing the guy apart. Trust me, I really felt like doing so.

But I managed to calm down. But then, I could feel my blood rushing up my brain when I saw Junhyung on the stage with Hyomin. Actually Jiyeon was there too, but well, I don’t care that much. They were singing GNA’s a bitter day actually. Jiyeon took the singing part, whereas Junhyung and Hyomin took the rapping part. Ok, I am like totally jealous now. There was even a part when Junhyung held Hyomin’s hand. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THOSE HANDS ARE FOR ME YOU BASTARD. I literally scolded him in my mind. I was cursing him all the while when he was on stage. I didn’t even know that Junhyung can rap and why didn’t Hyomin ask me on stage? I would be more than happy to agree to it. Even though I don’t know how to rap, I can learn! Oh well, this, I am just going stay jealous here.

Finally, the battle ended and the results were announced. I was basically grasping Myungsoo’s hand when the results were about to be announced. “Yah! You gay! Stop holding my hand!” and Myungsoo threw my hand away. I gave him a deadly stare and returned my focus to the stage. “So… people, we shall announce the results now … and …. The winner is T – ARA!” and the girls were basically jumping up and down, and on the other side, APINK was looking glum.

This was actually a battle that had a result that was really obvious. Eunjung took the mic from the Mcee and said. “So, please remember what you promised us. GET AWAY FROM INFINITE and get a life!” We could clearly hear Naeun shout. “THIS ISN’T OVER!” and the crowd went ooo … and feeling embarrassed, the APINK girls went down the stage and walked away.  The T-ara girls thanked the crowd and went off the stage. The infinite guys rushed down and went to meet up and congratulate the girls. Just then Eunjung started talking. “Alright, Kim Myungsoo, sorry for taking Jiyeon for a week, she is yours now, do whatever you want with her!” and she pushed Jiyeon to Myungsoo, and he was clearly blushing. I was laughing at his state and he shot me a deadly stare. He spoke up and said. “Alright, I am going to bring Jiyeon home tonight and cuddle her until she dies out of breath.” Jiyeon hit his chest and said. “I ain’t going to your house!” Myungsoo replied. “You are, trust me.” And he dragged Jiyeon away.

When they left, Eunjung called out to me with a serious face. “Nam WooHyun.” For some reason, I felt nervous and tensed. She let out a chuckle when she saw my serious face. “Why so serious? Chill! I need to apologize for taking Hyomin away from you too. Take her now!” Hyomin looked at Eunjung with a confused face. “What did you mean by that? I am not going to his house!” and Eunjung started laughing. “Nobody said you were going to his house! Do you want to go to his house that much?” and the rest of the girls started laughing. I could see Hyomin’s face turning red and I saw her face palming her face. Aww, she is so cute when she does that.

I was still lost in my thought until Soyeon starting calling me. “So are you taking Hyomin away? If you ain’t, I am!” I went over to Hyomin and grabbed her hand. “Of course I am going to bring her away! Bye guys!” and I led Hyomin away, leaving the rest of the people behind.

Eunjung’s POV

I knew those four was interested in each other and I just had to give them a push. It was kind of frustrating to see them dragging on all the time. After they left, Soyeon came to me and whispered. “So what do you think about them?” I smiled and replied. “They will be together, no matter what happens.”

Ok, so this is chapter 28. HEHEHEHE. Boring chapter, I know. LOL.
