WooHyun’s POV

Right after lesson time, i dashed out of the class and went to look for Myungsoo. After searching for 10 minutes, i finally found him in the library. I went to him, trying to catch my breath as i talk. “BRO! IT’S REALLY HER!” i was literally shouting in the library. After my sentence, i realised that all eyes were on me. I apologised and pulled Myungsoo out of the library. “Myungsoo! It really is her! I saw the pendant.” Upon hearing me, Myungsoo let out a small smile. “I told you, isn’t it?” I nodded and laughed.

“So what’s your plan now? Are you going to tell her the truth?” I asked. He shook his head and replied. “No. I want her to recognise me herself.” I nodded and placed my hand around his shoulder and started walking. “Okay, as you say! Oh, and let’s get to the music studio, we have to practise and make sure JiWoo gets everything right.” He nodded and we headed to the music studio.

Jiyeon/Jiwoo’s POV

Right after the bell rang, WooHyun dashed out of the class like as if he was running for his life. What a weird guy he is. In the end, JunHyung, Hyomin and I went for lunch together. Right after lunch, JunHyung left home first and only Hyomin and I were left. Once JunHyung left, Hyomin started talking to me. “Practise again? Right?” I nodded and let out a sigh.

Hyomin sighed.”Why did you even get yourself into this mess anyway?” I patted her back and said:” its ok, Hyomin. My choice, my responsibility. This hectic schedule is only because they want me to get on track. That’s all. Hyomin nodded and handed me a bag. “Here, your clothes for today.” Hyomin was really good in terms of fashion sense. She was the only who plans what i wear every time i change into a guy. I took the bag and went into the handicapped toilet and changed into the guy wear. After that, Hyomin accompanied me to the dance studio again.

Like the last time, when Sungjong saw Hyomin, he went on and ran towards her giving her one tight hug. I could see that WooHyun’s face was full of jealousy but yet, Hyomin didn’t really pay attention to him. What a poor guy. Until then, Hyomin got Sungjong to release his hug and she went off after bidding farewell to me. So in the end, everything started again. All the vocal trainings and all the dancing practise. After 3 hours straight of non-stop dancing and singing, we finally called it a day. Just as i was prepared to go home, one of the guys suggested having a drinking party to welcome me in. No matter how much i declined their offer, i got dragged into this crazy idea with them. I wasn’t a really great drinker, so i didn’t touch any of the alcoholic drinks.

However, all the other guys were drop dead drunk except for WooHyun and Hoya. Not able to tolerate the smell of alcohol, i excused myself and went outside for a breather. Just as i was relaxing, i heard Sungjong calling me. I turned around and saw him, with his flushed pink cheeks, walking down the stairs like as if he was going to fall. I went up the stairs and made him sit on the stairs. After settling down, Sungjong started to talk.

“JiWoo Hyung, are you close with Sunyoung noona?” i didn’t reply and just kept quiet and waited for him to continue what he wanted to say. “Sunyoung noona... is really pretty.  I still remember having a crush on her.” I was shocked when he said that. He chuckled and continued. “But i never had a chance. That bastard came and took her away, and in the end, broke her heart. And because of that, her heart is completely closed and she moved away from her old house and went to live beside Jiyeon noona.”

I could recall what he said. Hyomin and I were actually from another school. But after studying for 2 years there, we transferred to our current school where infinite was. At that time, Sungjong was Hyomin’s neighbour. Hyomin treated Sungjong well, and so did Sungjong. But it didn’t know that he had feelings for her. And there, Hyomin dated a guy named LeeJoon and after 1 year, he broke up with her. He hurt her really deeply and in the end, she closed her heart completely. She couldn’t accept another guy in her heart and because of that, i wanted to protect her. So i made her move to where she is now, the apartment beside mine, so i could take care of her.

I was going to start talking to Sungjong when he started talking again. “To think of it, why haven’t i seen you before? I mean i always see Jiyeon but i don’t see you at all.” I panicked at his question. I didn’t expect him to ask me this question, but i managed to calm down and replied him. “I was living overseas that time.” He nodded his head. “Arasso.” Just then, WooHyun and Hoya came out with the drunkards of infinite. WooHyun started shouting the moment he saw Sungjong. “Yah! So you are here? We were worried dead!” he gave Sungjong a disgusted face and he turned to me. “JiWoo, i am going to send these guys back, are you ok with going home yourself?”

I nodded my head. “Oh, and can you send Myungsoo home? He stays a couple of street away from you. I will give you the address, please just help me sent him home.” Without waiting for my reply, WooHyun just threw me a piece of paper with an address on it and he walked off with the other guys. So now, i am left with another drunkard. Oh great. I started to carry him on my back and made walked with him. But after walking for 15 minutes, i was too tired. He is just too heavy. So thus, i went to a nearby bench and threw him on the bench. “Finally!” I shouted out when i placed him on the bench. It was a load off my back.

I sat beside Myungsoo and started admiring his face features. They looked really perfect. I scanned through his eyes, mouth, nose and cheeks. I looked like a complete ert when i did that. Just as i was looking at his face, he started talking. “Yeonnie.” I could hear him mumbling. I froze on the spot when i heard him calling Yeonnie. Nobody calls me Yeonnie except for Myungie. But i managed to shake off the idea by thinking that the Yeonnie he was referring to could be somebody else. I looked at my watch and realised that it was getting late. I tried to hold Myungsoo up and after minutes of struggling, i finally succeeded. Just as i was about to walk over, i caught a glance of the necklace that Myungsoo was wearing.

At first, i paid no attention to it. But curiosity got the better of me. I leaned in closer and took a closer look at his necklace and i found out that it looked exactly like mine. I remembered the moment when he shouted for Yeonnie when he was drunk, and now the necklace. It can’t be a coincidence. In order to confirm, i took his pendant and turn it to the back, and saw the name Yeonnie engraved on it. When i saw the name, my tears started to flow down without me realising it.

Myungie, you are back. Finally.
