WooHyun’s POV

After hearing what he said, I slapped LeeJoon’s back and laughed. “Yah Hyung! Stop kidding, this isn’t funny. Hyomin can’t be Sunyoung!” He looked at me with a confused look. “Who’s Hyomin?” I shook my head and replied. “The girl that ran away from you just now, the girl that you claimed to be Sunyoung!” He nodded his head and replied.”Ah, I see. Hyomin? But I am sure she is Sunyoung! I mean you heard what she said just now didn’t you? She even asked why I am back. And I totally recognize her! She has the same exact face as Sunyoung!”

I kept quiet and started thinking. It is true. Whatever LeeJoon said was correct. Hyomin might be Sunyoung. I am not certain if both Hyomin and Sunyoung has the same look since I have never seen her before. But whatever she said to LeeJoon just now made me suspect that she is indeed Sunyoung. All the remarks that she made to LeeJoon; it proves that she was hurt really badly by LeeJoon. I patted his back and said:”Hyung, I can’t be certain if Hyomin is really Sunyoung, but I will find out for you alright?” He nodded and replied. “Thank you WooHyun. I am counting on you.”  After his reply, I gave him a smile. Even though I was smiling outside, I was actually really confused inside. But I decided to think of the matter next time, and as for now, I am going to enjoy my time with LeeJoon Hyung since he rarely visits me. I nudged him and said:”Hyung! Let’s hang out for a while before going home alright, it’s been long since we went out and enjoyed ourselves.”

But instead of getting a reply, all I got was LeeJoon staring at another place, frozen. I looked towards where he gaze was and I found Sungjong, Jiyeon and Myungsoo. “Oh, guys! Hello!” I waved at them. Among the three of them, only Myungsoo greeted me back. Whereas for Jiyeon and Sungjong, they were giving me deadly stares. Well, to be more exact, they were giving LeeJoon deadly stares.

Jiyeon’s POV

After my “brother” joining in the infinite gang, I was able to get closer with the guys, especially Sungjong and Myungsoo. So, Myungsoo asked for my help to pack his locker since it was a mess and well, I agreed instantly. Because of this, I wasn’t able to go home with Hyomin and since Hyomin said it was fine, and I trusted her and let her went home alone. After cleaning Myungsoo’s locker, which is like really messy, since it is filled with fan letters and many other things which he didn’t bother to clean up, and that got me jealous, he offered to send me home and I agreed.

On the way towards the exit of the school, we met up with Sungjong, it turned out that he had to do some revision with the teacher, so that’s why he is leaving the school at a later time. So in the end, the three of us went home with each other as a company and we started talking. There are times when we mention about JiWoo but I was able to keep myself calm. Just as I reach the school gate, I saw WooHyun and someone else. I looked closer and saw that it was LeeJoon! I turned to look at Sungjong and his eyes were wide open. I turned to look at LeeJoon again and I realized he was staring at me. And soon after that, WooHyun turned towards our direction and started greeting us. Only Myungsoo greeted him back since Sungjong and I were busy sending deadly glares to LeeJoon.

Finally after a minute of sending deadly glares and standing rooted to the ground, I started talking. “WooHyun! You know that guy over there?” He pointed to LeeJoon and replied.” Him?” I nodded. He continued, “Of course I do. He is my cousin.” I mentally face palmed myself. It is totally appropriate to guess that they were blood related since only the two of them have the ability to hurt Hyomin. “So, did you see Hyomin?” I continued prying further. He nodded. “She just went.” My eyes grew wide open, “What do you mean by just now? He met with that guy over there?” He pointed to LeeJoon again. “You mean him? Yes, Hyomin did meet up with him.”

Upon hearing that, I flared up. I walked over to LeeJoon and stared him right in the face. “You. Aren’t you done with hurting her? Why the hell are you back for? You better not think that you still have another chance with her. I will kick your if you try wooing her again. “And I ran away right after talking. I had to get to Hyomin right now. I am sure she needs me by her side more than anything right now. My mind was full of Hyomin that I forgot that Myungsoo and Sungjong were with me.

Once I reached her house, I started punching in her code number for the lock and went in. I search for Hyomin in every corner of her house and I finally found her in her room, weeping in one corner. I went over to her side and gave her a hug and I didn’t make any sound. I knew she was really sad and needed comfort and someone to listen to her. I am more than willing to lend her a listening ear. She returned my hug and started whispering. “My heart hurts. It really hurts. Why is this feeling back again?” I hugged her even more tightly and said back. “It’s ok, Hyomin. I am always by your side. Trust me. I will never ever let that guy hurt you.” After hearing what I said, Hyomin stopped talking and continued crying. Well, for some reason, I cried along. After 2 straight hours of crying, she finally went to sleep on her bed.

After making sure that she was alright, I went to the living room and saw that Myungsoo and Sungjong were still there. “Guys, I’m sorry for taking your time. You could have left if you wanted.” Sungjong cut me off and said: ”Its ok noona. How is Sunyoung noona? Is she ok?” I could see that he was really worried. I gave him a smile and replied. “She is ok now. She just needs some time alone. Let’s give her some peace alright?” he nodded and the three of us went out of Hyomin’s house. I bowed to them and said:”Thank you guys. And Sungjong, thank you for caring so much for Hyomin.” He smiled and replied. “It’s ok noona. It’s no big deal. I have to go now, I will see you two tomorrow.” And he went off.  So now, only Myungsoo and I are left.

Myungsoo’s POV

After the encounter with WooHyun and his cousin, Jiyeon went straight to him and began scolding him. At first I wasn’t sure why Jiyeon did that, but after seeing what happened at Hyomin’s house, I was able to piece all the different pieces of puzzles together. My guess was that WooHyun’s cousin did something mean to Hyomin once and it resulted in Jiyeon hating him. Sungjong and I decided to chase after Jiyeon to make sure that she was alright. She didn’t stop until she reached someone’s house, which afterwards, I realized it was Hyomin’s house.

We stayed in the living room when Jiyeon went into Hyomin’s room and comforted her. Sungjong and I could have left first but I was worried for Jiyeon and Sungjong was worried for Hyomin. So in the end, we decided to stay and make sure that everything is ok before leaving. So after 2 hours of crying, Jiyeon came out finally. She assured Sungjong that everything was ok, and Sungjong left after being assured. So the two of us was left alone.

Right after Sungjong left, Jiyeon turned to me and thank me again for staying behind. I gave her a smile and assured her that it wasn’t a big deal. I could see that she was really sad after what happened to Hyomin, so I decided to cheer her up. “Jiyeon, let’s go somewhere, alright?” I could see that she was confused with what I said, but she still agreed in the end. I brought her to a park which was really deserted. Nobody really comes here as it is too inconvenient. But then, that’s what I liked about this park. Nobody comes here, and I can think in peace all the time. Once we reached the park, we settled down at a bench and we started talking. “So, are you ok now?” I asked. She nodded and gave me a smile. “I can’t say I am fully ok, but I can assure you that I am not that sad as just now.” I smiled and asked:”So, why were you crying just now?”

She seemed reluctant to reply me at first, but she still replied in the end. ”It’s just because I don’t like my friends to be sad. I know the feeling of being really sad and have someone that I really love leave me. WooHyun’s cousin left Hyomin, and my first love left me. I know the feeling of being left alone. It is really tiring. When my first love left me, I was only 10 years old. And at that time, there was no one to share my feelings with, and I don’t like the feeling of being bottling up all my feelings. So I decided that I will never let my friends feel the same way as me.”

I was looking at her the whole time when she was talking. I was sure that I was the one that made her feel tired because I left her, but I wasn’t sure if I am the first love she was talking about, but I hoped she was referring to me anyway. I blurted out my feelings without myself realizing it. “Jiyeon, I promise you. I am not going to let you feel the way you felt when you were left alone. I will always stay by your side and take care of you.” She turned around and looked into my eyes, and gave me a smile that instantly melted my heart. “Thank you.”
