Junhyung’s POV

So it’s a new day at school. I took out the clothes that Hyomin picked for me yesterday and started wearing them. When I reached school, I could hear people saying a new kid? He is so handsome! He is on par with infinite right now! I am so falling in love with him! I smirked when I heard those comments and my confidence boosted up immediately. When I walked into the class, I could see that all eyes were on me. When I went over to my seat, Hyomin gave me a disgusted look and said. “Who the hell are you? Can you please don’t dirty the seat by seating on my friend’s seat?”

I chuckled as I removed my sunglasses and I could see Hyomin’s shocked face. She started touching my face and touching my hair, not wanting to believe what happened to me. She shook her head and said. “I can’t believe that you changed into someone I totally don’t recognize. Even though I don’t really like how you look like right now, but I’m sure Hara would like you back! So good luck!” and she gave me her smile.

Ouch, it hurts somehow when she said that she didn’t really like how I looked right now. But my mood lightens up when she said Hara would like me back. I waited until the class ended and when Hara and I were just left alone in the class, I plucked up the courage to talk to her again. “Hey, Hara, what do you think of my new look?” and I showed her a cool pose. But instead of being fascinated, she scoffed and said. “I am sorry but you are just not my type.” Wait, she just rejected me again? I mean what’s this supposed to mean? I changed for her and yet… she rejects me again.

She folded her arms and said. “I already have someone I like, and I’m getting him no matter what I do. No matter how your appearance changes, you can’t deny the fact that you are someone that is unfit for me. No matter which aspect it is, you just don’t seem to meet my expectations. Just leave and go away.” And she stood up and walked away.

I didn’t know she was such a cocky person. I mean she doesn’t look like it though. But still, her words were a bit harsh and I was actually offended and hurt by it. I grabbed my bag and had my head drooping low. I feel so…dejected right now. For some reason, I thought of Hyomin and called her immediately. I guess I needed someone beside me right now.

WooHyun’s POV

For some reason, Hyomin was abit quiet today. She didn’t talk as much as she did normally. Something was wrong. When I was going to start shooting her with questions about her behavior and also what I saw in the mall yesterday, Hyuna popped up. Ok, bad timing, and I must admit, I got a little bit tired of seeing her every day. When Hyomin saw Hyuna, she walked even faster and at a pace that I couldn’t catch up with. When we reached class, I saw her at her seat taking out the necessities for class. I really wanted to have a talk with her but it isn’t helping since Hyuna just dragged me to our seat.

Just then, a not-so-familiar-yet-familiar guy appeared and started sitting beside Hyomin. I could hear Hyomin asking him to get away. Yes, that’s the way Hyomin, shoo off any guy that tries to get close with you! But when he took off his glasses, I instantly recognized that it was Junhyung. How the hell did he get so handsome? I saw Hyomin touching his hair and his face, and my jealously was building up. I turned away and stopped looking at the two of them and just concentrated on Hyuna instead.

When school ended, I really needed to talk to her no matter what happened! But Hyuna came again and broke all my plans. When Hyomin finished packing her bag, she turned over to look at me and she sighed again. I could see the sad expression on her face. In the end, she just turned around and walked off alone, without me. My heart hurt a lot when I saw the sad expression on her face. I felt guilty for leaving her alone all the time for the sake of Hyuna.

Hyuna’s POV

So I managed to stop WooHyun from going to Hyomin again. Yes, it worked and it’s going to continue working. As usual, WooHyun sent me home and that was the end. When I reached home, I started working on how to separate the two of them when I saw two familiar figures. After a while, I decided to take a breather and looked outside the window and that’s when I saw Hyomin and Junhyung hugging each other! Immediately, I took out my phone and took the photo. Hah! I can totally see the two of their faces clearly.

Just then, an idea struck me. Why not use this chance to break them apart? I smirked as I sent the phone to WooHyun.

Hey, I have thought for a long time but I think it would be better if you know this. I saw Hyomin and Junhyung hugging each other just now.(  and I inserted the picture of them hugging each other)

After sending the message, I felt a moment of satisfactory. Hah! This is the end! Park Hyomin, WooHyun will be mine you loser!

Hyomin’s POV

I was planning to walk home with WooHyun today since it has been days since we done so, but once again, Hyuna was there to destroy everything. I sighed and walked home alone, since Jiyeon was going home with Myungsoo and Junhyung was going to confess again. Just then, I heard LeeJoon shouting. “Park Hyomin! Wait for me!” I turned around and see a flustered LeeJoon and I started giggling. He looked so funny!

“What’s so funny?” He looked at me with a frown. I shook my head and stopped laughing. “Where’s WooHyun?” and he looked around trying to spot where WooHyun was. I sighed and said. “He is going home with Hyuna again.” He looked at me with a confused face and said. “Again? Why didn’t you stop him? And what exactly happened between the two of you? I don’t see you smiling that much when you are by his side.”

I told him everything about what happened between Hyuna and WooHyun, including the time when Hyuna hugged WooHyun and every single detail that could link the two of them. He sighed and said. “Hyomin, you got to fight for the one you love. You don’t want to make the same mistakes again right?” I looked at him and said. “It’s ok. When that happens, it just means that we are not meant to be isn’t it?” and I gave him a halfhearted smile. He ruffled his own hair and said. “In that case, I won’t force you. But you got to remember, I am always here for you. No matter what happens. And I still love you. I won’t let WooHyun get you again if he hurts you once.”

Ok, I am officially shocked by what he said. He still had feelings for me? I thought I would be speechless but instead, words just came out of my mouth. “Thank you LeeJoon.” He gave me a smile and said. “Alright, we reached your house! We will see each other tomorrow!”  And he walked away waving goodbye to me. LeeJoon, if only you didn’t have a change of heart, we would still have been together and I won’t need to suffer so many heartbreaks.

Just as I stepped into my house, my phone started ringing. I picked it up and realized it was Junhyung. “Oh, Junhyung, what’s up?” I could hear him sighing over the phone. “Are you free now? Can we meet?” I could sense that something was wrong so I agreed immediately. When I reached the location that he was at, I found the place a little bit familiar, but who the hell would know that I am standing directly in front of Hyuna’s house?

When I saw Junhyung, I could see that he looked lifeless? I sat beside him and kept quiet until he started telling me what happened. So, he got rejected by Hara, and Hara even insulted him? Ok, this girl was a little bit harsh right here. Jiyeon did tell me about the acts of Hara, but I didn’t know she was this cheap.

I sighed and looked at Junhyung. “It’s ok. She isn’t the only girl right here. I am sure you will find someone that would care about you more that you care about her. Someone who doesn’t care about your looks, and just loves you for who you are.” He looked at me with a sad expression and embraced me into a hug. I guess it wouldn’t hurt much to give a friend a hug so I didn’t pull away, and instead, I tightened the hug and patted his back. “It’s ok. Everything will end, and you will find your true love.”

After a while, he released me from the hug and said. “Thank you Hyomin, I feel much better right now.” I smiled at him and gave him an OK sign, and there, we parted ways. After that, I started walking home, and just when I was nearing my house, I see a familiar figure standing in front of my doorstep. I took a closer look and saw that it was WooHyun. What was he doing here?

Junhyung’s POV

After hearing what Hyomin said, I realized what she said was actually correct. I looked at her and somehow hoped that the person I fell in love with was Hyomin and not Hara. I don’t know why but I couldn’t resist it and just hugged Hyomin. At first, I thought Hyomin was going to push me away, but to my surprise, she tightened the hug and even patted my back.

When she did that, I could feel my heart skipping a beat. What does this mean exactly?
