Aloha y'all~

I've noticed that some fanfics, in between writing put EMOTICONS!

 

Le blinks~

Why do I see this when I'm reading? Why?

It's not necassary. You need to allow the writing show how the character looks or feels

I'll give you an example:

 

 

there he is! :O What do I do now?

 

 

Instead, it should be this:

 

there he is! My mouth dropped to the floor. What do I do now?

 

And it's not just that face, it includes there: 

 

>.<       -.-       =.="      :D      :(      ^.^       ¬_¬

 

The list goes on.

 

I honestly don't like it. I feel that if you want to improve your writing, don't use shortcuts like these. Describing a face will only take a sentence minimum.

Chapter 78: I hate it when there r alot of "" word
Example :-
" WHAT ARE YOU DOING HER YOU ING GET AWAY FROM MY ING ROOM AND DONT FORGET TO CLOSE THE ING DOOR ">eh?

Chapter 25: omg this really bothers me as well and it makes me give up on the fic because if they use it too much it gets super annoying. I just want to read fluently in English in my head...

Chapter 27: I have two friends who are scared of thunder and they would cling onto me whenever the thunder starts roaring. Honestly it's a bit annoying cause I personally find the sound of thunder and rain really calming. LOL I'm so weird XD
