I really dislike the misconception of the idea of "Being Fat"

It doesn't only happen on AFF. I know of other sites that do this.

What they do is imply that, being fat won't make you happy, and that is a complete lie.

I hate that people write that in order for a fat person to get a boyfriend and to have true friends, she needs to become skinny and pretty.

There are so many girls that have this insecurity of being fat, heck, even I am lazily battling with my wieght, and I just wonder, why would you read something that is only going to make you feel bad?

Why would you read something so unrealistic and untrue?

You don't need to be breath-takingly gorgeous to be happy in life or to have a boy like you. You don't need to be stick thin to have amazing friends and so on.

Fanfics with storylines like this make me sad, because it's just going to brainwash more girls into thinking that they're too fat, when they look fine.
