So I’ve read a few fanfics like this, where they will have half of what they write in capital letters. It’s more usual when you have stories in a person’s point of view.

The thing is that it sounds as if everything they’re saying is overly exaggerated to a point where I think the character is annoying.

For example:

OH MY FREAKING GOSH HE LOOKS LIKE A GOD!
Why can’t you look at me?
OH DAMN HE LOOKED AT ME!

Why is everything being screamed inside your head D:

I may understand if it is done for a girl but when POV is switched to a boy, sometimes it doesn’t fit well. The character may be someone cool like Zico or L.Joe.

I just can’t see them fangirling in their head: SHE’S EFFING HOT!

Tone it down people. Caps lock should be used when one is shouting. But that’s my opinion. I shall give you an example:

“Calm down love”

“CALM DOWN? I CA—I can’t calm down....”

Not only that, the presentation of the chapter looks messy in caps lock. It's very flowy when it's written properly.
