There's a new concept on AFF where we can all vote for out favourite fanfics and this will in return, aid in helping the fanfic getting featured.

Unfortunately, it has come to my attention not too long ago that there are a number of authors who are demanding readers to vote for their own fanfics.

I really don't believe this is the way to do this as being able to vote is a choice for your readers.

They are the ones who choose their most favoured fanfic and vote for it because that is their choice, not because the author tells them to. They are the ones who decide if your fanfic is enjoyable for them to vote for it because they think the author deserves it.
