Okay, so, there are so many fanfics out there on this site that involve one of the character falling very ill.

What bothers me is that the character seems to miraculously recover after just one day.

Not all fanfics do this but a HUGE majority do.

I mean, call me a science geek or whatever, but that just doesn't happen. When your body has a new infection it takes roughly a week before your body is fully immobolised with the cells it needs to kill that mofo disease!!

So like, until then, your character is going to have blocked nose, high temperature and a cough for a while.

They don't just recover with someone placing a damp cloth on their face and giving them porridge.

And why is it all of them hate medicine and refuse to take it? Just gulp it down like a man!

I'm ill too guys. My mom was like, don't go to school if you cant case if you faint, I'm not getting you. Yeah, real nice mother, real nice.
