Of course, this website is a home to a lot of teenage girls and because of this a lot of plots have 16-18 year olds. There's nothing wrong with that though!

It's the fact that these girls are put in situations that would not be thought possible or even relatable. 

So for example, you have a 16 year old, or near that age, who has a job as a band's manager or their stylist. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm 16 and I don't think SM would even think twice about rejecting my application for a job.

However, things like this can be brushed off and I can get into the story really well.

But there's still the point that the girls that a written about should be in high school and not in a work environment. 

This is all of course, depending on your storyline though. It'll be understandable that a 17 year old orphan has three jobs to keep up with bills; yet even then, these jobs won't be as prestigious as a band's manager.
