Something else I've noticed about the CHARACTERS of many fanfics.

They are either RICH AS HELL or ORPHANS

Some stories are great though with these sort of characters, but if it's not done properly, things get a bit, BLEUGH~

For starters:

Rich characters.

Some fanfics portray them to be SO rich that it just sounds silly at the end of it.

The character sounds so arrogant and snobby, I find it hard to like them or make a connection with them.

Orphans.

They always have this tough exterior to them apparently.

And always have the need to visit other kid orphans.

Or are involved in a gang or something like that.

Not only that, there are the Nerds and Players category.

Nerds.

Wears glasses.

Ugly.

Horrible fashion sense.

Smart as hell.

I happen to be a nerdish smart girl, but I don't wear glasses, I don't think I'm ugly or the best looking neither do I think I dress like a woman from the Stone Age.

Players.

A bit obvious, A .

Mm, what else?

I dunna at the moment but I am sure there is a lot of character styles and personalities that a lot of authors go for.

There's nothing wrong with them but just saying that there is a very noticeable similarities with other fanfics.
