Flashback(continued):

Ding! Ding!

I looked up at the electronic signboard. It showed the number 87.

Just one more contestent and i'll be in the audition room. Stay calm, do not panic. Panicking does not help.

I coiled up my earphones and walked up towards the door, that had the sign 'Audition Room'. My heart is accelerating as i approached the room. There were butterflies in my stomach.

Oh, i feel like puking.

Suddenly the thought of Onew popped into my head.

Why is he even here?

Ding! Ding! My thoughts were interrupted due to the bell ringing. It signalled that I had to enter the audition room. In front of me, I saw 4 individual. All of them had a long list in front of them.

Hmm… They look familiar. Omo! One of them is Onew. There were 3 other people, 2 looked familiar. It’s heechul and eunhyuk from Suju. The other guy must be the CEO, Kim Young-min! It’s an honour to meet them.

Then suddenly my nerves struck me, I stepped forward and introduce myself.

“Anyounghaseyo, Chonun Lee _____ ieyo(Hello , I’m Lee _____.)

“You speak Korean?” Onew asked. My heart started to beat faster than before but I ignored it as I thought it was just my nerves. However, I learnt so later that it was not so.

“N…ooo. Jjjuu..st a littt…le.” I stammered aimlessly.

Why can’t I speak properly? Do not panic!!  I have to stay calm and confident.

“What are you performing?” the CEO asked.

“ I’m going to sing and dance to shady girl by sistar.” I answered a little more confidently.

Than I started dancing, it felt really natural as I’m a natural when it came to dancing. The judges started whispering to each other and from the corner of my eye, I saw a huge grin plastered on heechul’s face.

How unusual. Heechul was usually moody and nicknamed kim mood swing. Why is he so happy? Hmm, how odd.

I finished off the dance and was quite satisfied with myself as I did not flaw. The judges than took turns asking a few questions about myself and why I wanted to join SM. I replied that dancing and singing were my passions and I wanted to further develop them. They dismissed me and I bowed and said thank you. I left the room with a grin as wide as a chesire cat.
