Soojin stood at the end of the grave. Her hands wrapped carefully around the stems of the flowers she held. "I get why you didn't want to tell me. I'm sorry for all the troubles I caused over it. I just wish you were here to receive the apology in person...." Tears ran down her face and she could feel a small hand resting on her back. "I'm sure she hears you. I swear she heard everything." Soojin chuckled as she turned to look at Soyeon behind her. "Yeah she was something special wasn't she?" Soyeon nodded and knelt beside the grave. She placed a small bouquet on top. "Hey Grandma Seo. A lot has happened since you left us. Soojin's in good hands though. Sticky hands probably but still good." Soojin nudged Soyeon disapprovingly. Soyeon couldn't help but chuckle. "Her name is Shuhua. You'd have liked her. She's cute. I wish you could meet her." 

Shuhua and Yuqi watched from the car as their girlfriends visited the grave. "I wonder what they're saying." Shuhua was incredibly curious. "I bet they're telling her about how childish you are." Shuhua rolled her eyes. "You're more childish than me." Yuqi scoffed. "That's not true and you know it." The two bickered for a moment before Siyeon put her hand between the two. "Hey hey hey you know it stresses Boya out when you two fight." Bora sat in the front rubbing her temples. Shuhua who was seated directly behind her leaned forward hugging her. "Sorry auntie." They spoke at the same time. After a little longer the women returned to the car. "Everyone buckle up." Bora reminded them before Siyeon began to drive back. 

Yuqi rested her head on Soyeon's shoulder. "So what did you talk about?" Soyeon shrugged. "We told her about a few things." Shuhua played with Soojin's fingers. "Are you okay?" Soojin smiled sadly. "Well... It's good to finally know why she would hide something like that from me for so long. She had a good reason." Soojin sighed. "I just wish..." She looked down gathering her thoughts. "I wish I could look at her face to face and tell her I'm sorry for everything I put her through. I was a horrible granddaughter." Shuhua sympathetically nuzzled into Soojin. "I'm sure she was listening. She was probably waiting to know you'd be okay." Soojin smiled sadly pulling Shuhua securely into her side. "Well then she'll be happy to know I've got you now." Shuhua smiled up at the Korean woman. "I will protect you no matter what." Soojin took a deep breath and nodded relaxing a bit. "I know you will..." 

She knew it was coming they were soulmates after all. But now looking down at Shuhua she could feel a strong urge to say something. 'I love you...' But she couldn't. Not yet. Not now crammed into the back of a car with others able to hear. Not for the first time. "You're cute." She said instead gently squeezing the woman with one arm. 

Once they got home Soojin made her way to her room. Shuhua followed behind. "What are you doing? I thought you had to be invited into my room." Soojin teased lightly. Shuhua pouted crossing her arms. "If you don't want me here you can just say it. I figured you'd want to cuddle or something." Soojin softened a bit and pulled Shuhua into a hug. "Shuhua..." She pulled back and looked at her. The vampire smiled at her flashing her fangs. "Yes Jinjin?" Soojin couldn't help but smile back. She brought her hand up from Shuhua's shoulder to her cheek gently caressing it with her thumb. "I want to turn. I'm ready." Shuhua widened her eyes. "Jin-ah you don't have to. It hasn't been that long and what if you decide you don't want to be a part of our world?" Shuhua looked a bit panicked as she thought of the possibilities of Soojin regretting the decision. She was stuck in her thoughts til she felt a pair of soft lips pressed into her own. Though she didn't need to breath and hadn't for many years she felt for the first time in a long time like she was suffocating. She gripped the sides of the shirt Soojin was wearing tightly as she started to kiss back. 

After a moment Soojin leaned back leaving a dazed Shuhua just a few inches in front of her. "You kissed me?" Shuhua asked although she knew the answer for sure. "I did." Shuhua nodded and nibbled lightly on her own lip. "And you did it because.." Soojin smiled and rolled her eyes. "Because I love you." Shuhua froze almost as if moving would make the woman change her mind. "You love me?" Soojin nudged her pushing her gently to the bed to sit. "(of course I do. Soulmates are meant to love each other aren't we?" Shuhua nodded slowly. "I just didn't think it'd happen so fast." Soojin shrugged and sat beside the vampire pulling her into her lap. "Well what can I say you've managed to win me over. And that's why I want to turn." She gently pulled Shuhua's chin towards her moving her hand up to tuck a few stray hairs behind her ear. "Not just because of the whole angel thing. But because I'm pretty sure I want to be with you forever." 

Shuhua leaned in kissing Soojin again. She brought her hand up lacing her fingers into the Korean woman's hair as she held her in place. Soojin eventually had to gently push Shuhua away in order to breathe. "Well hold on there. I have to live to be turned right? Which means I need to breathe." She chuckled. Shuhua blushed and smiled apologetically. "Sorry I was just excited. I'll tell Mama so she can get ready to turn you." She began to stand up but was pulled back by Soojin who held her waist. "Can't you turn me?" Shuhua shook her head rapidly. "Oh no no no I've never turned anyone before. I don't want to make a mistake and hurt you." Soojin pouted a bit gently squeezing her waist. "I want you to turn me. You'll do fine. And you can have your mom's with us to help." Shuhua nibbled on her lips thinking. "Fine. But let's talk to Mama first." Soojin nodded with a small smile. "Later. For now I think I will take you up on your original offer for cuddles." She laid back pulling the vampire into her arms.
