Minnie Miyeon Sana and Jihyo left the office having talked over a few things. They made their way down the stairs to where everyone else should be gathered. "Yuqi. Shuhua. I need to speak with you." Minnie beckoned the two over to her. "Yes Mama?" Shuhua asked as she got close with her head tilted to the side. "You're not going to like what I have to say but it is what is best for you two as well as your girlfriends." Yuqi preemptively crossed her arms ready to be annoyed. Miyeon gently rubbed her back. "Listen first please. You know we wouldn't ask you to do something if it wasn't necessary." Yuqi nodded pouting a bit. 

Minnie cleared . "Sana here will be taking a small drink from both Soojin and Soyeon. Just think of it as a health check. You know she is special." Yuqi wanted to protest but Sana held her hands up defensively. "I will drink from the wrist and won't touch any higher than their elbows. You have my promise." Shuhua nodded agreeing for both of them. "Seems like a good idea. I need to know my Jinjin is okay. But you have to tell her what's happening. I won't put her trust at risk." Sana looked a little concerned. "Well if they know Eunha will know..." Jihyo held Sana's hand squeezing it encouragingly. "It's time to tell her anyway." Sana sighed and nodded before pulling Eunha and Sinb into Minnie's office. 

"So the flirty one will be trying our blood? And you two are okay with it?" Soyeon looked at Yuqi who rolled her eyes. "Not really but if you're sick and we don't know..." Although Soyeon often liked to tease Yuqi she knew this wasn't the time. She took her hand and gently tugged to get her attention. "If you don't want me to do it I won't. I don't want you to be uncomfortable." Yuqi looked up at Soyeon and nibbled on her own lip as she thought. "I think you should. If you're sick and we can help..." Soyeon smiled and nodded. "If you say so. If it will help you can cling to me the whole time." Yuqi scoffed playfully. "I was going to do that anyway." Soyeon nudged her. "Well now you can't." She stuck her tongue out at the vampire who pouted even though she knew Soyeon was joking. "Yah yah yah you already said I could. No taking it back so sorry. You're stuck with me." 

Soojin rested her head on Shuhua's shoulder. "Can she tell what we have if we have something?" Shuhua nodded. "To an extent she can taste it. She has honed her skills for years she can even sometimes tell if someone is a species of Fae like her." Soojin hummed a bit. "So if I were Fae?" Shuhua smiled. "You'd taste different to her." Soojin nodded. "Well I'm sure I'm not. Soyeon on the other hand... She could be an elf. Like a keebler elf." She joked quietly. With her strong hearing Yuqi heard what Soojin said and couldn't help but laugh. "What's so funny?" Soyeon asked confused. "Soojin said you're a keebler elf." Soyeon gasped dramatically. "My own best friend? Rude." Soojin smiled and snuggled a bit into Shuhua as she felt a chill. 

Soon Sana was sent to another room along with Soojin Soyeon Shuhua and Yuqi. "You know the rules Sanake! Minimal touching." Sana shook her head with a smile. "Relax I'm very professional with this type of thing." She held her hand out. "Wrist please?" She looked at Soyeon. The short human felt as Yuqi's arms wrapped around her waist. She couldn't help but smile as the woman nuzzled into her shoulder as well. She offered her arm to Sana. The Japanese woman gently held her arm as promised well below the elbow. She pulled it up to biting into her wrist. She drank just enough to taste. Soyeon brought her wrist back when she was done as Yuqi over the wound lapping up the blood as well as sealing it. Sana swished the blood around for a moment. "She's clean. But if you should really consider changing your diet." Soyeon laughed softly. "I won't be a human for much longer what's the point?" Sana shook her head and held her hand out to Soojin next wiping the leftover blood from her lips. "Next?" Soojin gave the woman her arm as she held Shuhua's hand. Sana repeated the same process but as she pulled away she had a puzzled look on her face. "She doesn't have any disease that's the good news..." 

"So what's the bad news?" Minnie and Jihyo had been called into the room and were standing by with concern on their faces. "It's not bad? I don't think so anyway. I'm not rightly sure to be completely honest." Shuhua paced around a bit looking annoyed. "Just tell us please Sana." The Japanese woman sighed. "She's not a full human. I don't know what she is I've never tasted blood like hers before. I just know she's not human." Jihyo nodded slowly. "So we've got a half blood?" Sana nodded and crossed her arms. It'd been a while since she had encountered someone she couldn't identify. "I'm sorry I don't know anything else. But if I can figure it out somehow..." Minnie pulled the other vampire into a hug. "Hey it's fine. You said she's not sick right? That's all we asked for. Don't feel bad for not knowing something else." Sana hugged back tightly. 

Soojin excused herself away from everyone. Shuhua wanted to follow but Soojin insisted she needed alone time. So everyone was gathered in the living room quietly thinking. "She didn't show any signs of being other than human?" Shuhua shook her head answering Tzuyu's question. "She's just Jinjin. Nothing out of the ordinary." Soyeon who had known Soojin for most of her life spoke up. "Her mother died giving birth to her. She was raised by her grandparents. They would never tell her anything about her father it drove her crazy not knowing." 

2014

“I don't understand why you won't just tell me? I deserve to know about him he's half of me!" A teenaged Soojin stood behind her grandmother with her arms crossed. "Because Soojin there are some things people don't need to know. And this is one you don't need to know. So I'd appreciate it if you would give up this tirade of yours. I won't be telling you anything. Soojin rolled her eyes before stomping off. She put on her jacket and left the house. She walked a familiar path one she knew by heart by now as it led to her best friends house. 

Soyeon heard tapping on her window and without even looking she opened it knowing exactly who it was. "She still wouldn't tell you?" She flipped through a manga. "Of course not. 'Theres some things you don't need to know.' You know same thing she always says. It's honestly just a load of crap. I bet she doesn't even know." Soojin plopped down on the bed beside Soyeon sighing. "Maybe you'll get her to tell you one day? Like when we graduate." Soojin shook her head. "You've met her you know how stubborn she is. You remember when we told her we broke up?" Soyeon laughed. "She insisted for a long long time that we were definitely still together." They laughed together for a moment. Once they calmed down Soojin covered her face sighing. "What if he's looking for me? What could possibly be wrong with him that she doesn't want me to know?" Soyeon sat up pulling Soojin's head into her lap and gently brushing her fingers through her hair. "I don't know. But maybe she's right? She's not the type to be needlessly cruel. And I've never seen someone who could love you more." Soojin nodded and closed her eyes. "This is why she wanted us to stay together. You're really good at talking me out of things." Soyeon just laughed. "Well sorry grandma. I do love you but more like a sister. It was too awkward to date." Soojin laughed. "I love you too dork." 

Note: In an effort to get stuff out I didn't edit this chapter. I'll probably do it later when I inevitably reread to look for ideas. What do you think Soojin is? I've got an idea but if I see a better one maybe I'll change it up.
