„Aish.... so annoying, that pet.“

Taehyung was back in the room.

He was watching the alien who was sleeping on the bed.

He stood up and placed the blanket over his shoulder.

He went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror.

For the first time in his life, he was proud. He felt good.

Not the familiar feeling when the eyeliner had the perfect angle, or the girls screamed over his ideal existence.

He was proud of somebody else—the alien.

He handled the panic attacks way better than before and allowed him and the others to help him. 

He trusted him.

„Hyung?“ he heard his voice.

„I am here. Bathroom.“

„Thanks you for singing..."

Taehyung rolled his eyes and walked into the room.

„You always cause trouble no matter where you go. Is that normal on your planet?“ he hissed at him.

„I wanted to say something nice!“ the pet pestered back.

„You did. And now?“

„Now what?“ Jungkook snapped.

„Do you think I feel better?“ Taehyung yelled back.

„I don´t care!“

„Why do you say stuff when you don´t care?“

Jungkook pouted.

„AISH!!!“ Taehyung clenched his fists.

„You know what? I hate you!“ Jungkook screamed at him.

„I hate you too, alien!“

Jungkook threw a pillow after him.

It knocked.

Both of their heads turned around. „WHAT?“

Yoongi´s face got pale. „I... just wanted to fetch you, guy, up. The class is leaving for the training...“ he stammered.

„We´re coming.“ Taehyung mumbled.

„On our way.“ Jungkook hissed.

Yoongi nodded. „Wow... you guys are kind of difficult to handle.“

„ OFF!“ Both yelled at him.

„I am not doing this .“

Jungkook heard his bo... he stopped. He listened to the pestering.

They were standing in front of an enormous scaffold. In the air, there was a... bridge? It was held by solid ropes leading to two platforms.

The bridge itself was long, and the only way to pass it was to walk over the planks.

And it was high.

Jungkook swallowed.

„Forget it.“ he heard the again.

„Come on. It´s boring when I can´t do it. I am paired up with you.“ Namjoon whined.

„I won´t do it.“ Taehyung said again.

Jungkook walked toward him. He snuggled himself to his back.

„Hi, pet.“ Taehyung smirked, grabbed Jungkook's hands, and wrapped them around his waist.

„You´re not doing it?“ Jungkook asked.

„No.“

„Why? You don´t want to?“

„Said that already.“ Taehyung mumbled.

„Any reason?“

„Just... don´t like that.“ Taehyung avoided Jungkook's eyes.

„Afraid?“ Jungkook smirked.

„What?“

„Is our prince a cat?“ Jungkook giggled. He knew the . He would do it.

„I am not a cat; you damn fruit!“

„Then just do it.“ Jungkook continued his teasing.

Namjoon waved at him in happiness, encouraging him to continue.

„You are a god. Remember? It´s just a bridge. Nothing else.“

Taehyung hesitated.

„Whatever. But don´t cry later when I embarrass you by being way faster.“

The stormed towards the guide to get ready.

Hoseok touched his back.

„Melon, that wasn´t the best idea.“

„Why?“ Jungkook asked.

„Taehyung is afraid of heights.“

„He is?“

„Yes. He is seriously frightened of heights. No joke. As a kid, he had to do it too. He was so scared that he collapsed and almost fell off the bridge. It wasn´t fun to get him down again.“

Jungkook´s eyes got wide.“Why is he doing it?“
„You scratched his pride. He will do it. No matter what.“

„I didn't know that...“ Jungkook stammered.

Namjoon came over.“Let´s switch. You lead him. He won´t trust me. Remember his attack? It would be a disaster if he panics there, and I am with him.“
„YA PET! GET OVER HERE!“ he heard his hyung's voice... and the vibration of fear in it.

Taehyung´s heart was racing.
That damn pet.

He forced himself not to look up. It was high.

Whatever. This pet would get it.

He started climbing up.

„Hyung... we don´t have to do that. I meant it as a joke.“

„You called me a coward.“ Taehyung was pissed.

„I didn´t! I just wanted to tease you!“ the alien whined under him.

„Whatever.“

„Hyung!“

„Get your damn up here, or I´ll top for the rest of this year.“

Jungkook followed him.

Taehyung body slowed down. „Aish...“ he forced himself to take a deep breath and continued climbing.

„Tae, come down, okay?“

„No. And your damn pouting won´t help this time.“

„Try it.“

Taehyung´s turned and looked down at his face.

Jungkook pouted.

„See? Not working.“ Taehyung tried to suppress the fear.

„Hyung.“

„Stop annoying me.“

„Hyung, I am serious. Please come down.“

They arrived at the platform.

The guide started to put on the safety ropes and explained them.

Taehyung was fighting with himself. But the pride won.

„Let´s see if the owner follows the pet.“ Jimin mumbled.

Jungkook was close to throwing himself down the platform for his ing stupidity.
