Chapter 6: The Stolen Kiss -Part 1-

**

It was another busy Saturday night at Moonshot cafe

“Wonder why our male customers increased?” Seungwan asked amusedly

“Obviously because of this charming waitress” Sooyoung pointed to herself

Seungwan snickered “For the past 2 years, our customers have mostly been female. Who do you think you are fooling?”

“Hmph!” sooyoung huffed while crossing her arms, not amused

"Welcome to Moonshot!" Seungwan greeted another customer, a bunch of teenage guys, probably around Joohyun’s age, and she led them to sit near the corner. The only vacant space in the cafe.

“So how may I help you gentleman?” she was very much gentle to her customer

The teens looked at each other before one of them bravely spoke to Seungwan

“Can we have Joohyun noona to attend us?” he asked politely

And Seungwan had to suppress her laugh, this was not the first time a bunch of teenagers are asking for Joohyun to attend them. She was like the most wanted princess of Moonshot Cafe right now.

“I’m sorry but she is busy attending to another customer”

The teens sighed, disappointed

“But...I will let her serve your food if you guys order a lot”

The teens immediately ordered almost everything in the menu

Seungwan laughed inside, maybe she should hire another teen waitress, she would be rich in no time.

“Alright guys, I’m very happy tonight” Seungwan was all smiling

Obviously in a good mood

“Our income has increased about 50% tonight, this is the first time since Moonshot was opened!” she added

Seulgi clapped her hands, already thinking of some BBQ treat from the owner

“Good job everyone!” Seungwan said “Now let's go home”

...

“That’s it?” seulgi asked in disbelief

“Yes”

“I thought we were gonna celebrate our success with free dinner” Sooyoung pouted excessively

Meanwhile Joohyun was all silent, looking at the three adult

“This is only the beginning. When our income increases about 1000%, i’ll treat you guys to dinner”

“Yeah, that will happen like in 30 years later” sooyoung snorted

“Hey be positive” seungwan scolded her friend

“Positive my @ss! You're just a stingy old woman!” Seulgi took her bag “Come on guys, let her close this place”

Joohyun hesitatingly followed her aunt, she was dead tired...especially tonight. She wondered why there were a lot of customers asking for her.

“Hey, where are you going guys? Seungwan shouted “YAH!”

“I think i’ll help seungwan unnie” Joohyun quietly said when they had reached the intersection

“Are you kidding me?” Seulgi asked in disbelief

“No I'm not, bye unnies”

She waved her little baby hand before running back to the cafe

Tonight, she discovered one thing about seungwan that ‘she is stingy’ but then it wasn’t the first time she met this stingy version of Seungwan.

Few weeks ago, when they were shopping for groceries in the nearby market

Seungwan had to fight for 2 cents! 2 freaking cents...

The seller finally gave up and told her to just pay for it and never come back to his stall again

When she asked the older girl why she was so persistent because it was just 2 cents anyway

Joohyun ended up being lectured by her for an hour about stuff being wise in using money...oh God, for a second, joohyun saw an ahjumma talking in front of her not a 23 years old woman

Another one was when they were looking for cafe decorations.

Hallowen was coming so Seungwan decided to put a theme on the cafe.

They were practically lurking around downtown Seoul just to buy the purplish blue lantern that she saw on the internet. She didn't want to go home before she got the lantern.

Seulgi and Sooyoung had already given up hours ago, but Joohyun and her sister insisted on accompanying Seungwan.

After 4 hours of constant searching, they finally found the lantern that she wanted but after hearing the price, Seungwan decided not to buy it because it was ‘too pricey.

‘Just forget about those stupid lantern’ she said it with a flat voice and Joohyun remember that she really wanted to bang her head on the wall repeatedly that day. Her feet hurt for nothing!

Seulgi already warned her about Seungwan's tendency to change her mind constantly but she kept insisting on accompanying the older girl.

The reason?

She wasn’t sure but she liked to see a determined seungwan, it was charming (in her eyes).

That's why even though Seungwan had those turn off traits like stingy nagging ahjumma who fancied the silliest thing, Joohyun still had a soft feeling for her.
