Seungwan caressed her cheeks “I lost my parents too when I was in Jennie age”

“My brother was the only family I had but he was too absorbed in his own selfish self, he completely changed after our parents death. He never had time for me, he never listened to me. He wasn't even there to protect me when I was bullied at school. Had no one to lean on, I’ve tried to kill myself and hospitalized several times until I met someone who willingly helped me to get back on my feet”

Joohyun gasped with the revelation of Seungwan’s past

“I tell you this because i don't want Jennie to experience those horrible things” Seungwan said softly

“Moreover I don't want her to hate you like I hate my own brother”

Joohyun never thought that this seungwan, this dictator seungwan, had an awful past

“And don’t ever think that I treat you both differently because I’m not. I treat you as an adult because I believe you won’t like it if you are treated like a child, right?”

Joohyun nodded, she wanted to be treated as an adult.

“You should say sorry to Seulgi and Sooyoung for your attitude earlier also your sister, she really needs you”

Joohyun lowered her head in shame “I will”

“And I’m sorry too, I was harsh to you” Seungwan apologized earnestly “I should've considered your feeling, you just lost your parents”

Joohyun stared at her, open mouthed ‘too shocked to hear Seungwan apologizing, was it even real?’

Chapter 5: olaf, mikasa and love?

“Seungwan, do you...ooh” sooyoung barged into the kitchen “Sorry to interrupt, you guys can continue on whatever you are going to do. I won't tell Seulgi” and she closed the door while giggling to herself

Seungwan was confused ‘What the??’ until she saw her own hands still on Joohyun’s cheeks, her eyes widened

Sooyoung must've thought that seungwan was going to kiss joohyun

The young cafe owner immediately removed her hands from Joohyun’s face. The sudden action made the later woke up from her shocked state

“Huh?” finally she came back to earth “What happened?” maybe Joohyun didn't even realize that sooyoung was there seconds ago

“That giant, misunderstand things” seungwan sighed audibly

“Giant...what?” joohyun didn't quite catch her words

Seungwan cleared “Nothing...let’s get back to work”

That night, Jennie's loud laugh can be heard from the sibling’s room

Seulgi was so happy, she kept thanking seungwan. Much to her annoyance.

“Shut up, I’m trying to re-watch frozen!”

“Meanie” seulgi pouted “But hey, what did you say to Joohyun? I was so shocked when she said sorry to me and sooyoung while crying. I was so angry with her attitude before but now not anymore”

“Just stuff”

“What stuff?”

“Even if i explain it to you, you won’t understand it with your super tiny brain, so forget it” Seungwan yawned tiredly

“Yah!” the taller girl threw a cushion angrily and it landed on Seungwan’s face

“How dare you!” Seungwan took the cushion, throwing it back to the scared bear

Few days later

Moonshot cafe, 04.00 PM

Seungwan was out to buy groceries.at the market

“Tomorrow is Wan's unnie birthday!” Jennie said loudly after checking on her diary

So you see, seungwan made it into her diary, that’s impressive

“Really?” seulgi checked her facebook “OMO, you are right!”

“Should I bake a cake?” Sooyoung asked herself “Oh yeah, I should!”

joohyun put down her book, she was in the middle of studying for an exam

“How old is Seungwan unnie?”

“Same age as me” seulgi answered with a smile “Why?”

“I'm just curious because she looks so mature and calm”

“Of course. That’s why she is my best friend, we both are mature and calm” seulgi said proudly, while joohyun just eyed her, clearly not agreeing with her

“She is always in a good mood on her birthday” seulgi explained more “Once she treated me to lunch. All you can eat!”

“Unnie always treats me to lunch whenever she fetch me from school” Jennie beamed proudly

“Are you serious?” sooyoung asked in disbelief

“Yes unnie” Jennie nodded “Wannie is kind, i’ll draw her something”

“Wannie??”

“Yeah, Seungwan + unnie. Wannie” Jennie explained

Joohyun was lost in her own thoughts, maybe i should buy her something, afterall she let us stay for this long in her flat

Next day, at an unknown mall in Hongdae

“What can I buy for a 23 years old female?” joohyun asked the shopkeeper innocently, she was wasting half an hour there and still undecided

“Maybe a shirt or jacket? We have a lot of choices”

Joohyun blushed shyly “I don’t have much money. Shirts are just too expensive. Can you suggest something else?”

The shopkeeper smiles “Then maybe accessories will do? Or something like a scrunchie, belt or cute phone strap. Follow me”

Joohyun walked behind her until something caught her eyes

“Excuse Me, how much does it cost?”

“This one? ₩12.500 it’s on sale today”

“Oh, I’ll have it then”

“Are you sure?”

Joohyun nodded eagerly, her eyes shone brightly “I’m very sure. She likes this character the most. She watches it every other night”

“Really?”

“Yes, she’s the happiest when she watches it plus blue is her favorite color”

The shopkeeper laughed “God, why are you so cute? She’s sure so blessed to have you as her girlfriend”

The shop was famous among couples so the shop keeper just assumed that Joohyun was buying a gift for her lover

“She isn’t my girlfriend!”

“Oh I thought...sorry” the shop keeper wasn’t convinced

Joohyun's face was bet red

“As an apology, I’ll give you a phone strap for free” the shopkeeper said as she prepared joohyun’s gift

“Umm, you don’t have to ma’am”

“No, I insist” the shopkeeper put the strap in a small plastic bag along with joohyun’s gift

“Here you go, make a cute couple okay ...oops hoho”

“Aish” Joohyun was frustrated and flustered at the same time

Later at night, 09:00 PM

“Did my eyes play a trick or you guys are acting weirdly”

“NO we are NOT” Seul Soo Hyun and Jen said in unison

Seungwan looked at them suspiciously

“What are you doing here, Sooyoung?”

“Can’t I visit my boss’s house?” sooyoung pouted

Seungwan scoffed “You only visit me when you need something, what do you want? FYI, I dont have money for you to borrow”

“Gosh! You have such a negative mind!” Sooyoung faked a hurt on her face

Seulgi laughed “But she is right, you only come when you need something”

“Shut up, Seul” sooyoung glared at her before smiling sweetly at seungwan “I’m here because I am a good worker and friend”
