Chapter 4 Do you hate me that much?

**

Saturday night, Moonshot cafe.

Seulgi looked at joohyun with sadness written in her face and Sooyoung noticed it

“What's wrong with your face, did you eat something bad last night?”

“I only ate your pasta”

“Oh” Sooyoung tilted her head “Did I accidentally put poison into your pasta?”

Seulgi instantly looked at her, her face went pale “You did?”

“I was kidding” the taller girl grinned “If I really put something in, you won’t be standing here now”

“Damn, you shocked me” Seulgi said while frowning “Actually, I'm just worried about Hyun”

“What about her?”

“I don't like her ‘helping’ us here”

“But you agreed”

“Yeah because I can't say no to such a lovely bunny face” Seulgi sighed “She should be going out somewhere with her friends instead of working here”

“Boyfriends?”

“GIRLFRIENDS!” Seulgi glared at her friend “This is Saturday night but look at her, she is stuck here wiping that damn table”

Sooyoung looked at Joohyun “But that's what she wanted to do, her situation is different and she knows it. Believe me she is happy here with us, my sixth sense can feel it”

“You have sixth sense?” O_O

“Of course not” Sooyoung snickered “Are you plainly stupid or ...really stupid??”

“YAH!”

“Can you two stop flirting?” Seungwan said, she was absolutely annoyed with her friends “We are busy here”

“We are not flirting!” Seulgi frowned “Who's gonna like a giant like her?!..Owww”

sooyoung smacked Seulgi’s head as she walked to greet customers

Seungwan crossed her hand “Then move your , I pay you to work not chit chatting!”

“Remember the rule, be disciplined, professional and HARD WORKING! Or else i’ll cut your salary”

“God, Seungwan! Why are you so annoying??” Seulgi grumbled

“Thanks for your compliment” seungwan said flatly “Now get to work”

“You...Aish!” Seulgi stomped her feet and went to take order

Joohyun giggled upon seeing the banter between her aunt and Seungwan, a daily drama in this cafe and Seulgi will always be the victim of dictator seungwan.

But her giggle stopped as soon as she caught seungwan glaring at her.

She immediately made herself busy, she was a bit afraid of the cafe owner.

Once a month, every Wednesday, the cafe is closed.

Additional day off for the employees.

Seulgi was out in the morning to buy groceries and Joohyun went to school, leaving Seungwan and a sick jennie

“Here we go my day off” seungwan said while cooking porridge for the younger girl

Seulgi and joohyun begged her to take care of jennie

After giving her final touch to the porridge (such a perfectionist) Seungwan went to J&J’s room

She set the tray on the table beside the bed

“Mommy” jennie mumbled in her sleep

Seungwan checked her forehead with her palm, it was better than last night. Jennie caught a fever in the middle of the night.

“Daddy?” jennie opened her eyes slowly

“I’m not your daddy. Now eat”

Jennie shook her head and cried “I miss mommy and daddy”

“I know but they’re not here anymore. You need to get better so eat”

Jennie shook her head again

Seungwan sighed “Your sister will be sad seeing you like this. You want to see her sad?”

Upon hearing about her sister, Jennie stopped crying

“So finish this porridge” Seungwan offered her the spoon

“Seungwan unnie, I really miss daddy”

“I know” Seungwan patted her head “I miss mine too”

“You do?”

Seungwan nodded and motioned for Jennie to keep eating “Probably they have met your parents up there”

“Why did they leave me alone?”

“You are not alone, you have your sister”

Jennie put the spoon down, indicating that she doesn't want to eat anymore “She doesn’t love me anymore”

“She never plays with me like she used to. She didn’t even look at my drawing when I showed it to her yesterday”

Seungwan gave her a glass of milk

“She loves you, she's just tired of school work” Seungwan took the drawing book that was neatly placed beside the bed and looked at it. Jennie was really good at drawing.

“It's really good” seungwan said, genuinely complimenting her

Jennie's eyes twinkled with excitement “Really?”

Seungwan nodded “I like your drawing”

“My dad was a painter” Jennie's eyes brims with tears “He teached me how to draw”

Seungwan wiped her tears with her thumb “He must be proud of you”

“Now you should sleep and get better so you can draw me something, master Jennie”

Jennie's mood lightened upon hearing it and she gave her a nod.

“Sleep tight”

Afternoon, Seungwan's flat.

She was sitting in the living room, watching Spongebob with an unamused face when Joohyun arrived from school.

“Unnie, thank you“

Seungwan looked at joohyun

“For?” Her brows furrowed

“Taking care of Jennie”

“Do you know why she is sick?”

Joohyun shook her head

“It's because of you”
