It Always Work
Dancing With Our Hands Tied: The Series"Hey, hey, hey!" The sudden opening of the door caused several heads to turn around to the direction of the origin of the voice.
The president stands up from her desk to greet the unexpected visitor. "Drew, to what do we owe this..." Aeri waves her hand a little like she's looking for the right words to say. "visit?" The president's voice trails off with a soft smile.
Andrew closes the door behind him and walks towards the direction of the couch where a lone Ningning was sitting. He looks down at the couch then back at Aeri like he was asking for permission to sit down. The president was quick to notice his actions and gladly smiled and nodded at him.
"I'm actually looking for Jimin but since I haven't seen her for days now I decided to ask her best friend."
"Jimin? The athletes are all given a one week break to rest so she'll be back by Monday as well as the other athletes."
Andrew's eyes widen when he finally comprehends the reason why some of his friends have been missing in action ever since the party at his house last Friday.
"Oh that's why Jongshin is nowhere to be seen too."
Aeri nodded at the visitor. "So is that all that I can help you with?" She offered while still standing in front of him.
"Well since I'm already here, might as well ask for some feedback from the party last Friday." Andrew says as he eases his back on the couch. His posture saying that he's confident about the words that are about to come his way.
Aeri shakes her head laughing as she settles down on the couch, sitting in between Andrew and Ningning. "Well it was great for sure. But was the free cigarettes really necessary?"
"It was!" John shouted from his seat.
"Oh shut up! You were literally choking when I saw you smoking by the pool!" And with Anna's remark, all of the students inside the office erupted in laughter save for the silent vice president sitting diligently while going through her papers.
Now this is what Andrew wanted to hear. It sure does boost his ego even more knowing that even the university officers enjoyed his party.
"But I really want to hear what Ningning has to say." He says as he crane his neck to glance at the secretary who was sitting on the other end of the couch.
Ningning stands up and heaves a deep sigh. "A nine out of ten." She says simply before grabbing a bottle of water that was sitting on the table.
"Oh come on Ning. A nine? Really?" Andrew groans not quite believing what he just heard.
"Nine? Just nine, Ningning?" Even Anna couldn't believe how the secretary rated the party last Friday night. She's always been with Ningning every single party that the top students throw and by far Andrew's party last Friday was top tier.
Andrew pointed at Anna then looks at Ningning who was cooly drinking her water. The secretary rolls her eyes. "I didn't get laid so your party is a nine."
"And how is that my party's problem?" Andrew asks more lightly this time. The officers inside the room was shaking their heads in disbelief at the secretary's bluntness.
Ningning only shrug her shoulders as if to say, I don't know before going back to her desk.
"Well at least Jimin got some action last Friday." Andrew says grinning as he stands up from the couch and faced the president. "Here," Andrew muttered smiling as he handed Jimin's varsity jacket to Aeri which the swimming captain left at Andrew's room last Friday. "Whoever that student is might be really that good for Jimin to forget about her jacket."
"Well lucky them." Aeri says with a smile as she walk Andrew to the door.
"Ningning," Andrew calls out before going out. "Next time I'll make sure you'll get some action. I'll set you up if you want!"
The secretary raises her middle finger at him while smiling widely as the door shuts before him and the other officers can't help but laugh at the secretary's antics.
"They're two minutes late." Minjeong whispers to Mr. Jung who was sitting beside him. After her classes, Minjeong went straight to their company's office for a quarterly meeting where she was met by her parents.
Patience was never her forté. But if someone would look at Minjeong, no trace of boredom or anger can be seen. The only person in the gigantic room that can read the blonde was her butler and that is only because he has been with her every since the girl was in her diapers.
As much as Minjeong tried to hide it, Mr. Jung could tell that her lady was a bit jumpy ever since he picked her up from the university earlier. The reason? That is what he doesn't know.
Five minutes later, the rest of the board of directors finally showed themselves and took each respective seats around the table. With her pen and note pad in hand, Minjeong was finally able to get a grip of herself. If she wasn't taught by her parents to always respect their business
