Everyone arrived safe and sound from the airport.

After greeting and introductions they went to their rooms to rest and freshen up.

Mom ended up taking a nap which was fine as we were all caught up in the game and dinner wasn't for another hour or so.

Maddy hit it off splendidly with both Josh and Terrance's parents much to his delight.

I can tell by the way he looks at her that he hasn't given up yet.

So, it will be interesting to see what happens between the two of them.

 

4 hours later:

Dinner was a huge success I am so full is ridiculous now all I want to do is take a nap!

It is barely 8pm and I want to go to bed already.

Everyone helps and we get the kitchen all cleaned and the food put away in Tupperware with the plan being to eat the leftovers tomorrow.

Maddy decided to stay over with us until Monday and I am thrilled.

We left out to go to her house to get her some clothes.

We got there and back in record time as there was no traffic on the road and in Manhattan that is truly a Christmas miracle.

To my surprise she purchased gifts for everyone even all the parents.

"Oh, Maddy that was so sweet of you I know they will be thankful to get whatever you got." Josh said.

"Oh, it's nothing major." She blushed at Josh.

Terry just stared her and all his feelings showing on his face.

I felt my face get hot just looking at them.

Oh boy if they aren't together by New Year’s, I will be shocked!

Our parents retired to bed by 10pm and we stayed up playing Jenga, scrabble and charades.

Of course, it turned into a battle of the es and Maddy and I smoked the boys.

"Man, ya'll cheated!" Terry whined.

"I'd like to know how you cheat at Jenga?" Maddy asked him.

"Right!" I yell and crack up.

"Stop being a sore loser sir." She says to him, and he grins at her.

"Josh back me up man, you saw them cheating too, right?"

"Hey man my name is bennet and I ain't in it."

Maddy and I fall out laughing.

"Aww man you ain't right what kind of partner are you?"

Josh just shrugs and winks at me and I blow him a kiss.

By midnight I am faltering, having been up since 5am cooking I need to go to bed right now.
