Kaninang AdvProg, Winter asked me if pwede siyang sumabay samin na mag lunch mamaya.

It came as a surprise to me not because dinecline niya yung pag aya ko the past two days, but because siya ang nag invite this time.

I think nasanay na din kasi ako as the one inviting her every time. 

It made me happy for a second until maalala ko na lagi kong kasabay sila Jaemin, Mark and Jeno na mag lunch sa comp shop every Wednesday. Yun kasi ang game day naming apat. 

But since eto ang first time na siya ang nag invite, I didn’t want to pass up this opportunity to hang out and get closer to her. And so, sinabi ko sa kanya na pwede ko siya samahan mag lunch.

Kahit na madalas kami nagchachat ni Winter, iba pa rin talaga pag kausap mo ang isang tao in person. 

I find it interesting na contrasting ang personality niya kapag magka chat kami versus kapag kasama ko siya.

She’s usually dry and direct sa chat at minsan may pagka random din siya sa mga sinasabi niya, pero in person I can feel na medyo shy pa rin siya lalo na kapag wala si Ning. 

Although she could get really comfortable kapag kasama si Ning. 

May mga times na nag jojoke around sila and they get really loud and hyper but not to the point it gets annoying. It’s actually very endearing watching their banters.

That afternoon, nagsimula kami ni Ning sa paggawa ng props while the other three started their skit practice.

Napapatingin kami ni Ning sa practice nila from time to time, and at one point hindi napigilan ni Ning na tumawa sa acting ni Winter.

Medyo awkward kasi yung acting niya as Misa. Hindi ko na naman siya masisisi dahil cute and bubbly ang personality ni Misa which is totally different kay Winter.

She tried her best though, and kita ko na gusto niyang mag improve.

Na-interrupt yung practice nila nang dumating yung team nila Ate Sakura.

Pinakilala kami ni Kuya Jungwoo sa cosplayers nila Ate Sakura na sila Nagyung and Soobin. Nakita na namin sila last time before kami umalis ng team papuntang Divisoria. 

Kimi ni Todoke yung anime na icocosplay nila and hindi ako masyadong familiar dito. They’re both tall and good-looking though so I think couple yung icocosplay nila. 

While introducing ourselves, bigla akong tinanong ni Soobin kung hindi daw ako magcocosplay. I told him na sa props and logistics lang ako then he suddenly told me na sayang daw dahil he thinks I’d look pretty as any anime character.

I was flattered by his compliment pero I’m not used to getting one kaya natahimik lang ako.

Ning told me na mukhang type daw ako ni Soobin cause he keeps on looking at our direction. 

I’m not sure how she could tell by only that dahil ngayon ko lang na-meet si Soobin and I know nothing about him, kaya I just ignored it and tumuloy lang ako sa paggawa ng props namin.

After ilang hours, almost done na kami ni Ning sa paggawa ng Death Note notebooks. Kailangan lang namin patuyuin yung covers and yung mga lettering on it.

We then discussed yung plan ng team para sa next meeting and came to a consensus na kami na lang ni Winter ang babalik for the fitting dahil need masukat ng boys yung inorder namin na wigs para sa kanila.

Paalis na dapat kami ng team nang biglang lumapit si Soobin at hiningi ang number ko.

He asked if we can become friends kasi ang ganda ko daw. 

I can see through him but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt kaya pumayag ako. 

I guess it’s in my nature, lalo na kapag ako ang unang in-approach which doesn’t really happen often.

I prefer to see the good in people, until proven otherwise.

That was also the reason why I wanted to be friends with Winter. She approached and helped me without hesitation.

Winter and I decided na mag bus na lang papuntang Divisoria the next day.

I know malapit na mag rush hour pero marami namang dumadaan na bus pa-Lawton kaya I don’t think mahihirapan kaming makasakay agad.

Unfortunately, almost every bus na dumaan ay standing na, and kinakailangan na namin umalis dahil baka late na kami makarating sa tailoring shop.

As someone na sumasakay ng bus day in and day out, sanay na sanay nako sa tayuan at siksikan lalo na kapag mag isa akong nagcocommute during rush hour.

What I’m not used to, is the fact na si Winter ang sumisiksik sa akin instead of a random stranger.

Nahihirapan siyang abutin ang handrail kaya sa upuan na lang siya kumapit. 

Medyo funny lang kasi she’s trying her best to keep her balance kapag nagbbreak si kuya driver, yet she keeps on stumbling towards my side which made her a bit agitated.

She looked like a cute puppy. Like an angry maltese.

I can’t help but giggle inside but I did my best to suppress my smile para hindi niya makita.

As we’re nearing the next stop, someone asked Winter to move para makadaan palabas ng bus. 

No one was budging though, kaya I put my arms around her shoulder and quickly pulled her to my side without thinking, nang biglang nag break ng malakas yung bus. 

Muntik na kaming mapasubsob na dalawa papunta sa unahan, pero buti na lang at hindi ko tuluyang nabitawan ang handrail. She held onto me well and before I realized, magkayakap na pala kami.

Agad siyang lumayo and nag sorry sa akin.

I just froze and could not utter a single word.

I don’t know why.
