Taehyung's PoV

I felt something wrapped around my waist, that's when I open my eyes slowly to know what that thing was. A hand. A smile made its way on my lips when I realize whose hand that was. Waking up besides the love of my life will never cease to make my heart pound in happiness. And it's so rare to have her around these days, let alone waking up next to her. My biggest dream is to wake up with her, each and every morning, kissing her nose, cuddling her until she wakes up wrapping her hands around my neck and kiss my lips.

I pulled her frame closer to mine, her face mere inches away as I caress her soft baby-like cheek fondly. Her soft snores were music to my ears, relieved that she is finally getting some good sleep she deserved. I had a good night's sleep too. It sure as hell is true that, you sleep soundly and without a care of world, when you cuddle and sleep with the person you love. I needed this kind of slumber really bad. It kind of recharged me, fueled my exhausted body. Now I am as good as new.

Sliding the loose strands falling over her beautiful face behind her ears, I place a light kiss on her forehead. She looks like an angel sleeping so peacefully that my heart fills with butterflies. Its time like this when I realize how truly pretty she is. Of course, both inside and out. And I keep wondering how did I get so lucky to have her in my life, I don't deserve her. But then I decide to cherish the fruits of my luck, instead of overthinking and seeking answers. I stare at her face for few minutes before getting up to freshen up.

I am glad I decided to take the day off and spend time with her.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I realized it's still too early to wake my sleeping fairy up. So I decide to go gym; I have been so busy and lazy these past week that I didn't get time to exercise, at all. Returning almost at midnight after a hectic day, I couldn't even think of idea of exercising. I was barely getting time to eat and sleep, exercising was last thing on my list.

Rushing to the closet, I change into my gym outfit and before leaving the room, I glance at y/n to make sure she is sleeping without any interruption. I walked towards her, pulling the cover till her chin, kissing her forehead one last time, I step out of the room.

I didn't know how much time has passed until I realized a pair of eyes on me. This is the thing about gym, once I start working out; I wouldn't realize how much time flew away. I flicker my eyes in the direction of door, while doing push ups, only to meet with two soft eyes staring at me intently. I smile, standing up back on my feet, as I grabbed the towel to wipe the sweat around my neck. She mirrored my smile and said,

"May I come in?" She asks playfully, biting her bottom lip.

"You don't need permission to enter, baby." I chuckle, taking support of the side of the table, my eyes locked with hers.

"I am wondering if I will be able to survive the heat in this room. You're so hot, I might just get a heart attack." She says teasingly, walking towards me very slowly, like a toddler. She was just few steps away from me, when I pulled her close harshly, making her soft frame fall on me. She gasps at my sudden action and I only smirk cheekily, snaking my arms tightly around her waist; I earn an eye roll from her. I giggle and connect our heads.

"Well, you can't have heart attack. I am protecting it too well." I whisper ily, brushing my lips against her ear lobe. He breath got uneven and I knew my charm was working. It always works on her.

"How paradoxical it is that, you're the one protecting it and you're also the one who is threat to it." She says in a very low voice before sighing loudly "Who allowed you to do gym without shirt?"

"Is it affecting you, baby girl?" I tease, biting her ear lobe and she bobbed her head rapidly before swallowing thickly, apparently no words were seemed to come out of and I found it cute. I cupped her cheeks softly as she closes her eyes, leaning further into warmth of my hand. My thumb rubbed circles onto her skin as she breathes in relief.

"Did you get good sleep last night?" She asks, her eyes still closed.

"I sleep as if I am on clouds, when you cuddle me to sleep." I reply, matter-of-factly.

"But—" She shot open her eyes, looking straight into my eyes "But you seemed to have a nightmare last night."

"I had?" I ask as she nods slightly. Honestly, I can't recollect having a nightmare last night but I do remember her wrapping her hands around me protectively. She tilts her head, mainly in concern as if scanning my facial expressions.

I sigh and let go of her, raising my hip to sit on the table I was leaned onto. Though we had fair height difference, sitting on the table made both our eyes to be on same level. I wrapped my both legs around her legs, locking her body in between, as I pulled her closer.
