Taehyung's PoV

While lying comfortably with y/n alongside me, a sudden wave of calmness rushed through my uncalming nerves, mind and body. I could hear her soft breaths hitting my warm skin, as she was inhaling and exhaling ever so lightly and it somehow was soothing me. The girl I love so dearly is right next to me, and that's exactly where I want to be, forever.

Home is a place where you go to, to ease your pain, suffering and anxiety; a place where you heal, where you can breath in relief; the place where you can be yourself fully; a safe place.

For some it's a place, whilst for others, they find it in a person. 

In my case, Y/n is my home; a place where I belong, where I feel like I belong, I matter, I am enough and I'm loved.

My hands finds their way into her soft wavy hairs, running through them, slowly, making her hum in response. Her hands were on my chest, travelling up and down, calming down my anxieties, healing me.

"So?? What do you want to talk about?" She asked, her hands still moving slowly on my chest.

I inhaled a deep breath to calm my nerves before breaking out completely,

"Liz.. I think she's still into me." 

"And?" She asked softly, her hands now halted their actions as they rested on my chest.

"And I don't know what to do!" I spoke in a low voice, frustrated by the situation as my hands shifted from her hairs to her back, pulling her closer; not wanting to let her go.

"Have you told her how you feel about her?" She asked as she raised her head from my chest, her eyes meeting mine.

"I've tried, I've hinted her that I like someone, but I don't think she understood fully." I sighed harshly.

"Hmm.. It's fine. We will try again. Don't stress about it." She said, as she cupped my cheeks, her thumbs running circles across my cheeks.

"Aren't you mad?" I asked narrowing my eyes, as they scanned even the slightest emotion on her face and clearly she was hurt, if not mad.

"I'm not mad, tae! Why would I be?" She said softly as she leaned in, to kiss my forehead, before resting it on mine.

"I thought—" 

"No— I know what you're thinking, but I'm not mad. Whatever you're doing is solely because your dad wants you to do it. I would never be mad at you for going out with her as long as I know, your heart belongs here, with me." She smiled, making me smile too. The breath I was unconsciously holding, found it's way out as I exhaled in relief.

"Not only my heart but my whole self belong to you, babe." I declared as I raised her forehead to kiss it softly, making her chuckle.

"I belong to you, too." She replied, making my breath hitch in my throat, in excitement.

"How did I get so lucky?" I asked in disbelief, she laid her head on my chest once again, her nose buried in my chest.

"Whatever you did, I must have done the same, as I got lucky as well." She whispered in low voice, making me giggle.

"You'll never leave me, will you?" I asked, my hands on her back, travelling up and down slowly as she shook her head. I smiled in happiness, kissing her head as I closed my eyes.

"Is it too much to bear?" She spoke, breaking the peaceful silence.

"What is?" I asked, fluttering my eyes open.

"Your dad forcing you." She replied.

"You've no idea how much of suffocating it is. I can't believe he's treating me like a business asset." I sighed.

"Why is he doing that anyway?" She asked, looking at me.

"Um— you see liz's dad is a billionaire and has well-flourished bussiness in abroad. Besides that, my dad and him have been best of friends since they were of our age. And my dad being the witty bussinessman that he is, wants me to marry Liz in order to acquire their empire as well."  

"H- He wants you to marry Liz?" She asked in shock, her eyes widened, making me realize I should not have said that. I mentally slapped myself for breaking out like this as this was the last thing y/n should know right now.

"I- I" I stuttered.

"Hah." She scoffed "I knew it, that would be the case. That's why she was clinging onto you as if her life was depended on you. What about her? Does she want to marry you?" She asked, her eyes looking straight into my eyes, to find nothing but truth.

"Umm—" 

"Of course, she wants to." She cuts me off "It's so obvious, she wants to marry you." She let go of me, pulling up from my chest as she sat on the side of the bed, making me sit up as well, my hand immediately tried to grab her hand before she yanked it away.

"Sugar—" I said in a low voice, disappointed with her actions.

"I think I should go, Tae. It's late. See you tomorrow." She spoke, looking away from me before standing up.

"You can't leave like this. We can talk." I grabbed her hand as she was leaving, pausing her on her tracks as she looks in my eyes.

"What is there to talk about, tae?" She asked, looking down, her eyes welled up, making my heart swell thinking I'm the reason of her tears, once again.

"That I want to marry you." I spoke, honestly looking at her face as she raised her head, darting her eyes into mine.

"You want to?" She asked, in a low voice, her eyes inspecting my face in anticipation.

"Of course, baby." I replied, softly, as I moved closer to her, my hands cupped her face, my thumbs wiping her now wet cheeks.

"Of course. I mean not now, but one day. One day when I'll be the man who's capable to take care of you, to support you and protect you from all the harm, when I'll be completely free from my dad's control, I'll ask you to marry me. I want to have a small happy family with you, that we both didn't get to have. You will marry me, right?"

"I'll think about it. Ask me again, one day." She replied playfully, sniffing her cry, smiling brightly, her nose red making me tear up as well. But in happiness and relief. I
