So it's Sunday morning finally. Honestly, I couldn't sleep at all, it's my first official date with sugar after  all. I've it all planned, I just hope she likes the date. Frankly, I'm nervous. IDK why. It's not like I'm going out with her for the first time, right? 
Why is my heart beating this fast?

May be because, it would be an unusual date, not a normal one where a boy takes his date to some fancy romantic restaurant and then to a movie and then back home. NOOO. This date would be soo much more than that. This date would be purest in the form, more heartfelt, more lovely. She would like it, wouldn't she?

*Hour later*

It is 10 am. I am in my car ready to drive at Y/N's house. I am bit nervous. This will go well, right?? Thinking of as many positive things as I could, I drove to her house.

My outfit:

After 15 mins of long drive, I finally reached my destination. I'm in front of her house. Should I give her flowers? But, wouldn't that be too cliché?  I don't want this date to be stereotypical.

Pushing all my baffled thoughts back in my head, I muster up the courage to walk to her door.

*Rings door bell*

"Mom, it must be taehyung. Can you please open the door for me?" I could hear Y/N yelling from her room.

Soon her mom opened the door and smiled widely at me.

"OMO. Look at you! You look astonishingly handsome!!" Auntie exclaimed.

"You're too kind, auntie. Thank you!!"

"Come, have a seat. Let's have breakfast together." She said before leading me to the couch in hall.

"Oh no no, auntie. Please don't bother. We can't have breakfast with you today. As you already know we are going on date." I said giving a smirk.

"How can I possibly forget that you guys are finally going on date?!!! My daughter is soo anxious and  nervous and excited, she bothered me all night long. Take her on date already." She giggled.

"Where is she?" I chuckled.

"She's still getting ready. She has changed her outfits for like 20 times already." She said.

"I've only changed my outfit for 5 times not 20 times, Mom !!" Y/N complained while coming downstairs.

I looked at her and got lost (like always). She's beautiful and I am soo used to get lost in her beauty that I don't even mind staring at her.

Her outfit:

"Uhm uhm." She cleared her thought (clearly blushing) to bring me back to my senses.

"H-hii." I said scratching my neck.

"Hii" She said while giving me her angelic smile.

"We are running late. We should get going, shall we?" I asked her while pulling my hand out to grab her hand.

She nodded and placed her hands on mine immediately and intertwined them. Had I ever admitted this before that whenever she intertwines her soft hands with mine, it gives me butterflies in my stomach. It's one of the best feelings in the world.

"Auntie, please don't worry about y/n. I will take good care of her and bring her back home before it's too late."

"I am not at all worried. You have my trust, son. Have a great date you both. Have fun." She said while placing a quick peck on y/n's cheek lovingly.

"Thanks mom." Y/n said kissing her hands.

"I hope you have a great time." She said before we left.

*In the car*

"So now tell me where are we going?" She asked as soon as I started driving.

"First, We are going to a restaurant for brunch." I replied not looking away from the road.

She didn't say anything; she seemed a lil confused and disappoined. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it lightly before kissing them.

"Baby, I'm taking you to eat brunch as the place we are going for our date is far away from here. So we need to eat before we head to our destination."

She smiled and nodded in understanding. Her eyes lit as we pulled over near the restaurant. She got out of the car and

"Tae, this is the restaurant-"

"Yes this is the restaurant we came to, on our 'friendly dinner'." I completed the sentence.

"That was our first time hanging out. And also this is your favourite restaurant!" She exclaimed happily.

"Yess and you're my favorite person to come here with." I said grabbing her hands once again.

We went in . NICE START to the date!

We sat on the table that she chose for us to sit. I followed her like a puppy. She is looking into the menu card and I am looking at her cute expressions. She must be hungry and she looks cuter when she wants food. 

"What would you like to have, Sir?" Waiter asked.

"Umm~" I started 

"We would like to have Japchae and 1 bowl of Jajangmyeon along with 2 bottles of soda. That will be all for now. Thank you." She smiled and gave order. Waiter wrote it down and went away.

"How did you know about my fav dishes?" I asked.

"Do you think that I don't know about your likings? You sugar knows everything, coco." She announced proudly, which made me chuckle.

"Ohh so you know everything about me, great. What is my favourite color?" I asked trying to test her, more like to .

"It's grey" She answered immediately and giggled, which made me shock. She really knows me.

"Okay, COCO - 0. Sugar - 1" I chuckled. A clear smirk on her face as she seemed satisfied with her quick response.

Not long after that  our food arrived.

"Eat a lot, okay?" I said placing my hand on hers and she nodded.

After we were done eating, we went to pay bill to the reception. The receptionist held out the bill and before I could take it, she grabbed it.

"I'll pay." She said.

"You don't have to, sugar. Let me pay." I protested and tried to take the bill from her hands.

"But I WANT TO PAY. Why can't I pay?" She asked a little furiously.

"Because my girl doesn't have to pay when I am around." I said ruffling her hairs and smiled.

"Your girl can pay for date." She argued and held out her card right away. 

The receptionist seemed to be taken aback by our lil argument and when she gave her card to pay the bill, he looked at me confused for confirmation. I knew there's no point in fighting so I nodded and the boy took the card from her hands for payment. 

When he returned the card, she smiled happily and looked at me sticking out her tongue making me chuckle.

Mental note: She's cute when she fights!

She held my hand and led the way to our car. And I followed without uttering a single word. She knew something is off so she asked while we sat on our seats and started driving

"Why are you not speaking anything? Are you angry that I paid?" She asked worryingly.

Noo.. I was not angry. How can I be angry? I was just- I was just amazed by this girl. She never fails to amaze me. I really like it when she rules over me, when she tries to take control over the situation. She looks hot when she's takes the charge.

"Noo. I am just scared of you." I joked putting a straight face.

"Scared of me? Why?" She asked, uncertain what I meant.

"I am scared if I don't listen to you, you'll beat me." I continued joking.

"You are crazy." She giggled and I giggled along with her.

"You are so cute." Words rolled out of my tongue without my permission.

"And You are very generous." She said and looked at the road "I don't like when you pay for me all the time. I can pay too, you now. I don't want this - whatever we are having to be one sided thing. You giving and I taking! I am not talking about only money thing, I am talking in general. You've given me a lot of things. much more valuable than materialistic things. You've given me a lot of affection, lot of care. You've cherished me. You've spoiled me. I want to be able to give a lot to you too, not because I owe you anything. But because you deserve it and I want to give everything to you. I want us to be equal. If you want to be in-charge to make me happy, you have to let me be in-charge of your happiness too. I hope you can understand that."

I smiled and looked at her face. Her eyes still staring at the road, her expressions were distinctly saying that she meant each and every word she just said. And I knew I fell for her more. She doesn't want to be the only one to be in receiving end, she wants me to be on the receiving end too.
