Taehyung's PoV

"Enough of the crap, dad!" I snarled, as I stood up from my place in attempt to walk away, holding y/n's hands.

"I am not marrying Liz. This is my life, and I will live it on my own accord." I said truthfully, my eyes not flickering anywhere but straight into his eyes, boring them.

"Tae-" Dad stood up as well, fury rushing through his veins.

"Oppa-" Liz says in a low voice, as my eyes finally fell on her. Her face was mess. Her eyes were continuosly watering and quite honestly my heart sank at the sight in front of me.

She stood up from her seat, y/n and mom stood up as well, right after. All of our eyes fixed on Liz as she broke,

"So she is your g-girlfriend?" She stuttered, to which I nod.

"That's not possible, oppa. How can you? You knew I have always been in love with you." She cried loudly as the words rolled out of .

"Liz-" I said in a low voice, too scared to hurt her sentiment even more

"I love you too, truly." Her eyes falls on me in surprise as she stops crying, she sniffs softly.

"I adore you so much, Liz. You're like my own family and you know that." I began, trying to coax her

"But I've never loved you as a woman. I have always considered you as my younger sister, Liz. And deep down, you know it too, I've never saw you as a woman. You're like my baby sister!!" I say in a soft voice, walking over to her slowly.

"But oppa- Why?" She yelled in annoyance of being rejected, "Why can't you see me as a woman for once?" She stares at me with cold eyes for a few seconds before she looks at y/n with disgust

"What does this  have that I don't-" She yelled.

"Liz-" I groaned loudly "I told you not to ever talk about y/n like that." I warned, taking a small breath.

"Do you love her that much, oppa? Really? You met her since like what?? 6 months? A year?" She raised her eyebrow in question "We have known eachother for so long. There's no way you're rejecting me for her." She snapped, pointing her finger towards y/n.

My eyes fell on y/n and she was looking at me already. Her features were unreadable as if she was frozen. And it scared me to death.

My eyes stayed on her for fraction of second, as I swallowed the lump formed in my throat. Underrated, I flicker my eyes over to Liz once again.

"I am not rejecting you, Liz. You were not in the list to begin with." I said, frankly placing my hands on her shoulder in attempt to make her accept the truth.

"I have- I have never dated anyone before. I never even glanced at another man, all because of you, Oppa." She yanked my arms away, shaking her head

"I have been in love with you for so long that I can't love anyone else." She announced making me gasp.

"Liz-" I try to convince her

"We are marrying oppa." She said, smirk now forming on her lips "You can not reject me. You have to marry me. Take my responsibility." She demanded.

At that, as if anger boiling in her veins, her unreadable features finally became readable, as y/n walked towards us. I narrow my eyes in surprise, as she doesn't even spare glance at me for once.

"Tae is not marrying you, Liz." She said, flatly, making my eyes widen at her sudden boldness. A small smile playing on her lips as well.

"And who exactly are you to decide that?" Liz scoffs in annoyance, before rolling her eyes.

"The woman he loves so dearly." She said grinning widely "And darling, you've no right whatsoever to force my man to marry you."

"Look, I don't care who you are or what you say, really." Liz snarled before fixing her eyes on me

"But he's mine." She grinned.

"He's not some object or property you would own. He's a ing human being, for god's sake." She raised her voice, threateningly as she adds

"And you guys" She points her index towards liz and then at my dad "y'all need to understand that, for once. Treat him right, the way he deserves, please." She turns to my dad, glaring at him

"He's not some bussiness asset of yours. He is your own blood. He has a lovely heart, he has his own life. Let him live."

My eyes tears up listening to y/n as she stood up for me. Before this, I did know that she understood me, but to this extent, I never knew. However,
after this, I am cent percent sure she does understand me; completely.

And not only does she understands me and loves me, this young woman has the fierceness to stand up for me, even if it is against my own family.

The girl who had never stood up or opposed even once, for everything she's been through, that same girl is standing up for me.

The girl whom I wish to protect from all the harms and adversities, is the one who is protecting me as well.

A QUEEN BEHAVIOUR.

And I think nothing could ever be more heart warming and at the same time, ier than this.

"Y/n is right." My mom spoke, tears falling off her face "Honey, please.. He's happy with y/n. Let him be. We haven't seen him this happier his whole life."
