No One’s POV

 

Seungwan was born into a family of Do-Gooders. Her childhood was great, her family loves her, and she was never belittled into something that could ruin her. Heck, she even got herself a very, freakishly, beautiful, too-good-to-be-true, Aphrodite-like girlfriend that goes by the name Joohyun. Her family were even very supportive of her when she first came out to them and assured her that they loved her just the same. Even Joohyun was always by her side through every decision making she had to make.

 

 

But Seungwan was tired of that.

 

 

Despite all the oh-so-great life she has, she felt like she wasn’t living great enough. Her life was too perfect, too nice, too…kind and that drove her insane. She’s tired of it; being nice, being kind. She wanted to get out of that image for once. And so she thought hey, rebelling sounds like a great idea to tarnish one’s image right? At least maybe people can finally take her seriously

 

 

Everybody in her family are too kind for this world, so she ought to be the unpleasant one instead. Seungwan wanted to be different, she wanted to be bad. Not that she has never baked the entire neighborhood some red velvet cupcakes and purple coloured macarons (curtesy of her beloved girlfriend), but that’s not the point. Seungwan can be bad and she means it! Again, not that she has never tried to be unpleasant once in her life. One time during her childhood years, she stole an egg from a chicken farm thinking “HAHA now Wannie is going to ask mommy cook this egg and eat it!” only to forget about the damn egg she kept in her bag and it hatched into a cute little chick that her parents named Joy. Hence the annoying pet -a-doodle-doo sitting at their family backyard at this very moment. She was surprised that Joy wasn’t their meal yet.

Again, that’s not the point. Seungwan stole an egg and she is bad!

 

 

But Seungwan wants more. Because stealing an egg is like Johnny getting caught eating sugar by papa. It wasn’t even a serious issue. So she had decided to do a more hardcore thing to cross off her list of being unpleasant. This will go down in history of the Son’s. Yes, yes it will. Sounds like a plan. Now, the first thing she has to do is break the news to her girlfriend.

 

 

“Hey Hyun”

 

 

Seungwan chirped as she saw Joohyun gracefully walks into her room and plops right next to her before giving her a squishy hug. Seungwan chuckled at her girlfriend’s antiques

 

 

“What were you doing?? I tried calling you and you didn’t pick up my calls” Joohyun complained while giving out a pout

“Sorry baby, I was up planning the whole day”

“Planning? Planning for what?” Joohyun looked up

 

 

While her fingers slowly brushed through Joohyun’s hair, Seungwan started to think of ways to break down her oh-so-unpleasant news to her girlfriend. Obviously she’s going to freak out right? Joohyun would definitely panic and stop Seungwan before she could even start. At least she has somebody to blame

 

 

“Okay, I’m going to tell you something, but you can’t tell anybody else okay?” Seungwan asked

“…okay?”

 

 

Seungwan kept mum for a while and inhaled deeply

 

 

“I have decided…that I am going to rob a bank”

 

 

She immediately had her eyes tightly shut, waiting for Joohyun’s smack and asking her if she had gone nuts. But then the said smack was nowhere near her face. Seungwan peeked her eyes open

 

 

“Really?” Joohyun responded

“Um…yes?”

 

 

More silence

 

 

“Okay”

 

 

Joohyun shrugged and went back to bury herself in Seungwan’s embrace. Wow, she definitely did not expect that kind of reaction

 

 

“Okay…?”

“Okay” Joohyun clarifies

“You’re not….worried?”

“Do you want me to be worried?”

 

 

Well, maybe a little bit. She is going to rob a bank after all. That’s something everyone should be worried about

 

 

“I….don’t know”

 

 

Joohyun hummed and made herself comfortable before looking up at her hamster-like girlfriend

 

 

“Can I ask why though?”

“Why what?” Seungwan questioned

“The sudden urgency to rob a bank”

“Because I want to be bad” Seungwan pouted

“What’s wrong with being nice?”

“It’s boring. Everybody is too nice. Being bad sounds cool. I want to be cool”

“And what makes you think you can succeed in robbing a bank?”

“Well, I can try”

 

 

Seeing her girlfriend pout was too cute for her liking. Oh my, Joohyun wondered. How can this pure fluffball rob a bank when she looks like this? So she patted Seungwan’s cheek instead

 

 

“Alright, when are you going to rob it?”

“Today!”

 

 

Seungwan chirped. My, my, such an innocent human being. Can’t believe she’s thinking about robbing a bank

 

 

“Today?? No, reschedule it” Joohyun orders

“What? Why?”

“Seungwan, we have a date today”

“Can’t we reschedule the date instead?”

 

 

Joohyun ends up giving her a dead blank stare

 

 

“I-I’ll rob the bank tomorrow”

 

 

No, she is definitely not whipped. Not at all

 

 

“Are you really not worried about me robbing a bank?” Seungwan asked again

“I trust you enough to think like an adult” Joohyun shrugged

“I… don’t really sound like an adult right now”

“Glad you noticed”

 

 

What a sarcastic idiot

 

 

“Why, do you really want me to keep an eye on you while you rob?”

“No! I can be bad” Seungwan snickered

 

 

Joohyun just giggled and intertwined their fingers together before giving Seungwan a peck on the cheek

 

 

“Alright baby, have fun”

 

 

Wow what a joke, she should feel offended.

 

 

 

 

Today is the day Seungwan is going to rob a bank. After the talk she had with Joohyun yesterday, she felt slightly offended that her girlfriend did not take her seriously. At least show her some support?? God, what does a girl need to do to be taken seriously around here?

So today too, she ought of breaking the news to her parents. Maybe her parents reaction won’t be as disappointing. As Seungwan walks down the stairs, she saw her parents and two of her other relatives hanging out in the living room watching TV. With her bag pack hanging loosely on her left shoulder (filled with other item for the said robbery), she slowly made her way towards her family

 

 

“Umma, Appa, I have something to tell you” Seungwan spoke

“Yes?” her mother turned around

“I’m going out to rob a bank”

 

 

The rest of the family turned their gaze on her. The two other relatives had a slight shock on their faces while her parents’…

 

 

“Alright honey, be careful on your way out” her mom smiles

 

 

What the heck?

 

 

“I…okay” Seungwan sighs

“You can use my car if you want to!” her dad buts in

“No that’s alright. I’ll use my bike”

 

 

Seungwan shook her head before making her way out of the house. What is it with everyone’s reaction honestly?

Meanwhile the people in the house…

 

 

“Are you really going to let her rob a bank?” one of the relatives asks

“She cried when Olaf flurries away in Frozen 2. Trust me, I know what I’m giving out to”

 

 

 

 

This is it, now is the moment. She is going to rob a bank. She had everything prepared, a toy gun – just to scare people away – a duct tape just in case, a­ very  stretchable pantyhose that she just bought from an adult shop to cover her face – and all sort of future purposes – and her bag pack to put the money in. How much can one bag fit really?

Seungwan stood at the opposite road eyeing her surroundings. This is it, she’s going to do it. Seungwan then immediately walks ahead, her feet dragging her to the said destination too fast for her liking. She was walking too fast that she accidently bumped hard on an apple cart that stood just few meters away from the bank. The hard bump caused a lot of apples rolling on the floor as it created a slight chaos near the area. It all happened too fast when some guy tripped on the apple and fell on his face, and then suddenly two policemen came out of nowhere, caught the said guy before handcuffing him

 

 

“Oh my god, my bag!!”

 

 

Another random woman pops out of nowhere and snatched of what seems like to be an expensive bag from the said guy’s grip

 

 

“This man is a thief who snatched my bag while I was walking! I’m so glad there were policemen nearby to help me chase this man down!” the lady spoke

 

 

Seungwan was still clueless. What was she about to do again? Oh yes, rob a bank. Let’s just get out from this scene and –

 

 

“You should thank this young woman right here too! I don’t know where she is heading to, but she accidently bumped onto my cart and the apples fell. If it weren’t for the apples that he tripped on, this man could have gone far ahead and we will never be able to catch him!”

 

 

Wait what now

 

 

Joohyun, who appeared to be walking from her office for lunch break, noticed the commotion right near where the bank was located. Remembering the part where her girlfriend specifically told her she was going to rob a bank today, she thought it has something to do with Seungwan so she went up ahead

 

 

 

“Oh my god! Thank you so much dear! I owe you!”

 

 

The lady went up and hugged Seungwan tightly before continuously pecking her cheek as a form of thank you­. Joohyun who came at the wrong time, had a scowl on her face and made her way towards her girlfriend before yanking her away from the said woman. The AUDACITY

Seungwan was shocked to even see Joohyun right next to her

 

 

“Excuse me, what is happening here? Why are you hugging my girlfriend?” Joohyun glared at the woman

“Oh dear! I’m just thanking your girlfriend for helping me catch this thief right here” the woman pointed at the man who were held by the police

“Mmhm sure. Are we done here?” Joohyun was still pissed

“Oh, hold on”

 

 

The woman then pulled out a card from her bag before handing it to Seungwan

 

 

“As a token of my gratitude, I would like to gift you a car. For helping me with…all this”

 

 

The woman smiled. As Joohyun and Seungwan stared at the card, only there they noticed that the woman was the owner of a really well known car company. Seungwan’s eyes almost popped out of her sockets when she mentioned I would like to gift you a car

 

 

“W-what?! There’s no need to! It was an accident!” Seungwan said

“No, no I insist! It’s the least I could do. Please, do accept this or I’ll be sad”

“But I didn’t even do much, the police should be the one you should be thanking to…”

“Yes but if you didn’t bump to the apple cart none of this would’ve happened. Please dear, it’s the least I can do”

“I- I don’t even have a license”

“That’s alright I’ll pay for that too!”

 

 

Now what the hell is happening right here?

 

 

After a lot of convincing and persisting, Seungwan finally agreed on accepting the huge gift. Just because the woman kept bugging her also because her girlfriend’s jealousy almost caused another commotion. So to prevent that, she had accepted the car so the said woman would walk away (which she finally did) and told her to come by with her parents the next following week to get the car. Joohyun then dragged Seungwan to a nearest restaurant to grab lunch together, finishing off quickly as Joohyun had to get back to her office

 

 

“So, you were planning to rob a bank, ended up helping a woman in need, receiving few kisses and a damn car?” Joohyun spoke

“In my defense, I didn’t even know she was going to kiss me”

“At least you got a car”

“Yeah, I don’t know what the hell just happened. I just wanted to rob a ing bank” Seungwan grumbles

“It’s alright baby, try next time”

 

 

Seungwan walked Joohyun back to her office, and as they arrived in front of her girlfriend’s workplace, Joohyun turned Seungwan around before grabbing her face and giving her a long deep kiss on that sweet plump lips.

Mine Joohyun thought

 

 

“Nobody is allowed to kiss you other than me, you hear me?”

 

 

Joohyun said breathlessly as she pulled away. Seungwan was still in daze

 

 

“Yes baby”

 

 

 

 

Another day of being unpleasant. Today Seungwan decided to go to a mall and steal a bag because why not? Maybe her first attempt didn’t work, that’s okay. Because as Joohyun said, try next time

And today, is her next time.

 

 

Seungwan had decided to go to mall, and steal the most expensive hand bag she sees. She went to survey and made her walk a day before to know her way in and out so the stealing could be done beautifully. So now here she is, at the mall, preparing to steal a bag. But before she could take another step, she got a call from Joohyun

 

 

“Hello?”

“Baby? Where are you?”

“I’m at the mall. Need anything?”

“What are you doing there?”

“Trying to steal a bag” Seungwan answers casually

“…alright. Just get me some food or something if you’re making your way back to my apartment?”

“Sure baby. I’m off to being a bad girl now, love you”

“I love you too, have fun!”

 

 

After hanging up, Seungwan made her way in one of those expensive looking boutique. Seungwan already had her eyes on one bag, it was brand new and the latest release. Hell, it’s not even her style but it’s expensive and Seungwan is bad, bad. And bad people steal stuff.

But then it got to her, she forgot her bag in her brand new car. The bag where she intended to put the expensive bag in. Because you can’t expect her to carry the pricey hand bag around without another bag to hide in it.

 

 

“Damn it, rookie mistake”

 

 

So Seungwan decided to go back out to take the damn bag in her car before proceeding doing to bag thing. As she made her way out the entrance of the mall, suddenly a loud pop sound was heard and there’s suddenly confetti falling above her. Out of nowhere, a store clerk approached her, congratulating her

 

 

“Congratulations ma’am!! You are our 100th lucky customer!”

 

 

A 100th lucky what now?

 

 

“Um, pardon?”

“You are our lucky customer! We just opened the boutique right here two weeks ago and decided to give something for our 100th customer and, it’s you!” the clerk pointed at the boutique Seungwan previously entered

 

 

Seungwan was still confused

 

 

“We saw you in our boutique a while ago and I noticed you were interested in our latest collection. Well lucky you, that bag is the one we’ll be giving out to you as a gift!”
