Chaewon rubs her arms as the weather is getting colder. She arrives at her house and goes to her room after telling her parents where she was yesterday. As soon as she enters the room, she turns on the heater and throws herself into her comfy bed. She takes out her phone and stares at its black screen. Should I do this? She unlocks her phone and goes to the iMessage and clicks on her chat with Minju.

Hey, Minguri~

Hey!

Let's hang out later?

Sure, when and where?

6 pm at the cafe we always go

Okay :))

See you later, Min :)

Bye :)

She grips her phone closer to her chest and closes her eyes. Am I doing the right thing? She sighs in hesitation and gets up from her bed to changes her clothes. 

After a few hours after the hot argument, Wonyoung decided to take some fresh air to sorts out her miserable mind. She walks past Yujin's house and stops for a while to take a look. Suddenly, a message enters Wonyoung's phone.

From: Yudaeng

What are you doing out there?! It's a freaking -14°C now!

Wonyoung is surprised that Yujin still cares about her even after she threw harsh words to the said girl.

It's okay. It's not that cold. I'm sorry :")

If you are sorry, go inside your home now!

Nah, maybe later.

She keeps her phone inside her coat's pocket and continues her walk. She walks and walks through the neighborhood. There aren't many people outside because just like Yujin said, It's -14°C now. She stops on the playground and sits on one of the swings.

She still can remember vividly how she and Yujin met 13 years ago.

Her parents left her alone as they need to go on a business trip and they don't have enough time to take care of her there. She was not particularly alone since they have a maid but she still feels lonely. The 4-years-old Wonyoung then walked to the playground and couldn't help but to cry on one of the swings there. The exact one she is sitting now. She was crying on the swing, letting it all out. That was when a loud, energetic, and bright girl with a dimple greets her. Yujin asked her why she was crying and even made her stop crying. Yujin then brought her to meet Mrs. Ahn. Since then, they always invited Yujin to the girl's house, knowing that her parents always leaving her behind. Since then, they treat her like a family more than her parents do.

Her daydream is interrupted by the sound of her phone. She reads the message from Chaewon who is asking her to come to the cafe near their house now. She wonders why but decides to just ask Chaewon when they meet later.

Chaewon is sitting on one of the seats available in the cafe while fidgeting her finger. She has about 10 minutes left before 6 o'clock and she is getting more nervous minute by minute. 

'CLING!' The door hits the bell the owner hang, indicating someone just comes in. Chaewon turns her head and meets Wonyoung's eyes. She sighs in relief as she knows she might freaks out if Minju arrives first. Wonyoung sits on the seat beside Chaewon and gives the older a teasing look.

"Look at who is nervous now?" Wonyoung smirks and lifts her left eyebrow. "Stop teasing me, little kid." Chaewon flicks Wonyoung's forehead and snickers at Wonyoung's pained expression. "So how are you going to confess, unnie?" Wonyoung rests her face on her palm. "I think, I will just tell her how much I love her without telling it was her." Wonyoung shakes her head playfully and leans back to the chair. "Even when confessing, you won't let Minju unnie passes without your tease." Both of them are laughing before Wonyoung suddenly stops and stares behind Chaewon. Chaewon looks at Wonyoung's surprised face and turns around, just to meet her eyes with Minju's.

"Are you both badmouthing me?" Chaewon quickly denies "NO! Why should we?" Minju takes a seat in front of Chaewon while replying "Well, that's what you always do, Ssamu." Chaewon scratches her nape to hide her nervousness and lets out a small laugh. 

Wonyoung jolts up from her seat. "I'll get going now. See you later!" She then leans toward Chaewon's ear. "If you didn't confess, I'll make sure Yujin confess then." Chaewon hits her arm. "Stop teasing me, you little brat!" Wonyoung laughs and waves to the 2Kim while walking to the exit.

As soon as Wonyoung is out of sight, Chaewon shifts her gaze back to her best friend in front of her. "Should we order drinks first?" Minju asked. Chaewon immediately stands up and offers herself to treats Minju since she is the one who asks her to come. Chaewon walks to the counter and orders iced americano and iced latte. As soon as the drinks ready, she brings it back to their table. She can feel her heartbeats are getting louder with each step towards Minju. She holds out the Iced Americano to Minju who gladly accepts it. She sits silently and sips her latte. 

"So, what do you want to tell me?"

Chaewon chokes and coughs as she was too surprised. Minju pats her back and gives her a napkin. "Why are you so surprised?" "Ah, it's nothing." Chaewon clears and starts her confession.

"Here goes nothing..."

"You know, actually... I have someone who I like for a long time." Chaewon notices that Minju's eyes suddenly feel with sadness. She is confused but shrugs it off as she doesn't want to be distracted from her confession.

"I don't know when exactly I fall for her but one thing, for sure, I'm madly in love with her." 

Minju swears she can see how Chaewon's eyes gleaming. She can't help but feels hurt as she thoughts that Chaewon feels the same with her but she guesses someone else has taken the spot and she should be ready that Chaewon might leave her soon to go to the one she loves.

"Everything about her is wonderful. Not only her face is pretty but" Chaewon smiles as she stares at the one who has taken her heart a long time ago.

"Her hair," Chaewon looks at how Minju's hair moves graciously whenever Minju moves.

"Her eyes," She stares straight into Minju's beautiful hazelnut brown orbs.

"Her hands," Chaewon then shifts her gaze to Minju's slender fingers. She loves how Minju's hand and hers fit perfectly with each other.

"And my favorite thing about her is her weird but cute attitude." Chaewon chuckles, remembering how funny but cute Minju looks like whenever she tries to imitate various kinds of animals.

"To make it short," Chaewon stares straight to Minju's hazelnut brown eyes. "Everything about her is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life."

Minju puts her head down as she trying her best to not let her tears fall. Her heart feels like it being stabbed by numerous knives. She lifts her head back and forces a smile. "You seem like you really like that girl." Chaewon nods furiously. "I really, really like her. No! Scratch that. I love her with my whole heart!" Chaewon smiles are as wide as she can. Minju swears she can feel like her broken heart being stepped repeatedly. She closes her eyes and turns her head away from Chaewon

"Minguri..." 

Minju lifts her gaze and meets with her favorite eyes. "W-what?" And her tears fall. Chaewon panics and quickly stands up to go by Minju's side. She couldn't let this chance slips away from her hands so she cups Minju's face and lifts it to meet her gaze. "Hey..." Minju's tears fall nonstop even after Chaewon wipes it off.

"The one that I like is you, dummy."

Minju takes probably ten seconds to process what Chaewon just said to her. She pulls herself away from Chaewon and covers in shock. "WHAT?!" Chaewon chuckles before she leans closer and whispers to her ear.

"I said I like-, no, I love you, MinMin." 

Minju's eyes widen as she realized that Chaewon was talking about her all the time. Her tears just fall more as she throws herself onto Chaewon's embrace. 

"I love you too, Ssamu." She tightens the hug while Chaewon hugs her back in happiness. If it wasn't for them being in the cafe, she would probably lift Minju and swings her around already. 

Chaewon breaks the hug but still holding on Minju's waist.

"I love you."

Minju giggles and pull Chaewon's neck to crashes her lips with Chaewon's. 

Little did they know, someone witnessed it before her legs bring herself away from the scene, away from reality.

A sudden series of loud knocks can be heard from the main door. Wonyoung jolts up from the couch because the person behind the door is knocking it like they want to destroy the door. She cusses internally while walking to the door. Who the hell is trying to wreck my door at this hour?!

When wonyoung swings the door open, she's horrified and astonished to be greeted with a tear-stained Yujin. The blue-haired girl's eyes are bloodshot red, rosy cheeks damp with tears and her whole body is trembling uncontrollably.

Wonyoung's brows corrugated in a deep frown seeing Yujin's current worrying state. Instantly, she's overwhelmed with concern, anger slowly seeping into her veins when she starts to overthink the cause of Yujin's tears.

Wonyoung pulls her in and shut the door, grabbing her shoulders and looking at her square in the eyes in worry.
 

"Yujin?! Hey, why are you crying? Did someone hurt you? Talk to me, Yudaeng! I swear if anyone dared-"
 

Yujin's knees fell weak as she keeps on trembling. Before she can even reach the floor, Wonyoung grabs both her arms.
 

"What happened, Yujin?!"

But Yujin doesn't seem to hear what she bellowed out, mindlessly slogging towards Wonyoung who began staggering back upon her perilous approach. It ached, Wonyoung's heart is bruised to see Yujin's feral state. The moment where she almost falls on the floor earlier, Wonyoung felt the bitterness and sombreness. That's when she knows immediately,

Yujin saw them. Yujin saw Minju and Chaewon.

Yujin's bottled up emotion which is now erupting uncontrollably.

She bottled it up for too long.

Insecurity,

Anxiety,

Fear,

Denial.

Yujin's gaze isn't as bright and cheerful like how it always be. Her gaze's hollow and darkening. When Wonyoung's heels hit the foot of the sofa, she's alarmed that she is now all cornered. Yujin takes the opportunity to grip onto her arms too tightly, before pushing her down onto the cushion.

Damn, why is she stronger than ever?!

Wonyoung is trapped within Yujin's death grip with the tall girl hovering over her, unable to free her pinned arms. When Yujin dangerously lowers herself, Wonyoung began to panic.
 

Wait, is she going to kiss me right now?

She belts out Yujin's name in hopes of snapping Yujin out of her rampant state of mind but to no avail. Suddenly, Yujin surges for her lips hungrily, desperately in search of intimate consolation and aid.

Never has she ever thought their first kiss could be this toxic, so hurtful and so destructive. It's hurting both of them. Her tears fall as she feels the pain Yujin trying to spreads to her. 

Feeling Yujin's tongue delving deep inside uninvited, Wonyoung hissed and forced her hands free. She immediately grabs Yujin's broad shoulders and pushes her off with force, breaking away from the noxious kiss.
 

"SNAP OUT OF IT, AHN YUJIN!!"

In the spur of the moment, Wonyoung's palm connected to Yujin's cheek, a searing red mark soon embedded on her moist skin. And Yujin finally out of her unruly state, her eyes gaining back their warm colors bit by bit.

"W-wonyoung.." Yujin's eyes are full of guilt and confusion.

A/N: To be honest, writing the last scene kinda hurts me too T^T Let's hope for the best to Yujin and Wonyoung's relationship after the toxic first kiss. Feel free to leave some comments.
