C H A P T E R ~ F I V E

The Abyss 

The girls got dolled up while the guys got suited. Today was the day of the exchange and the day they come face to face with their new rivals. “Is everyone ready?” Seulgi asked

Seungwan smiled. “Ready as we’ll ever be.” 

Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency 

Hoseok and his team got into their undercover getups. “Are you sure they would do it at such a crowded club?” Jimin questioned

“Since it’s a peaceful transaction with no problems, less attention equals more people.” Hoseok explained

“Alright enough talk. When we get there keep your eyes everywhere, if there's anything you find suspicious you’ll be able to tell the rest of the team through these earpieces.” Hayi gave out small bluetooth ear pieces.

As Namjoon put his earpiece in he had a thought. “Do we have the back up at the club?” He asked

Jisoo clicked her earpiece. “Yep they’ll be outside of the club, if at anypoint, anyone needs backup for any reason all you need to do is tap twice on the earpiece.” she explained as the rest of the team nodded

With that the team had headed out the door. “We can do this team.” Yeri encouraged 

Dance Cave @ 8pm

Two different groups with different mindsets walking into one place. The Roulette had set the dealing to be done in a corner and the dealing was going to be handled by Jennie and Hanbin. 

Seungwan walked to the dance floor, she kept her eyes on the dealing going on behind her. As she walked, she felt two hands grab her arms. As a reflex she kicked the person in the shin and locked their arms behind them. “Chill lady, you were about to bump into me that’s why I grabbed you.” the person said

Laughter was heard through her ear piece. “Great going Wen.” Hanbin made fun of her.

Seungwan rolled her eyes and scoffed. “Shut up” she scolded

“Excuse me?” The person said. Seungwan realising the person was still on the ground, she helped him up.

The person turned around to reveal a handsome man. He was wearing a loose white shirt under a black leather jacket. His hair was flowing down and he was wearing blue jeans and chains. “Sorry. Gotta protect thyself. You know.” Seungwan flirted 

‘Stay with him Wen. He was going towards the area where RJ and B.I are. Distract him.” Seulgi’s voice perks up in her ear.

Seungwan puts out her hand. “Can I have this dance?” she asks

The guy looked hesitant.

‘Stay with her bro. Too many of us are on the lookout. We can’t be suspicious.” Jimin’s voice comes through

He smiles and accepts her hand. “Sure. So what’s your name?” the mysterious man asked

“Seungwan” the group looked around to each other

“Girl did you forget we’re in the middle of a deal? Why are you using your real name?” Joy asked

“Give me one second I forgot my purse back there.” she said while going to the back.

“Sure.”

“Our police besties are probably here somewhere. Anyone of these people can be one of them. The Police know our code names but not our real ones. So to be safe use your real names for tonight.” She explained while the gang let out a collective ‘ohhhh’

Seungwan headed back to the dance floor where the guy was. “You never told me what your name was.” She said

The guy smiled. “Hoseok.” he said as he pulled her arm twirling her towards him.

The two danced to the music and for the first time she felt happy. Not having to take care of the deals or the shooting made her feel free.

“Guys? We got them. It’s time for the big show.”

The big show was something The Roulette has always done after closing a deal. It was a big distraction the gang could escape. Usually it would be dances but this time the Big show would be a shootout.

“Ready?”

“Ready! Go!”

The gunshots were being shot out of nowhere to the rest of the people in the club. As Seungwan tried to escape J-Hope kept her close to his chest trying to protect her. What the was happening to her?

Hayi pulled out her gun as she heard the shot. She ran towards the back of the bar when she felt a hand grab her arm. A guy with white hair and orange shade smirked at her. “I wouldn't go there if I were you,” He warned. 

She realized a suitcase in his hand and turned around to call for backup. As soon as she turned back around, he was gone. “” She cursed as she tried to get everyone to safety 

Joy and Seulgi went to go find Jennie when they bumped into two guys with guns. The girls act terrified. “Oh my god!” Joy yelled as she latched on to one of them,

Sungjae looked at the girl weird before detaching from her so he could fire at the men who were firing.  “Excuse me? Do you girls need any help?” Jimin asked on behalf of the two of them.

The girls looked at each other as they tried to come up with an excuse. “You know what we’ve got no time the back exit is there.” Sungjae led them as the girls tried to look for Jennie.

Jennie on the other hand tried searching for everyone on their team on the dance floor when a deep voice behind her made her tense up. “Hey. What are you doing here? You should probably get out of here.” She looked behind her to see a guy holding a gun.

“Yeah I was just about to. My friends were here. I didn’t want to leave them alone.” She said tensely

“Wow friend of the year. You should probably still go. I’ll make sure they’ll come out safe.” He started guiding her

Right then her friends came to her rescue. “Jennie!! We were looking for you. Come on let’s get out of here.” Seulgi took her by her hand and left.

While leaving Jennie looked behind her and smiled at the guy. Namjoon saw that smile, smirked and went on to finish his work.

Jisoo and Irene tried rushing to the other side of the club but couldn't, courtesy of Jisoo’s heels that she stupidly chose to wear today. Before she knew it she slipped holding her gun for dear life and shutting her eyes, she was ready for the hit.

But that didn't come. Instead of feeling the hard floor against her back, she felt a hand around her waist. She peeked open an eye to see a smiling face. “Hi-yah partner” it was a strange guy with glasses. 

V smiled at Irene. She looked at him with a disgusted face. “No thank you. Go along now.” She said

But he didn’t care. “Ok well damn maybe you shouldn’t jump to conclusions. I was smiling for courtesy. Queen of assumption.” He said with sass

Jisoo stood up straightening her dress and thanked him. “Thank you” she said

Jin laughed. “You should really be running to the exit not this side” He tell her

“I have to help my friends. Come Irene” She quickly lies and runs away

Jin looks down smiling while heading towards their meeting spot. “Let’s go V. Strange girl.” he said

Jungkook waited outside for the rest of his gang. He walked backwards trying to get a better view of the whole street of where the club was located. 10 minutes they said. As he kept walking he felt someone bump into him. 

He turned around pissed off. “What the hell.” he said annoyed

When he opened his eyes he saw a young girl not older than 21. “Sorry i was trying to find my family?” She said confused

He looked at her weird. “Why would your family be out here at a club?” He questioned

As if on demand 6 people appeared behind her. “Yeri!”  one of them yelled 

Her face lit up. “There they are. My siblings.” The group looked confused at each other.

Jungkook just shook his head. “Maybe next time don’t let your little sister roam around in this type of area” Saying that he walked off 

The group was once again confused as hell. “Guy where is our team leader?” Jisoo asked.

They looked amongst themselves. Hayi reached for her bluetooth. “Hoseok? Mr. J-Hope? We’re all out here safe where are you?” she talked and looked up when she got no response.

Hoseok was in his own world with Seungwan. Staring deep into her eyes. Just something about her that mesmerizes him enough to forget the rest of the world. “I have to go.” Her eyes filled with worry.

Right then a voice came through his bluetooth “Hoseok? Mr. J-Hope? We’re all out here safe where are you?” . He let go of her and watched her run out.

He went outside and saw his team. “Sorry I was trying to save someone. So what was that all about. Gunshots out of nowhere?” He questioned

Irene cursed. “ guys the deal. What if this was all their plan?” she said 

Yeri looked around to see if there was anything suspicious. She spotted a group in black cloaks leaving the area. “Guys! Over there!” She yells attracting the rest

They ran after them but couldn’t catch up. And as soon as a vehicle crossed. The group was nowhere to be seen. As soon as the police squad reached, there was another postcard.
