A few weeks later, the BTOB members were backstage at Inkigayo preparing for their live stage of “Beautiful Pain”. Even though their leader was absent, their dressing room didn’t get any quieter. The boys were trying to sing over each other when the door suddenly swung open. In fear of disturbing others, they all became silent at once. At the door was Joy with a cake in her hands. Sungjae’s expression lit up at the sight of Joy, he immediately rushed over and took the cake and her bag from her hands.

Sungjae: Aish yah! How many times did I tell you not to carry heavy stuff until your shoulder is completely healed??

Joy: it’s not heavy! It’s just a cake!

Changsub: Oh! Joy-ah!!! 

Ilhoon: You’re back from the world tour?

Joy: Yup, I was back last week~ The tour is only midway done though, we’re going to America and Canada on January and February

Hyunsik: Wow world tour indeed, that’s so impressive!

Peniel: When will we get to perform in America... 

Changsub: So we have to listen to Sungjae whine about how much he misses you again for another two months??

Sungjae: Yah!! When did I ever whine to you??

Minhyuk: Is your shoulder better now?

Joy: Yes it’s pretty much recovered now, I can handle daily tasks with no problem, just have to wait another week or so before I can dance again

The BTOB members circled around the cake and started eating. Joy sat down next to Sungjae. Sungjae sliced a small piece of cake and fed it to Joy.

Joy: *Blushing* Aii oppa I can eat on my own, my shoulder doesn’t hurt anymore

Sungjae: Just listen to me!! Come on, ahhh Feeds Joy a mouthful of cake

Ilhoon: Aigoo my eyes, I blind I’m blind

Sungjae: Cut it out hyung!!

Joy cheered for them backstage as they went up to perform. She became teary eyed upon hearing Sungjae’s sorrowful voice. Thoughts filled her head about how she felt like she cheated on him and betrayed him, she hated lying to Sungjae and hiding things from him. He was her rock, he was the one person she could depend on. 

After wrapping up filming for Inkigayo, Sungjae and went out for lunch, then Joy went back to Sungjae’s place for the first time in a while. Together, they snuggled on the sofa and just rested in each other’s presence. They monitored this week’s episode of Master In The House as it broadcasted live. They watched as Sungjae was on the phone with the phone call hint fairy.

SeungGi: Let’s just say that’s what it was ㅋㅋㅋ
