Sungjae sat on his sofa with Sami in his arms, her fur, while waiting for a text from Joy. It has already been a few days since their fight, but there was still no news from Joy. Sungjae waited patiently and held back from texting her no matter how much he wanted to, he decided to give her some space. 
At this moment, his phone suddenly started ringing. He instantly leaped towards his phone and answered it, shocking Sami and causing her to leap out of his lap. 

Sungjae: Hello?? Is that you Sooyoungie? 

Eunkwang: What? Don’t you have caller ID?? It’s your beloved hyung!!

Sungjae: Oh...

Sungjae’s face fell upon hearing Eunkwang’s voice at the other end of the phone.

Eunkwang: Do you have to sound that disappointed?? I guess you didn’t miss me at all!! So much for using my precious calling time on you...

Sungjae: No no of course not hyung, I’m really glad to hear from you, it’s just, I was waiting for Sooyoung to text me... 

Eunkwang: This sounds serious, what happened? Did you guys get in a fight?

Sungjae: Kinda...

Eunkwang: What was the fight about? 

Sungjae: I don’t really know... She was fine just the other day, and the next day she starting acting all weird

Eunkwang: How so?

Sungjae: She dodged my calls all day and I only found out she was sick at home through Yeri, and when I got there it was like she didn’t want to see me... When I tried to hug her she freaked out and ran away from me, locking herself in the bathroom... I was so worried but she wouldn’t let me in, she kept telling me it’s nothing and to leave her alone, but how could I?? Something is clearly wrong, and I want to help her but she won’t let me... How am I supposed to help her if she won’t even tell me what’s wrong?? 

Eunkwang: Wow this sounds like a serious matter... It sounds like she’s dealing with something that she doesn’t want you to know about...

Sungjae: Yes she was so secretive, but what could there possibly be that she couldn’t tell me?? We tell each other everything...

Eunkwang: Well, clearly something serious is troubling her, but for now I would say give her some space, if she wants to try and deal with whatever it is on her own, then let her try, if she can’t deal with it, she’ll reach out to you, if she says it’s nothing then just go with it, if you try to pry into it she’ll just push you away

Sungjae: But I’m just so worried... What could have happened that would cause her to react this way...?

Eunkwang: Of course you’re worried, you care so much about her, but you’ll have to hold it in for now, because if you truly care for her, then you also need to respect her privacy

Sungjae: I guess you’re right... But she hasn’t contacted me in days now... I’m so worried about how she’s doing...? Should I call her? Or will that be too pushy...

Eunkwang: Just send her a text, a short one to check in, and wait for her to reply, don’t spam her with a bunch of texts
