Final Retry || YulyenA week has passed.
Yet Yuri has no plan in changing her mind although the girls, mainly Yena and Chaewon, keep trying to convince to cancel her decision. But Yuri doesn’t want to escape, her heart firmly not desiring to run away from what lies ahead of her. From her future and from her fate. She’s fixated to face them all.
So, here they are, in a train station, in Britain.
They had taken a flight there, taking a train afterward that would bring them into the pack’s headquarter in Wales.
“Unnie, why are we taking a train? Don’t Wales have an airport too?” Hitomi asked, sending a curious look at Chaewon on the side as they walk away from the ticket office.
“They do. But, Hitoma,” she grinned, placing a palm over Hitomi’s shoulder, “Taking a train is definitely better. You’ll get what I mean later.”
Hitomi blinks, confused still. She thought it will be a lot faster if they just take a flight rather than train.
Chaewon along with Hitomi walked past the crowd, reunited with the other two who were waiting for them at the railway station. “I got the tickets, let’s go,” Chaewon handing a ticket to both Yena and Yuri.
“Thanks, Chaewon.” receiving the ticket, Yena kept it in her pocket then putting an arm over Yuri’s waist, pulling the girl close. A simple gesture that made Chaewon rolled her eyes right away.
“Ugh, can you not do that in public?” Chaewon muttered, face cringed at what Yena just did.
Yena pulled a playful one-sided smile and retorted, “Why? You can hold hands with Hitomi too, you know?” Her brows arched frivolously, challenging.
Chaewon choked by the sound, even the thought of asking Hitomi to hold her hand in public makes her feel embarrassed like she’s some kind of 5th grader. Meanwhile Yuri was just smiling, suppressing self to break a giggle. She wanted to elbow Yena if she wasn’t being amused by the sight, too. Plus, other reason was that she loves the smallest thing that Yena did to her. It’s simply adorable.
All of a sudden, Hitomi extended her hand toward Chaewon. “It’s okay, Unnie, you can hold it. Or… do you not want to?” her lips puckered into a small pout while giving eyes at the shy girl.
The sudden gesture and question jabbed Chaewon’s inner side. She quickly shook her head although she internally wanted to facepalm the most, for Hitomi had fallen right into Yena’s bait.
“No, wait, I mean of course I want to,” she hastily took Hitomi’s hand in hers, a faint blush started to arise on cheeks. “C’mon, let’s get on the train or we’ll have to wait for the next one,” she smoothly changed the topic and start to lead them onto the platform quietly.
The others obediently followed her. They get on the train as Chaewon advised, or dragged, them to. As the train move, Chaewon had been telling them the beautiful views from her experience way back then; when she was still a member of the pack even if that was just for a while. Proving Chaewon still holds dear to the terrain they’re about to meet. On the train, she acted almost like she’s some sort of a tourist guide. Though, it was actually just her, wanting her friends to enjoy themselves as much as they can. Before their focus drifted back into what they could be facing later.
A journey is meant to be savored, Chaewon plainly thought.
Mountains and meadows passing by as they sit next to each other, obviously Yuri with Yena, Chaewon with Hitomi. The meadows looked urban with wild flowers blooming wide, tall grasses sticking upwards and bend while shyly rustled and choreographed by the gentle wind; their eyes into believing that the lush grasses were dancing in the sunshine. In the far, great mountains loomed before the meadow, covered with a rug of trees that seemingly soared daringly into sky. These made their journey a pleasant one to look at, relaxing mind at all the raw nature’s beauty.
But that’s not all. They were greeted by something more as their adventure goes further
