Few days had passed since Yena and Yuri got married, but the latter has not yet to carry the Luna’s responsibility after Yena–being the Alpha she is–made an agreement with Lloyd to extend the day. At first, Lloyd honestly disliked the idea, yet he understood and let the couple enjoy their last moments together. This gave Yuri the opportunities to accompany her family and friends during their short stay in the island.

Yuri couldn’t be more grateful for it. To be able to spend her freedom surrounded by her loved ones, it was simply bliss for her, but,

The day draws near and is just around the corner.

“Yena?”

“Yes?”

“Can I ask you a favor?”

“What is it?”

“Hold me tighter in your sleep tonight.”

Hearing that, Yena lets out a chuckle. “You’re acting spoiled suddenly, what about we don’t sleep at all?” she said as her hold on Yuri’s body tightened, complying her wife’s request.

Yuri shook her head fast, snuggling onto Yena’s neck. “No, let’s sleep. Good night, Yena.”

“I’m just joking. Good night, sweetheart,” she then kissed Yuri’s head warmly before she closes her eyes.

After making sure that Yena has drifted to sleep, Yuri pulled away. She slowly pressed her lips on Yena’s lips, giving a soft kiss that night. All of sudden, a feeling of turmoil began to sweeps over her. A single tear was seen escaping slightly from Yuri’s eye, so she buried her face back in Yena’s embrace; snogging what she still have on that night.

She refused to fall asleep although her head is heavy. Her heart is broken although Yena encircled Yuri’s entire body with her warmth. She quietly prayed for the night to stays longer, for the night to not end, and for the night to go on forever.

But deep inside Yuri knows that it’s just her selfish and wishful thinking.

It really is a good night, Yena…

Morning came faster, both Yena and Yuri had gathered in front of a room they never went in before. They are on the fourth floor of the castle, along with Lloyd.

Yena and Yuri had been holding hands since they go out from their room. Anxiety began to fills them up as soon as they take a step inside the unfamiliar room.
