Still in the living room, Yena held the girl in her arms tightly as she pushes her down on the soft sofa. She gave a smooch, quick yet deep before she get off of her and gets up, leaving Yuri who was still lying down in all her quietness.

The puzzled Yuri let her left eye following Yena’s figure who was walking away from her. From the corner of her eye, she saw the blonde roaming around the room, like she was searching for something. So Yuri decided to sit up, watching the latter while she faintly brushes her messy hair down. “What are you looking for?”

Stopping her track, Yena turn her head to the voice. “My phone, where did I put it again?”

“Isn’t it in your pocket..?”

The blonde hastily touching her pockets and it was really in one of them. She took out the phone and blame at it as if it was a living person, “Yah, you were there all this time?”

“Maybe if you’re not too busy seducing me earlier,” seeing Yena’s behavior made Yuri to crosses her arms in disbelief.

“Not that I can’t help but that’s what I’m saying exactly,” she lets out a nervous laugh then swiping her phone screen. Going through her contact which is not really that much to look at as she doesn’t have many people saved in it anyway, she then dials Chaewon once she sees her name on the screen.

She waited as the beeping ringback tone repeatedly buzzing in her ear. She moved around the room, her hushed steps lost into tapping the innocent ground tile impatiently. Then her foot halted, there’s another voice coming from the line.

“Hello? Yena?”

“Yes, it’s me. Hello and long time no talk, Chaewon…” she answered, trying not to sound rude so she starts with easy talk.

“It’s been a while and it’s unlike you to suddenly call me like this. Is there anything you want to talk or ask?”

Amazed by Chaewon’s mind, Yena sighed as her attempt to start an easy talk failed. She was also relieved at the same time, though. She wanted to jump into the real talk, the sooner the better. “As sharp as ever, you could easily read me even from a far, huh? But true, I wanna ask you something…”

“Sure, I’m listening.”

“So, uh, it’s about Yuri. I…” she took a pause, in the urge to swallow before resuming her sentence. “I turned her into our kind.”

“Wait, you what?! Aren’t you always against to the idea??? What’s going on here???” Chaewon raised her tone, clearly demanding for a proper explanation from Yena.

Expecting Chaewon’s response to be like that, Yena inhaled an air to remain calm. “There was an urgent matter as to why I did that and we can save it for later but now listen to me, Chaewon. After she became lycanthrope, she has been dreaming… a precognitive dream to be exact. Do you know something about this?”

”Precognitive? As in like, foresight?” Chaewon questioned back.

“Precognition, foresight, future vision, or anything you nail it right. But everytime she has this kind of dream, she would wake up suffering with great headaches and burning eyes,” she explained further. “Does it ring a bell to you?”
