"Hey Lisa?" Lisa looks down to face me and I swear, I nearly melted at the sight of her full lips lifting upwards into a beautiful smile, displaying her pearly, white teeth. We were at the park we had met when we were kids. Lisa's back was leaning against the tree that had our initials on it with my head laying on her lap. She tilts her head to the side and furrows her thin eyebrows that was slightly hidden by her bangs that shaped her face perfectly,

"Yeah?" She asks as she places her book down to the side  and brings her hand towards my face to place a strand of my hair behind my ear, causing goosebumps to prickle on my skin as her finger tips unintentionally grazed my skin. I smile softly towards her,

"I love you." She playfully rolls her eyes and lets out a tiny giggle that had caused my heart to claw through my chest at the beautiful sound. She looks back down at me and pinches my cheek softly,

"You have no choice. You're my best friend. You have to love me." She says. I mask the pain of the word 'Best friend,' with a chuckle. I push her hand away from my cheek and sit up,

"Of course it is."

I place myself next to her and relaxed my head on her shoulder and sigh in content as the cool breeze flowed through, causing a light sensation to grow in my chest. But the pinch in my heart remained.

"So how are you and Hanbin?" I ask, trying to conceal the bitterness in my face which seemed to have worked as Lisa simply shrugged with a small smile displayed on her perfect lips.

"We're good. He's been getting sweeter with each passing day." I nod silently, not really interested in the topic. I had only asked out of courtesy. I lift my head and leaned against the tree as just a simple touch for her caused the pain to grow.

"How about you? Are you interested in anybody?" She asks as she turns her attention back into the book she was reading. I shake my head and looked down onto my clasped hands.

"No." I simply say.

"Why?" She asks. I sigh with a small smile as she turns her head towards me as I continued to keep my gaze down.

"You already know why." I whisper. I slowly lift my gaze towards her and felt my heart clench at the sight of her eyes that held sympathy. I had confessed my feelings towards her months ago but she didn't feel the same way. Our friendship remained in tack but for me, it has forever changed. I guess love will happen when it wants, it hurts but I don't think I can ever let it go. Lisa gives me a sad smile and goes to say something but I shake my head with a broken laugh.

"It's okay. I know you'll never feel the same way." She sighs and goes to reach for my hand but freezes and places her hand back on her lap as if she knew it would hurt me even more.

"I'm sorry." She whispers. I shrug,

"It's whatever." She shakes her head,

"No it's not. You deserve to be in love with someone that will love you back maybe even more than you love them." I grit my teeth and clasp my hand tighter until my knuckles turned white,

"Honestly Lisa I wished that was you. I wished that you loved me the same way I love you." Without looking at her I quickly get up and wiped the dirt off my pants before combing my fingers in my hair in frustration.

"Look just forget what I said. I'll see you at school tomorrow." I go to walk away but Lisa's words had quickly caused me to stop in my tracks.

"Why do I feel like I won't see you tomorrow?" She asks. I close my eyes tight as I feel tears trying to escape. I gnaw at my bottom lip as I felt a sob trying to escape as the pain in my chest was drastically increasing with each passing second. I hear Lisa stand up from behind and walk towards my way.
