THEIR SHARP MELODIC CHIRPS chimed the male out of his sleep, ringing symphonies in his ears. However though, he wasn't ready to lift up his two lids up, and relished the balmy bubbles that the hot rays had made by peeking through his thin curtains and skimmed his early face. The brunet lay there, under his white sheets, head still propped up on his stuffed pillow, and his body all huddled close to himself.

Jaemin wasn't ready. If he was to open his eyes, the morning would greet him to his last day, his very last day as a high schooler. He wasn't ready to spend it. In some ways, he couldn't accept it. Today was going to be marked as one of his last moments as a teenager, and to say he was soon going to step into his twenties, Jaemin wasn't ready yet. Time feels like it had flew by too quickly.

The hot beams from the sun seemed to suddenly disappear. He groaned at the warm feeling that tersely faded away. Did a grey cloud interfere it? Oh no, it can't rain. He can't let an April shower flood away his last day as a senior.

Finally, Jaemin lifted his heavy lids, and only to be greeted with a sight he was willing to bite back his scream for. His cheeks flushed brightly, as the air in his bedroom seemed to turn warm, just too mild for his taste.

"Morning baby," Jeno muttered earnestly, showing off his eyes that thinned out with his outrageous smile. His face was so close, he could feel the older's hair brisk his forehead.

It made Jaemin's heart skipped a beat. When did Jeno get here?

"M— morning..." Jaemin tried his best not to stumble too much.

The elder lightly giggled and stood up straight, still staring at Jaemin who was submerged by his covers. Jeno then took his hands from behind him, revealing a small bouquet of elegant freesia and pink chrysanthemum, enfolded in a clear wrapper and tied with stings around it.

"Jeno..." The younger daunted, "You didn't have to..." Engulfing the lovely bouquet in his arms, Jaemin couldn't help and burying his nose in the flowers, admiring the dreamy scent.

"I couldn't handle myself," Jeno said, lightly brushing his school spring school uniform, "I want to spend every last second as a senior to the fullest," He then tangled his finger in Jaemin's messy locks, "And that includes making your day the brightest." He muttered, ruffling the brunet's hair.

All Jaemin could do was grin bashfully, and looked up at his lover, "Nothing could beat this."

Jeno fondly hummed and leaned in to peck the younger's forehead, "Now go take a shower, grandma is waiting for us downstairs."

After his quick shower, Jaemin pulled on his uniform and spiralled down the stairs, walking his grandmother's kitchen. The ancient lady gushed at Jaemin, as he sat down next to Jeno, who was already drowning in his grandmother's amazing breakfast feast. Throughout eating his blueberry pancakes, Jaemin couldn't help but listen to his boyfriend just swooning the much elder lady with his sicken sweet, and every time Jaemin tries not to fail on holding to his food from escaping back to his plate.

The lad with the signature eye smile thanked for the scrumptious breakfast, to which Jaemin's granny seemly cajoled to. Shaking his head, Jaemin could never forget the first time Jeno came to their small house. The much elder lady was pleased by the boy's personality, and flattered by his charming looks. She couldn't help but was shock when he introduced himself as Jaemin's boyfriend, only to have a smug look on her face as she turned to his grandson, and whispered "He's a winner all right."

Before stepping out of the house, Jeno had sprung out another small bouquet at the elder lady, as he plastered his charming grin.

"Take care of Nana for me Jeno dear!"

"I always will."

Jaemin rolled his eyes as his grandmamma giddily winked at the brunet, before prancing off to put the fresh flowers into a vase.

The gleeful sun had never greeted Jaemin so blazingly at this time of the morning, while the dawn birds sang dotingly from the heavy branches of every waving tree the two passed. A light breezed pass dauntingly, followed by a much more stronger wind that spun around and danced with the two lovers. Jaemin was out stunned, a glowing look on his face, and that got even brighter when Jeno intertwined their hands together, bringing their bodies together, not letting any distance separate them. Every finger that were laced together with the ebony hared lad, Jaemin felt them melt at the touch.

Jeno had never failed to make his knees weak.

He had never really thought this day would come. Right in the very front of the room stood their tutor teacher for the past three years, Mr. Jung, his wrinkled face all so lenient and free, yet Jaemin could feel a sprang of proudness as he delivered his very last words for his homeroom class. Scanning around the room, the elder man shone every single student one last gratified grin, before demanding their class president to stand up. Everyone then stood on their feet, and Jaemin plastered his best look on their teacher, before taking a very deep bow. Their very last class bow as a high school student. And right then, the bell in the halls rang.

Renjun had latched his arm around the other's shoulder, as the duo skipped down the hallway. The two had stopped by every class of their teachers, taking one last photos, before walking to the boys changing room, where Jeno had told Jaemin to stand by.

"What are you dressing up as for the photo?"

Jaemin slapped himself in the face. How can he forget?

Renjun sniggered, "Huh, you completely forget didn't you?"

"I can't believe I did!" Jaemin groaned, yanking Renjun arm, "Don't you have anything else in your bag?"

The ginger haired roared a laughter, "You wish. Why don't you ask Jeno? I'm getting changed to my Mad Hatter outfit." He uttered mockingly, before fluttering his finger and linger away.

Slumping his shoulders, Jaemin leaned his body on the wall by the swinging door, heaving a sigh.

"Hey, did I take too long?"

Jeno braced to his side, his tone of voice dropping each second. The lad w
