You shuffle groggily, wiping your sleep ridden eyes, moving towards your ringing door. You check through the peek hole and sigh realizing who it is. You open the door and let her body move past yours, watching as she goes to your living room and flops down on the couch.

It had become a routine by now, her ringing your bell at odd hours of the night... You two would stay up talking and eventually end up in the arms of one another as sleep took over your bodies…

You hated it.

You stare at her unmoving body, thoughts swimming in your head that you don’t realize her turn around and look at you. “Come here.” You sigh once more but your feet move unconsciously, gravitating to her voice.

She moves and creates space for you to lay down, immediately cuddling up to you as you get comfortable. Your arm pulling her closer to you as she tucks her head in between your chest and jaw.

Thoughts continue to run through your head as you feel Jennie’s hot breath on your neck and words unconsciously slip from your mouth before you can stop yourself, “Jennie what do you think this is..?” Your low raspy voice breaking the comfortable silence.

She moves her face to look at yours, confusion covering her features as she questions, “What do you mean?” You sigh and feel her move up, reaching eye level with each other.  “You could’ve been anywhere in the world but you’re here with me…”

Your eyes stray to your fumbling thumbs, feeling Jennie’s gaz
