"What did you just say, Wendy?" Jongin's voice came with a shock and sick expression on his face. He moved closer to the one he loved so much but betrayed and stood in front of her.

"Abortion ?" The word slipped through his suddenly pale lips like a mantra.

Wendy looked at Jongin in shock before looking away in order not to see the pain in his eyes.

"You heard correctly. I want to abort this baby right no-" Wendy started, but was soon cut off by the burning feeling of a slap on her left cheek.

"Have you gone mad? What has suddenly gotten into you? How can you kill our unborn child? It's so innocent and pure. It hasn't even seen the light of the day yet and you're willing to end it so easily? Why Wendy?" Jongin asked with tears streaming down his sudden pale cheeks.

Wendy quickly turned away, she didn't want to meet Jongin's eyes. She was sad but she just couldn't let it show. 

"It's my choice Jongin, it's my life and I believe I can do whatever I want with it, even aborting this baby."

"Wendy" Jongin called in a low tone while holding her softly on the shoulder.

"Please don't do this. Don't kill our baby. It's the symbol of our love."

"Let me go" Wendy moved away from her lover and turned her back to him with tears like that of a river falling from her eyes. She covered with her hands and prevented her sobs and whimpers, but Jongin could still notice and hear it.

"It's my life Jongin, and this my decision." 

"Your decision? What about me, what about my feelings? What about our love for each other? What happened to the love we shared?" Jongin asked with his body shaking dangerously as he was still in a terrible state of shock.

Wendy turned around, now to face her lover. She placed her hand on her chest and looked at Jongin with a silent cry.

"I don't love you Jongin, I never loved you. All the feelings I had for you was nothing but pity, but I know I regret leaving Baekhyun for you." Wendy choked on her own words.

"I'm sorry Jongin." She turned to leave, but Jongin stopped her.

"I'm sorry for coming into your life Wendy, but what about Yumi's sacrifice? What will become of her?"

"What is meant to happen will surely happen. You can't hide from fate." With that being said, Wendy left the room, leaving a cold and crying Jongin all alone on the cold floor.

"God!" Wendy cried out once she was outside the mansion. She fell on her knees with a loud scream as she sobbed bitterly. 

"What have I done? What did I say to Jongin?" She sobbed as she kept repeating the same question over and over again till it started to rain.

There Wendy was in the rain still sobbing when a soft hand tapped her on the shoulder. On turning around, she came in contact with Yumi who stared at her in shock.

"What's going on Wendy? Why are you crying in the rain?" Yumi asked as she couldn't understand a thing, but the latter rushed up and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry Yumi, please forgive me for what I'm about to do." Wendy sobbed in her cousin's shoulder painfully.

"Wendy what's wrong? Why are you apologizing?" 

"I am about to make the biggest mistake of my life to save my Jo-" Wendy started but stopped on seeing Dean, Baekhyun's right-hand man standing at the entrance of the main door to the living room smiling calmly, and suddenly Wendy quickly pulled away from the hug.

"Get away from me!" Wendy yelled as she pushed Yumi to the ground.

"Don't ever come close to me." She shouted and ran off to one of the free cars.

"Wendy please wait up," Yumi shouted and got up to run after Wendy who was now about driving off, but Dean suddenly grabbed her hand stopping her from moving after her.

"Boss is calling for you now in his room," Dean said while smiling calmly to Yumi.

"Oh, Okay." Yumi turned to look at Wendy who was driving off and she looked away went with along with Dean into the mansion.

"Sir you called me," Yumi asked immediately after stepping a foot into Baekhyun's room.

"Yes, I did ...why are you all wet? Were you having fun in the rain?" The Mafia asked.

"No Sir, I was with Wend-"

"Enough. You change your clothes first and come, there's something I need to verify." 

"Okay, Sir." Yumi trailed off to the bathroom without noticing Dean staring at her, Baekhyun noticed the dirty look on Dean's eyes, and he smirked.

"Want to die, Dean?" 

"No Boss, I'm so sorry." 

"Get lost." The Mafia commanded, and the latter walked out of the room in a flash.

Baekhyun flipped the file in his hands when the sound of someone falling in the bathroom caught his attention.

Is Yumi okay? He thought and got up from his chair and went to the bathroom, and on getting there, he saw Yumi lying all on the cold floor gasping for air.

"What's going on?" Baekhyun muttered and rushed over to Yumi and held her up in his hands.

"Yumi what's wrong with you?" The mafia asked, but the latter couldn't say a word.

He carried his wife to the room and laid her on the bed. He didn't know what to do next and his wife was slowly giving up. 

"Yumi please say something. What is wrong with you?" Baekhyun asked with panic evident in his voice for the very first time in his life. 

God, what do I do? I can't just let her die. Yes, I will call Jongin and ask 

Baekhyun thought and quickly grabbed his phone and called Yumi's childhood friend 

Jongin was still on his knees sobbing when he heard his phone ringing.

"Wendy!" He smiled and picked it up, only to see his Boss calling.

"Yes, Boss ... Yumi? What's wrong wi- ... Okay, I will be right there" Jongin got up and quickly wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Oh god, poor Yumi. She might be suffering from asthma attacks again." Jongin mut
