"Dean get her Seoul's most beautiful wedding dress. We have a wedding to attend."

Yumi let her tears fall from her still burning eyes, and immediately, she was taken away by Dean.


Baekhyun left the living room and went straight to his room upstairs. He flang the door in anger, and once he was inside, he tossed his gun aside, and a loud scream of pain and betrayal left his throat. He was broken and devastated. He never imagined himself ever getting married to Yumi, because that was the last thing he would ever do. All he wanted was for Yumi to be his personal assistant and not his wife, but since it has come to this, Baekhyun wasn't left with much of a choice.

"How could Wendy betray me like this ! I gave her all the love I had in me. I never touched her because I respected her, I kept her happy. Why did she do this to me?" The words slipped through Baekhyun's lips like a mantra. He stayed like that feeling all empty and lonely. He had all the right to be angry. He was betrayed by the one he thought he would spend the rest of his life with.

Baekhyun made his way into the grand beautiful hall where his wedding ceremony was taking place. He was escorted by armed men all in black, and right behind him was Yumi looking so beautiful in her dress. She was smiling just as she was commanded by Baekhyun before they left the mansion.


With pride and a hurtful look on Baekhyun's face, he walked through the crowd of high-status people till they got to the said alter, but deep in his heart, he was bittered with hatred. He couldn't stand looking at Yumi in the face. 

The priest stood in front of Baekhyun and started reading the vows to him.

"Do you Baekhyun take Yumi to be your lawfully wedded wife, in joy and sorrow, in sickness and in health, till death do you apart?" 

The Mafia boss smirked. He wanted to laugh out his anger loud in front of everyone and just end the whole drama show that was going on at the moment. But then he thought about his reputation, dignity, and ego.

He glares at Yumi once and muttered the words 

"I Do." 


"And do you Yumi take Baekhyun to be your lawfully wedded husband, in joy and sorrow, in sickness and in health, till death do you apart ?" The priest asked Yumi.
Yumi blinked a couple of times and fearfully looked at her soon to be husband.

This is surely the end of my life, and I will gladly accept it.

"I Do" Yumi replied calmly. She tried her possible best to suppress the tears that were threatening to fall from her eyes, but it was totally impossible.

She was so scared, and for the first time, she wished her parents were there with her to hug and tell her that she's a brave child.

"You may kiss the bride." The priest said to Baekhyun making Yumi's eyes widened in fear. She felt her heart racing drastically and her legs suddenly becoming weak.

Baekhyun smirked. He moved closer to Yumi and pulled her closer by the waist. Without saying a word, he captured  Yumi's lips in a bittersweet kiss. A kiss which passes nothing but hatred. He pulled away and the crowd celebrated what supposed to be Baekhyun's happiest day.

"Congratulations! Mr. and Ms. Byun, I announce you husband and wife." The priest announced and the couple went back to their seats.

"Wow." Kris chuckled. "So she was your lover after all. I must say she's really hot and attractive to the eyes. I wish I met her first." Kris muttered immediately after Baekhyun arrived to his seat.

"Do you value your pathetic life ?" Baekhyun asked in a deep tone with his gun pointed at Kris.

"I'm sorry, please I'm sorry." Kris pleaded with his hands held up in surrender.

"Then don't provoke me." Baekhyun walked away to greet his guests, leaving Yumi all by herself.

The Byun mansion was crowded with different people, mostly co Mafias from other countries and provinces. Yumi was planning to sit all by herself, there was nothing to be done or said anyways but Kris walked over to her.

"Hello beautiful, it seems you're lonely. What's wrong?" He asked in a low calm tone.

Yumi smiled and greeted the man standing in front of her.

"I'm not lonely Sir, but feeling a bit tired." 

"I see." Kris chuckled and sat next to Yumi.

"Do you still remember me?" 

"Yes, I do. I do remember you from the company last week." Yumi replied.

"Wow, so that means we can be good friends-" Kris started, but Baekhyun interrupted him.

"I guess what you're trying to say is that you're on your way out Mr. Kris." The Mafia's tone was pretty scary, and Yumi gulped in fear. 

"I'm so sorry Baekhyun, I will be on my way now." Kris let out a tensed smile and rushed up, he glanced at Baekhyun and left in a hurry.

Baekhyun hissed in irritation when his eyes met with Yumi.
He grabbed Yumi by the hand and pulled her upstairs and when he got to his bedroom, he slammed the girl's back against the wall.

"Now listen carefully to me you low life slave. I bought you to work as my slave forever, but the unforeseen happened and I got married to you. But let me remind you that this marriage is nothing but a compromise and if you dare to mess around or cross your limits, then I will have no choice than to cut you off this world." The Mafia hissed and punched the wall closer to Yumi's ear.

Yumi shivered and shut her eyes closed. She felt like collapsing 
"I'm sorry, I won't mingle with anyone at the party downstairs."

"Really?" Baekhyun questioned with an evil smirk playing along with his lips.

"What makes you think that you will be even attending the party?"

"Because I'm your wife, and it's right for me to be there, or people will point their fingers at you."

"Forget it Yumi. You're invisible to everyone in the party right now. So I need you to get something clear into your brain." Baekhyun lifted Yumi's
