Baekhyun felt his heart tremble by his wife's words. He couldn't believe the turn of event.

I actually killed the parents of the one I love so much. I took away Yumi's happiness. What have I done?

Baekhyun staggered as the whole situation was slowly becoming so real.

Sehun, on the other hand, watched how Yumi was sobbing helplessly, and he felt bad about it, and all he could mutter was “.” and left the room knowing too well that Baekhyun is the one responsible for what made her cry
 
Baekhyun moved closer to Yumi and hugged her tightly without knowing that Sehun had already exited the room.

“Please forgive me Yumi, I have never planned for this to happen.”
Baekhyun sobbed openly as it became too hard for him to handle.

“What do you mean? Why are you asking for forgiveness?” Yumi asked in a low and weak tone as she stared at him.

“Yumi, I killed your parents five years ago in an accident. I was ambushed on my way back from a business trip with Jennifer that night and I ran into their car. I tried to save them Yumi. I tried all I could, but it was too late.” Baekhyun said with so much sadness and pain in his words and Yumi became silent. She couldn't believe what her husband was saying, it was hard for her to believe that the love of her life was actually the very person that killed her dear parents.
 
“You killed them?” Yumi muttered the words with uncontrollable tears falling from her eyes. “You killed my parents?”

“I'm so sorry Yumi. I tried all I could to help them, but it was far too late. Please forgive m-”
“Let me go!” Yumi all but yelled as she pushed Baekhyun away with screams of pain following. “How could you Baekhyun? How could you kill my parents and now you're asking me to forgive you?” Yumi sobbed openly as she clung onto the bed for support to get up from the ground.

“No Baekhyun, no. I can never forgive you for this. You took away my happiness, you made me an orphan. Do you even have any idea how I've lived my life after I received the phone call from that night? Do you even know how I felt when I couldn't even see their bodies? No, you wouldn't. It was my birthday Baekhyun, and because of you I can't even celebrate my birthdays anymore because they died terribly all for the sake of getting me a birthday cake, and up until this day their bodies were never found.” Yumi staggered and looked out through the window.

“I can't live with you anymore, Baekhyun,” Yumi said calmly without looking at her husband.

“Please, Yumi, don't go. You're free to hate me and even hit me, but please don't leave me Yumi, please.” Baekhyun pulled Yumi unto himself, sobbing and begging, but she pushed him away.

“Don't touch me Baekhyun!” Yumi yelled. “You've lost that right to even call my name the day you killed my parents. We are over, Byun Baekhyun.” Yumi walked away from him and grabbed her parents' pictures and left the room without taking any of her belonging along with her.

“No, no please don't leave me. I can't live without you Yumi, I will surely kill myself. Yumi!!!” The Mafia cried out in pain, but there was no single response from his wife.

“Oh God, what have I done? Why didn't I try harder to save her parents, why?” Baekhyun asked himself and ran his fingers along with his hair.
“No, I can't lose you Yumi, I just can't.” Baekhyun grabbed his car keys to go after Yumi, but Sehun held him by the hands and stopped him from going any further.
 
“Let her go, for now, Baekhyun. She's going through a difficult phase of her life right now, and all we can do for is to give her some time to recover from this shock she's in right now, please.”

“I'm sorry Sehun, but I can't listen to your advice today. It's night and the world outside is dangerous anything could happen to her.”
 
“Baekhyun listen to me and calm down.”

“I can't ing calm down my friend. I've hurt Yumi beyond repair and the only thing I can do for her right now is to make sure she's safe and okay, that's all I want.” Baekhyun turned around and left the mansion in search of Yumi with great regrets in his heart.

Yumi walked aimlessly along the cold street of Seoul with an emotionless expression on. Her mind was crowded with so many thoughts as she kept walking. It got to a certain point and she stopped and sat on a bench near the bus station.
 
“Why did you do it Baekhyun? Why did you kill my parents? I loved them so much just as much as I love you Baekhyun, why?” Yumi sobbed while looking at the cars passing along the road till she became tired of crying and soon she slept off.

“Baekhyun.,” Yumi muttered, blinking her eyes open shortly after she had fallen asleep. “I can't hate you my Baekhyun, but I want to be alone for now.” She got up and took a taxi back home.

Getting home, Yumi noticed that she wasn't with any money so she quickly looked at the elderly taxi driver, and immediately, she started begging the taxi driver that she has no money with her, but the man only smiled at her and pat heron the head.

“It's okay my child, let go of the pain you're feeling right now, and embrace back the one you love and have with you. Let the past stay as the past in as much as bygones be bygones, rather protect your present and secure your future with the one you love.”

Yumi blinked at the man, and only then did she noticed that it was not even a taxi she entered in the first place, but a personal car.

“Thank you so much, Sir.” Yumi bowed at the elderly man and stepped out of the car and went into the mansion without anyone noticing that she was back. She went straight to Baekhyun's room and walked over to the mirror.
 
"Underground elevator activated." She commanded and tapped on the red button behind the mirror, and suddenly she flipped over, and in front of her was the elevator and she stepped inside.

"Elevator deactivated," She commanded and soon she was heading down at great speed. She recalled how she once took a ride with Baekhyun hugging her so tight, and all she could do was to smile.
