A Bump on the Road

You woke up to your typical day except today... you felt today was going to be slightly different then any other day you've had. You jumped up from you bed and went to your kitchen to make yourself some chocolate chip pancakes.
(A.N.- by the way, your a rich girl and a complete suger junkie. lol)
While grabbing the latch that opens one of the refrigerator's doors, you noticed a sticky note. You read it aloud to yourself. It said,
"Morning ____! Your father and I came to vist you but we just left you asleep. We just wanted to tell you that we were called in for an emergency confrence in North America. We do not know when we'll be back but hopefully soon! We love and will miss you while we're gone. And just so you're not lonely, your sister BoBea will drop by every now and then. Tootles! <3"
Haha, oh mom. Always writing down what she says.
You went to look for pancake batter and chocolate chips but you found nothing but old spices.
Crap! I'll have to go to the store now. Ugh. I hate going shopping on an early Sunday morning like this.
You got dressed, did your makeup, basically just got ready for the day. Then your stomach growls.
AND I have to go on an empty stomach too. -___-
